This Dagger Backstab Assassin build does INSANE DAMAGE - Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree Guide

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So I

found this way to do insane damage on

backstab crits using fire buffs and

a bunch of different pots and spells and

incantations. So it's quite a lengthy

process. First you want to do Flame,

Grant Me Strength, and then do Golden Vow,

and then quickly enable Darkness, and then

you want to drink your Wondrous Flask.

And then equip your oil pot. Now it's kind

of tricky because you want to throw the

oil pot and then also do a Darkness. So

maybe put the Darkness here and then throw

the oil pot, but the problem is it

triggers him. You want to do another

Darkness to reset the fight. Health,

max health, and then Knight's Resolve,

and then backstab. Oh,

7,262 damage! Did you see that?

I'll try and do it again, see if I can get

any more damage. I swear I did 8,000

damage one time. Pop the Wondrous Flask.

I was healing myself instead of doing the

incantations. Wait, Golden Vow,

Flame, Give Me Strength,

and then re-equip your oil pot.

And then, so this is the tricky bit, you

do maybe stand far away. Oil pot and

then darkness. So that should get

him into the darkness. Is he coming? He's

not coming. Oh my god, darkness. Okay, we

got him, we got him. Backstab. Oh,

8,715! Did you see that?

I don't know why that time it was higher.

Maybe I forgot a buff the first time. So

that was really high, 8,700 damage. It's

basically gonna one-shot nearly anything.

Basically any kind of humanoid enemy is

going to one-shot, apart from bosses

obviously. Okay, so here's how I did it.

You want the Misericorde Fire Dagger,

and it's got critical strike 140. You want

the Black Knife armor set so you have

stealth. You want Fire Scorpion Charm,

increases fire damage. Dagger Talisman

increases critical hits. Ritual Sword

Talisman increases attack power when your

health is at full. And then Shard of

Alexander doesn't really work, but it will

work for a different weapon I'll show you

later. So for the Ashes of War, we put on

the Royal Knight's Resolve with fire

affinity. This gives you the maximum

damage you can get from a backstab. I've

tried out all the other affinities, and

Royal Knight's Resolve will give you 80%

damage increase on your next attack. For

the Wondrous Physick flask, we have Flame

Shrouding Cracked Tear increases fire

attacks and And also Strength Knot Crystal

Tear increases strength temporarily. And

then for the spells, we have, we have 4

incantations. We have Darkness, Shadow

Bait, but the buffs to damage are

Flamegrammy Strength increases physical

and fire affinity attack power, and Golden

Vow increases attack power. But then I

found out there's a pot. If you go to item

crafting, go to pots, you can create this

thing called an oil pot. And I think it

increases fire damage taken by like 50%.

It's really good in combination with other

fire attacks. So you don't really need to

fully buff yourself every time because

most enemies die after about 4,000 or

5,000 damage. If you do fully buffed, you

can do like 8,000 to 9,000 damage, which

is a bit over the top for most enemies.

See, 3,000 damage is enough for most

enemies. You can pop a darkness so you can

get out of there. There's another really

good sword called the Blasphemous Blade,

and this shoots out this big flame.

Watch, shoots out this big flame. And

yeah, you can use oil pots to make the—

make it do more damage. And also Flame,

Grant Me Strength will also buff it. So we

can do Flame, Grant Me Strength, Golden

Vow,

pop the flask. Should be able to one-shot

this guy. Using this and then get your oil

pot. We don't even need darkness.

So we go here, throw the oil pot,

and then do a Taker's Flame. Oh,

4,000 damage! I just one-shot him, did

4,000 damage. You can use it against

bosses as well. I did this boss called the

Black Assassin, and I threw the oil pot at

him, and I just spammed Taker's Flame at

him, and I did like 6,000-7,000 damage

every time. Watch this. I missed.

Watch, watch. It's really good.

Look, it'll do continuous damage

in a line. It's a pretty good weapon as

well. Also, after you kill enemies using

it, it replenishes your health, so it also

heals you. So it's a pretty good weapon.

So there's a Site of Grace here, and

outside of this door there are these 2

really heavily armored enemies, and

they're really tough to kill using

traditional methods. But using this

method, I can one-shot the one on the

right and then get the other one with the

left if I reset the fight. So watch this.

Um, first of all, Golden Vow.

Flame, grant me strength.

Wondrous Physick. I don't really need the

oil pot, to be honest. And then re-equip

Darkness, do a Darkness hit up,

and then Royal Knight's Resolve.

One shot, 6k damage. And then this one

will come after you. What you want to do

is run away. So you got Oops, I ran into

the crossbow man. That's not very good.

Oh my god, something shot me in the back.

Okay, we'll just run away temporarily.

So we want to get this guy with the

darkness.

Ah, there he goes. Okay, and then

backstab. See, easy. I wouldn't have taken

any damage if I went for those crossbow

people. But yeah, I can one-shot these

really tough armored guys. Before, I was

using a shield and like a big two-handed

sword, and they kept healing up, they kept

stunning me, it was so annoying. But this

way I can just one-shot them with a

backstab. It is kind of annoying it takes

such a long time to do your buffs, but if

you really want max damage, then you have

to do it. It's about 3, 4 buffs,

4 steps. Where's my potion?

Darkness. Do the darkness on this one.

I don't like how the other guy, he can see

you for some reason.

He shouldn't be able to see you through

the darkness. You just have to run away

for a bit, then let him come into the

darkness. And then backstab him.

Easy. No damage, one-shot killed each.

Pretty good tactic. And then you can go

and finish off these guys with one shot

For some reason it doesn't trigger a

backstab. I got this dagger as well, the

Black Knife Dagger, and I thought it'd be

really good. You know how the Black Knife

assassin enemies they do like this grab

and they stab you. They kind of like grab

you and stab you in the gut and it does

loads of damage. I was hoping it could do

that, but it doesn't. It just shoots like

this blade of dark flame. I'll show you

now. So I'm guessing because it's dark

flame, you can just use Flame Gourami

Strength and, uh, Golden Vow,

Wondrous Physick.

And then do a darkness.

So you can do— I guess you could do a

backstab, but it doesn't do as much

damage. You can do this.

Oh, why isn't it— oh, I didn't have it

equipped. Wait, I didn't have the right

dagger equipped. Watch, it should do this.

See, it does rubbish damage. It did

like 800 damage. That's rubbish.
