“Jason” & Dating Aliases
Jason is best documented as a reported, context-specific dating alias in a late-2025 community-source cluster, followed by machine-rendered 2026 self-accounts, including a later claim about use among ordinary acquaintances. The reviewed evidence does not establish it as Daniel’s legal identity, a name he generally prefers, or a standing name supplied to every potential partner.
That distinction matters because the earlier archive record does show a broader alias theme, but its 2022 machine transcripts describe the relevant name as four letters and never identify it as Jason. Joining the two would turn separate, unchecked accounts into a false continuity.

No first-party title names Jason
Section titled “No first-party title names Jason”An exact, case-insensitive audit found zero Jason title matches in:
- all 2,227
transcript.titlefields in the August 25, 2026 archive manifest; and - all 24 distinct visible-card titles in the dated current-channel inventory.
A zero-result title audit cannot prove the name was never spoken. It does show why first-party title, spoken alias, and community shorthand must not be treated as interchangeable.
2022: an unnamed alias, not Jason

Because Jason has five letters, the 2022 candidates weigh against identifying that earlier alias as Jason. They do not prove what the four-letter name was, and the wiki does not guess.
2025: where Jason enters the retained record
Section titled “2025: where Jason enters the retained record”Reddit post 1oeaov1, created October 23, 2025, has an uploader-supplied title
alleging that Daniel told an unnamed woman his name was Jason, his age was 26, and
that he was a day trader. That exact title is evidence of the uploader’s
allegation, not proof of what Daniel said or what any dating profile contained.
Reddit’s official English automatic-caption track and two independent transcription passes agree on two material passages:
- about 01:51.9–02:03.1, Daniel is machine-rendered saying that he does not know whether the unnamed woman calls him her boyfriend and that she refers to him as Jason; and
- about 02:42.9–03:14.2, he is machine-rendered describing a changed name and date of birth, fear of a dating-app ban, and saying he was 26.
The independent passes did not find “day trader” in the attached audio. That detail remains an uploader-title allegation only.
The complete available 3:41 video-only rendition was separately reviewed. It shows Daniel alone at a desk in one continuous static-camera view, with no obvious hard cut, inserted caption, compositing, or credible authenticity dispute. It may still have been trimmed from a longer original. The reviewed video rendition contains no soundtrack; the separate official audio track was assessed only through captions and offline ASR. Visual continuity cannot verify the machine-rendered words.
From alleged alias to community shorthand
Section titled “From alleged alias to community shorthand”On November 3, 2025, the title of Reddit post 1omyfcr begins with Jason as its
subject. The usable fact is narrow: by then, at least one community post was using
Jason as shorthand for Daniel. The rest of that title’s attributed comparison and
appearance framing is not adopted.
Community repetition is not independent corroboration. A community can adopt a name from one allegation even when the original audio remains unchecked.
2026: a later machine-rendered self-account
Section titled “2026: a later machine-rendered self-account”A contributor-supplied, non-redistributed copy of the member-gated why I quit YouTube stream allowed two offline-ASR passes over the relevant section. At 00:47:15–00:48:33, both passes render Daniel describing a dating persona named Jason, aged 25, and presented as a professional day trader. The machine text then renders him saying that he changed his stated age by only a couple of years because he worried an age-and-name search would surface his Famous Birthdays page.
August 26: Daniel’s machine-rendered persona explanation
Section titled “August 26: Daniel’s machine-rendered persona explanation”At retained-rendition 02:56:20.22–02:58:23.26 in the later public I’M BACK stream, one unreviewed machine pass renders Daniel responding to a chat reference to Jason. Using a tomato metaphor, he is machine-rendered saying that Jason was still him, but with what he called Daniel’s bad parts removed. The pass then renders him characterising “Daniel” as Jason with those parts retained and amplified for comedic effect.
September 10: concealment account and different names among acquaintances
Section titled “September 10: concealment account and different names among acquaintances”In the public life updates stream, the unreviewed machine pass renders Daniel saying his earlier preference for an isolated, detached house reflected fear of neighbours exposing him while he was in a relationship. Later, it renders him describing avoidance of social-media, YouTube and streaming topics that could lead back to him. This extends his own account of concealing his online persona; it does not establish an actual disclosure, housing decision, partner’s knowledge or effect on a relationship.
A targeted repeat using the same model places the housing explanation at 00:57:31.12–00:57:54.29 and topic avoidance at 00:59:31.31–00:59:55.66. Agreement between these passes does not verify speech. The partner is unnamed, and this account is not assigned to Weedy or to an earlier allegation.
