BEST Sniper Rifles in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Patch 2.0

Sniper rifles in Cyberpunk 2077 are easily

some of the most powerful weapons in the

game. But how do you get your hands on

some of the best sniper rifles in

Cyberpunk 2077? Well, this is what this

video is gonna be about. Helping you deal

damage from a long range in a safe place

is the name of the game. So here are some

of my favorite sniper rifles. So first of

all, we have the Nekomata, a tier 5 tech

sniper rifle which has really good bonuses

like +300% headshot damage multiplier,

+50% armor penetration. I really like the

scope on this because when it's dark it

really lights up what you're trying to aim

at, and you can also charge up your shots

to do even more damage.

And you can find it by going to the

weapons vendor in Heywood Wellsprings. If

you go here where I'm showing on the map,

there's a weapon shop and they sell the

Nekomata right here, and it costs about

100,000 eddies or maybe 130,000 eddies, I

can't remember now. But it's a really nice

sniper rifle, really good charge-up shots,

and a great scope. For the mods, I got

this tier 5 mod called Pax. It makes the

weapon non-lethal, but it gives you +20%

damage outside of combat. It came with the

E305 Prospector scope, but you know, you

can change it to a different scope. Like,

I've got this one called Gaki. I can

change it to that one, and it has a larger

aiming box. If we go outside, I'll show

you. So as you can see, this scope is much

wider and much bigger than the previous

one, and it also lights up the area you're

aiming. So it's kind of up to you which

kind of scope you prefer. I prefer the

square one actually over this one. This

one's not bad, I guess. Okay, so the next

sniper rifle doesn't even have a scope.

It has like a smart aiming thing. You can

zoom in like this. It's kind of like a

scope. It is called the Ashura, Tier 5+

Smart Sniper Rifle with 170% headshot

damage multiplier and +10% crit damage.

This sniper rifle is so cool because you

don't even have to aim at the enemy as

long as they're inside of that blue square

box. The smart targeting system will track

them and automatically hit them depending

on which part of the body the little

diamond red thing is aiming at. It's

really cool because even if the enemy is

hiding behind cover, you can kind of jump

and and get a lock-on and shoot, and then

the bullet will curve and reach its

target. It really is satisfying getting

like a curved headshot standing really far

away and the enemy's trying to hide behind

cover.

I picked up the sniper rifle by going to

Santo Domingo, and there you'll find a

weapon store where you can see my mouse

cursor is pointing at.

And then you'll find this guy selling

weapons in this outside kind of

marketplace, and just go up to him and

he'll have the Ashura. It's quite an

expensive sniper rifle, 133,000 eddies,

so make sure you got enough money before

coming here. As for the mod, I have the

Panorama It does 15% larger smart

targeting reticle. I only chose this

because I didn't have anything better. I

mean, this one would have been better,

+20% damage against elite enemies, but I

can't take the mod off. Once you put a mod

on, you can't take them off. So I don't

know how to put a new mod on. But don't

forget, because this is a smart weapon,

you need the Smart Link Hands equipped.

So you might need to go to the Ripperdoc.

I didn't realize that at first, and I

thought, wait, this is how the gun works?

This is how you zoom in and use the scope.

And I didn't realize you need this smart

link thing to actually use a smart

targeting system, because I wasn't really

using smart weapons up until this point.

I mean, you could use it without smart

targeting and just use it with the

crosshairs like that. It does zoom in

quite a fair bit, but then what's the

point using a smart weapon? The next

sniper rifle is probably one of the

best-looking sniper rifles. It looks huge.

It looks really cool, actually. Very

high-tech. It's called the Resetsu Tier 5+

Iconic Tech sniper rifle, 300% headshot

damage multiplier. It allows you to charge

up a powered shot if you hold down the

left mouse button like this, and then

it'll charge up a more powerful shot, and

you can do some pretty good headshot

damage by charging up the power shot and

releasing it onto the enemy's face.

And to get this sniper rifle, you don't

buy it. It's actually part of a quest from

the new DLC Phantom Liberty. It's a quest

called You Know My Name or something like

that. And the quest involves you

protecting Elbert Eldris, or whatever his

name is, as he sneaks around. You got to

give him sniper cover, and at the end of

the quest, you can actually take the

sniper rifle and use it for yourself. The

cool thing about this sniper rifle is you

can also penetrate through multiple

enemies when you do a charged shot. So if

you line up the enemies well, you can

actually put off maybe 2 headshots if

Okay, this really random thing happened.

I was fighting this kind of random NPC

boss and she has a sniper rifle schematic

called Breakthrough and it lets you

penetrate walls. So we're gonna try that

out. I don't know how else you can pick up

this sniper rifle, maybe it's sold

somewhere. So it's basically a reskin of

the Nekomata sniper rifle, but it has a

special mod that allows you to penetrate

walls. Now we need to find some enemies

inside of a building, I guess. So I tested

it out on a few enemies trying to shoot

through a wall. It doesn't really do much

damage for some reason, and it doesn't

really highlight the enemy, so you kind of

have to guess where the enemy is. You

don't really know how you're going to be

able to shoot him through the wall if you

can't see him. It's just kind of like

randomly shooting. And even when I did get

a headshot through a wall, I only did like

700 damage, so Unfortunately, I don't

think I can recommend this sniper rifle.

However, I can recommend this sniper rifle

called Sparky, a Tier 5 iconic sniper

rifle where you can pick it up in Dogtown

in the Phantom Liberty DLC. Every time you

do a headshot, it shoots out electric

bolts which can hit enemies nearby.
