Elden Ring - INSANE FLAMING SWORD FIRE BUILD [PyYidAFQS-o]

Hello and welcome back to a new video.

Today I'll be showing you my special

flaming sword fire samurai build, and it's

a pretty cool way of playing. Basically,

you have like a flaming sword and

different fire spells mixed in with melee

attacks, and there's 2 main important

ashes that we need. The first one is

called Ash of War Flaming Strike, and this

one allows you to ignite your weapon and

set it on fire. And you can do this by

pressing left trigger to spread out the

flames and then R trigger to do a swipe

through the flames, which will ignite your

weapon. And it's really easy to get this

Ashes. You just have to go to Impassable

Gatebridge and go across the bridge

approaching the castle, trying to avoid

the catapults that will be firing at you.

And then just have to run past everything

and go up the hill, go around the side of

the castle, and eventually you'll get to a

graveyard and you'll see one of those dung

beetles pushing around a golden ball. And

after you've taken that down, you'll get

the Flame Strike ability. And to make our

fire attacks even even more powerful,

I've got this Flame, Grant Me Strength

incantation, and I also have Flame

Shrouding Cracked Tear in my Wondrous

Physick Mix for even more fire-boosting

damage. And as you can see, you can do

really good damage. When you press L

trigger, you can spread out some flames,

and then R trigger to swipe through the

flames for even more damage. Also,

another cool thing is when you attack

enemies, it will set them on fire. And the

nice thing about this spell is it does

stagger them a little bit, giving you a

window of opportunity to attack or step

back a bit. However, you do have to be

quite close to the enemy for it to work,

which can be a bit dangerous if you're

getting surrounded. So there's a better

spell than Flamestrike, and it's called

Ash of War Flame of the Redmanes. And this

spell is even better, and you can find it

by going to Fort Gael North and going to

the front of the gates of the castle. And

there should be a dung beetle pushing

around a golden ball, and just take that

down, and that's where you get it from.

And Flame of the Redmanes has to be one of

my favorite spells in the entire game.

It's way better than Flamestrike because,

as you can see, it does more damage and

also spreads out this arc of fire that

goes through multiple enemies. You can

one-shot almost any kind of enemy and

maybe 2 or 3 shots for bigger enemies.

The most fun thing about this ability is

when you've got a load of mobs grouping up

and you can just kind of decimate them by

spamming Flame of the Redmanes over and

over again. The best thing about it is it

knocks down most enemies in one shot and

bigger enemies take maybe 2 or 3 shots to

knock them down, which means you can

basically stun-lock enemies. Even bosses

get knocked down after 2 or 3 hits. It

also does damage against enemies who have

shields and are currently blocking. One

time I was fighting these 2 Crucible

Knight bosses and I just kept spamming

Flame of the Redmanes at them, and it just

kept doing insane damage and also knocking

them down at the same time.

Unfortunately, you are quite fragile if

the enemy gets up close in your face. It

takes a bit of time to cast a spell, and

you can get interrupted during it. It also

costs quite a lot of FP to cast, so if

you're like me and you didn't put many

points into your Mind statistic, then

you'll see yourself running low on FP

pretty fast after spamming it. I think

it's pretty overpowered sometimes because

it does insane damage, and you don't have

to be right up next to your enemy within

his melee attack range. You can be

spamming at him as he's walking towards

you, and it just knocks everything down so

easily. Look at this group of enemies

coming towards me, and I just completely

burned them down with this wave of fire.

It's pretty cool. The only downside is it

doesn't ignite your weapon like

Flamestrike does. Now going back to

Flamestrike, the cool thing about it is

you can ignite almost any weapon. I just

love the way you can choose any weapon

you've got, for example these hook claws,

or maybe Some kind of mace or an axe or a

polearm. As long as the weapon doesn't

have its own special ability built into

it, you can apply the flame ignition

effect to almost any weapon you have. For

example, I have these spiked boxing

gloves, and when you set them on fire,

they look amazing. So it's pretty fun

experimenting with different weapons to

see what they look like when they're on

fire. It's just a bit annoying because it

doesn't last very long. It only lasts

about 10 seconds and then the flames wear

off. If you want more fire spells,

there's plenty of fire spells to choose

from, but I didn't really feel like any of

them were very good compared to Flames of

the Redmane, and I don't really have

enough points spent in Faith to really

make them do a lot of damage. So you have

like a fireball thing that can be charged

up and thrown at enemies, but I don't

really like it that much. It's not that

great. And there's also like a

flamethrower thing, shoots out a stream of

fire from your hands. Which is pretty

rubbish. It looks cool, but the damage is

so bad. And then there's also this other

fire spell where you just kind of set

everything on fire around you, and when

you come in contact with enemies, it does

fire damage on them. So that's pretty fun

and everything, it's just kind of

dangerous because it takes a while to cast

and you have to be right next to the

enemies in order for it to do any damage.

But I just feel like Flame of the Redmanes

is much better in every way. I just really

love Flame of the Redmanes because so many

bosses are very difficult to get close to

because they keep doing AoE attacks, keep

doing spinning whirling melee attacks

where it's very dangerous to get near to

them. But if you just keep them kind of

away from you and you keep backstepping,

you can keep spamming Flame of the

Redmanes and get them to get knocked down

after 2 or 3 hits, and then just keep

spamming at them. It does such great

damage as well. As for my samurai armor

set, I got it from this place. It's called

Isolated Merchant's Shack in the Caelid

region, and he's just sitting there and

you can buy the entire samurai set from

him for a pretty low cost. And I've also

got another samurai set. I forgot where I

got it from. It was some cave in this icy

snow region, but I prefer the red-looking

one more. So yeah, that's currently my

favorite way of playing the game, is to

just spam Flame of the Redmanes. It seems

to be the easiest way to play the game out

of all of my weapon options and abilities

that I currently have. The best

combination I found so far is Flame of the

Redmanes and have the fire boosting

incantations and potion thing and just

kind of try to avoid melee combat if

possible. I very rarely use my sword

unless I really have to. The only reason I

have the sword equipped in the first place

is because you need to attach the ashes to

a weapon. And I think you have to put

points into faith to make the damage go up

more. That's what I've noticed. And I kind

of made a mistake because when I began the

game, I didn't really think I was going to

use magic. I thought I was going to be a

purely melee character, and I put almost

all of my points into strength and

endurance and stamina and hit points. And

only now, kind of later into the game, I

started putting points into faith, so my

faith points are kind of low compared to

someone who started off the game with

magic in mind. So hopefully I can find a

way to reset all my points, or maybe just

keep grinding and adding more points to

faith, building on my fire damage to make

Flame of the Redmanes do even more damage.

But it seems to be working pretty well for

me so far, and if you have any suggestions