At targeted 00:59:55.66–01:01:01.46, the pass renders him describing some acquaintances as knowing him as Jason and others as Daniel, and expressing concern about those groups meeting. This is a claimed pattern of introductions, not a count of people or proof of what anyone knows. The acquaintances are not identified or treated as romantic partners, and the account does not establish concurrent relationships or a generally preferred name.
His separate September 10 dating expectations and emotional-intelligence views remain attributed opinions and self-descriptions.
September 17: conflicting introductions and intended name-change paperwork
Section titled “September 17: conflicting introductions and intended name-change paperwork”The official main-channel Hiding in my room is live! stream adds a more detailed self-account. The passages below come from an unreviewed machine transcript, not human listening. Exact ranges use the retained source’s zero-origin timeline; the source review records the packet-preserved media and acquisition limits. The creator attribution comes from independently checked channel context, not a name inferred by ASR.
At 01:11:18–01:13:20, the pass renders Daniel saying he introduced himself to a friend as Jason because he anticipated an unnamed ex moving in and worried about being addressed as Daniel in front of her. It then renders the reverse concern: if he introduces himself to a future date as Daniel, the friend might call him Jason. He describes wanting to stop using the alias but feeling constrained by earlier introductions. At 01:13:35–01:14:06, he contrasts that with having given Daniel to the contact who asked about lifts to work.
This is his explanation of the introductions and possible future awkwardness, not an established move-in plan, encounter, disclosure or account of what the other people actually know. The unnamed ex is not identified as Weedy or linked to an older allegation; the friend and lift contact are not identified.
At 01:15:12–01:16:15, the pass renders a further claim that he signed up to a gym as James, leaving different contacts associated with three names. At 01:16:36–01:16:48, he considers moving away and starting afresh; this is a possibility, not a completed move. At 01:17:27–01:18:18, he says an account linked to his phone number displays Jason and considers separate phone/SIM arrangements for future introductions as Daniel. No account, gym record, device purchase or actual resolution was reviewed. The gym, contacts, location and account identifiers are omitted; no device or SIM count is established.
At 01:21:26–01:21:51, the pass renders him saying he paid £60 for deed-poll paperwork, but did not know whether it arrived after he moved out. He describes an intention to change his name to Jason and obtain identification bearing it. This does not establish a completed legal name change, a valid document or replacement ID; no paperwork or payment record was reviewed.
The surrounding account remains provisional. At 01:22:18–01:22:28, he anticipates needing an explanation if the inconsistency is noticed. At 01:23:00–01:23:28, he proposes describing Daniel as his first name and Jason as a preferred middle name. That is a hypothetical explanation, not evidence that Jason is his middle name or a generally preferred name.
September 4 Discord: named Weedy reference
Section titled “September 4 Discord: named Weedy reference”The later Discord export adds an explicit written connection between the public labels: on September 4, Daniel wrote that Weedy had told him to become Jason, followed by a declaration that he was Jason. This is his retelling of her words within a discussion of his behaviour, not testimony from Weedy, a confirmed request for a legal name change or her endorsement of the persona. It also does not identify the unnamed ex in any separate stream passage.
Why “preferred name for potential partners” is too broad
Section titled “Why “preferred name for potential partners” is too broad”The available record supports reported 2025 dating alias. It does not currently support preferred name, which would imply a stable personal choice across multiple interactions. The distinction rests on four limits:
- No first-party title uses Jason.
- No cited human reviewer has directly heard Daniel say the name; the 2026 spoken accounts remain machine-rendered; the September 4 Discord entry is original typed text, not heard speech.
- The 2022 alias candidates point to a different, unnamed four-letter form.
- The 2025 Reddit captions and July 2026 private-copy ASR are consistent, while the August 26 account supplies persona framing and September 10 adds a claim about acquaintances. September 17 adds claimed introductions and intended paperwork, but frames the preferred-middle-name explanation as a possible answer; none is direct human verification or an authenticated profile.
The Weed Girl / “Weedy” page retains the unnamed participant’s privacy and the separate relationship-label account. Jason should not be used to infer her name, identity, agreement with any relationship label, or knowledge of profile details.
What remains to verify

- Whether Jason was a profile field, an off-platform introduction, a joke, or a name used only in the one alleged interaction.
- Whether Daniel ever described Jason as a preferred name rather than a practical or improvised alias.
- Independent confirmation of the reported September 4 Weedy request, without treating it as an identity bridge to unnamed people in other sources.
Until those gaps close, the accurate wiki wording is reported dating alias, with later unverified self-accounts about persona and use among acquaintances.
