Why i Regret buying the BOSCH EasyAquatak 120 High-pressure washer

Hello, welcome back to a new video.

So I recently bought this Bosch

high-pressure washer EZ AquaTac 120

because I wanted something that would help

me wash my car more easily instead of

having to use a sponge and a bucket, which

is very tiring and time-consuming.

So I thought I'd get a pressure washer

just like all of the car wash guys use at

the professional car washing places, and I

got myself this one.

And after using it for a little bit, I I

feel like I'm kind of disappointed buying

this and I regret buying it.

And actually I ended up returning it

because I didn't feel like it was worth

the money.

So in today's video, I'm going to be

reviewing the Bosch High Pressure Washer

EasyAquatak 120, explaining why it's

rubbish.

It comes with a bunch of attachments,

different brushes and things you can

attach to it for different cleaning

purposes.

And the way you're supposed to use it is

you're supposed to attach a hose pipe into

it and that's how you feed water into it.

The problem is my hose pipe is on the

other side of the house and I didn't think

it could reach around.

It's also kind of annoying because

obviously you have to plug this thing into

an outlet, a main socket.

So if you don't have an external outside

main socket, you then have to get an

extension cord, plug it into your house,

and you've got cables dragging all over

the place.

So it is kind of fiddly trying to set it

up because you've got to plug in all the

cables, you've got to plug in the hose,

you've got to plug in the pipe that

attaches to the gun, that attaches to the

green box where the motor is.

It's all just very fiddly and annoying to

set up.

I think it should have all just been one

piece, like it all comes put together as

one pre-built piece of equipment instead

of all these different separate bits that

you have to attach to yourself— I mean,

attach by yourself, which is just kind of

annoying.

So because I didn't want to have to get

the hose pipe from the other side of the

house and plug it into the machine, I

bought this separate green pipe which I

heard was supposed to be able to attach to

the machine, and then you put the other

end into a source of water like a bucket

or a pond or a river, and then it will

pump the water from the source of water

into the pressure washer and shoot it out

of the gun.

But for some reason, I just couldn't

figure out how to get it to work.

I kept putting it into the bucket.

I tried submerging the entire hose pipe

into it to get rid of air bubbles, but for

some reason, the motor— the machine just

wouldn't suck the water out of the bucket

using the hose pipe, and I just couldn't

get it to work.

In the end, I got the hose pipe from the

back side of the house and realized, wait,

my hosepipe already has pressured water

shooting out of it.

If I can get my hosepipe around the side

of the house and wash my car using the

hosepipe, then what's the point of having

the pressure washer?

I mean, the main benefit of having the

pressure washer would be the way you can

attach the soap bucket thing, the little

soap container, to the end of the nozzle,

and then it shoots out a spray of foam so

you can easily soap down your car, which

Without that, you're kind of left with

having to sponge the soap onto the car by

hand, which takes a long time.

So that is one debenefit of not having the

pressure washer.

But once you get the soap onto the car,

basically all you have to do is either dry

wipe it off using a bunch of rags and

cloths, or you just hose down the car and

rinse off the soap, and that's how you get

rid of all the soapy residue.

So you don't really need the pressure

washer unless your car is caked in mud and

it'll be very hard to sponge wash off the

mud because you'd really have to put elbow

grease into it.

It would be nice having the pressure

washer if your car has thick chunks of mud

attached to it, but my car never gets that

dirty, so usually I just, just have a

layer of dust or dirt on the car after a

few weeks and it's quite easy to just

sponge it down with a bucket of soap.

The only annoying thing is having to then

rinse off the soap either using a bunch of

towels like I said earlier, which is what

I usually do, or you can just use the hose

pipe to rinse it down.

So that makes you feel like, I don't need

the pressure washer anymore because the

hose pipe does the job of what the

pressure washer is supposed to do anyway.

There's already quite a lot of pressure

coming out of the hose pipe that can

remove some dirt and some chunks of mud

just from the hose pipe.

So I thought, why have I spent £120 on a

pressure washer when I've already got a

hose pipe at my house?

That can do the job of cleaning the car.

And also, I don't really care that much

about cleaning the bricks and the patio in

the driveway using the pressure washer.

Not really that bothered if the driveway

looks a little bit brown and it could be a

bit lighter shade of brown.

I don't really care that much about the

shade of brown that the driveway is.

It doesn't really bother me or keep me up

at night.

So I ended up returning the pressure

washer because I, I realized I'd rather

have the £120 that have the pressure

washer.

And every time I had to use the pressure

washer, I would have to get it out, plug

it in, get the extension cord out, plug

that in, attach the hose, drag the hose

out, fill it up with soap.

It's just so much faffing about, and I

honestly can't be bothered, and I'd rather

just hand wash my car using soap and

bucket.

So for those reasons, I feel like this

product is kind of rubbish and not worth

buying.

Stop

cleaning it.

So the problem is Um, just spraying it

with the hose doesn't actually clean it,

so I'm back to square one where I got to

sponge down the car with soap and then

rinse off the soap, I guess.

Before, I was sponging it with soap and

then using a dry cloth to wipe it

afterwards.

I can still see it's dirty.

Look.

There's soap everywhere now.

Why is he not using the pressure washer?

I can't get it to work.

How do I get all this soap off the ground?

I really hope I can get a refund on that

pressure washer.

It cost £150.
