DO NOT BUY Remnant 2 - AVOID this game!

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So

recently I've been playing the brand new

Remnant 2, and as an avid fan of action

RPG games, I knew I just had to play this

game. Unfortunately, so far it's been kind

of bland, boring, uninspired, and

extremely lacking in luster. I don't think

I've played a game more boring than this

in a very long time, and that's saying

something. This game is just so extremely

boring, I couldn't even finish my Twitch

stream where I was supposed to be playing

this game to show my viewers what it's

like. It was just so dull and boring. It

was like a very generic third-person

shooter. It's kind of like, imagine if

Fortnite had a baby with Resident Evil 4

or Resident Evil 3, the remakes, and just

taking away any of the fun gameplay

mechanics from either of those games. And

what you're left with is like a very

boring over-the-shoulder third-person

shooter game with some RPG elements. So

you begin the game with a very basic

character creation menu. You can choose

from several presets, some tattoos and

makeup. I don't know why game developers

think us players really care about what

kind of tattoos our character has. I

really couldn't care less what tattoos my

character has on his bum or something.

You start the game and you're presented

with this extremely dull and tedious

tutorial level where it's just trying to

tell you, press this button to open a

door, and then press this button to use

your healing, press this button to reload,

as if us gamers who have been playing

games for years or decades even, can't

figure out how to reload a gun by either

pressing X or the R button. Feels like it

needs to give us a tutorial how to do

basic movement and fighting actions. The

setting looks kind of cool, I guess. It's

kind of like a post-apocalyptic American

city, but everything's so dreary and dull

and drab, and just following this NPC

around while she blah blah blahs for a few

minutes, and then you finally get to the

main hub of the game, which is like the

village hub, you get a bunch of vendors

that do stuff like crafting. You can learn

stuff and buy and sell stuff and upgrade

your character there. But the game is so

boring, I couldn't get far enough into the

game to even get to the point where any of

that would even matter. There's something

very janky feeling, very cheap feeling

about the quality of the movement

animations. It just feels very

unresponsive and kind of laggy and

stuttery. Very bad optimization on the PC.

I don't know if it's like this on other

platforms, but Using a PC with my pro

gaming laptop, 17-inch Razer Blade RTX

3060 laptop, which should be easily able

to run this game, the game just felt

stuttery and not very smooth, and the

animations just didn't look very great or

feel very great. As for the combat of the

game, it's not much better. The combat is

very basic. It's just like hold down right

mouse button to aim and then shoot your

very boring slow firing weapon, which is

like a like a rifle, some kind of musket,

and you also get like a pistol as a

sidearm. And then you shoot these very

weird-looking, boring-looking alien demon

things that look like something a

university student would be working on as

like a game design project for his

homework. The game looks bad and feels

bad. The enemy models look really boring

and very basic looking and not very

creative. It's just like something very

generic. It kind of looks like a mobile

game. I'd even go as far as to say that

there's probably mobile games on the App

Store that look and play better than this.

I mean, Fortnite plays a lot better than

this, and that runs on a mobile, and this

is supposed to be a modern PC game.

Come on, this game is so bad I couldn't

even stand playing it for longer than half

an hour. The weapons are so boring, the

gameplay is really dull, and the shooting

action and gameplay mechanics are

weapon at the enemy and do damage. I just

feel so disappointed with this game

because before I played it and after

watching the videos and trailers and

screenshots, the game looked kind of cool.

I thought it was going to be like Elden

Ring but with guns and some kind of like,

uh, cyberpunk medieval kind of themes or

atmosphere, kind of like a Dark Souls game

but with guns. But it's nothing like that.

It feels like— imagine if Fortnite looks

like Resident Evil but just didn't have

any of the interesting gameplay mechanics

that those games have, and it's just like

a very generic bog-standard run-and-gun

shooter where you fight against these

monsters, and then there's like an outpost

of survivors hiding out in an abandoned

building, grouping together to try and

survive and fight back. Form of

resistance. It's just so— everything about

this game is super generic and boring. So

unfortunately, for those reasons, I really

cannot recommend this game. I don't know

how it's on the front page of Steam and

how it's like the top seller game of

Steam. I guess July is a pretty slow

month, but can you imagine wasting £40 on

this load of rubbish? This is probably one

of the worst games I've ever played. I

give it a 0.5 out of 10.

But I just, I feel like gambling's a waste

of time because either you're gonna win

money and then you're gonna think, oh my

God, I'm so good at this roulette,

and then you're gonna keep doing it trying

to make more money, and then you just end

up losing your money, and then you get

angry, and then you'll start trying to win

back the money you lost. So and then you

just lose even more. So I don't

see the point of gambling because you're

never gonna make consistent money, are

you? You'll win, maybe you'll get lucky

once or twice,

and then that feeling when you lose the

money is so horrible. It's like Fortnite

had a baby with Resident Evil.

What the hell am I supposed to do?

This is the worst game I've ever played.

I thought it looked kind of interesting in

the videos. I thought it was going to be

like Elden Ring but with guns.

This is so rubbish.

I think I'm done. I really can't play

this. It's so—

why is this on the front page of Steam?

Imagine a team of people actually spent

hours and hours making this.

Why even bother?

This would have been impressive back in

Like 2002,

you'd be like, oh wow, look at the

lighting, oh look at the shadows. But

2023, this is so bad.

oh my God, this is the worst game I've

ever played. Oh my

There's no way I could play this for 2
