My wife is REFUSING to sponsor my spouse visa

Hey, so I'm in Japan now as a tourist. I

don't actually have any kind of visa. I

don't need a visa to enter Japan as a

tourist. They just stamp your passport for

90 days, and they stamped my passport for

90 days, and I can stay until September

unless I go to immigration and extend it

for another 3 months, which is what I'm

going to do. And the reason why I don't

have my spouse visa, even though I should,

is because my wife is refusing to sponsor

me to, to, um, you know, help me get the

spouse visa again. I need her help. I

can't do it by myself. I need her

signature or whatever to, um, get the

spouse visa. And the reason why she's

refusing to help me get a spouse visa

again is because, uh, she's scared, or

she's worried that as soon as I get the

spouse visa, I'm gonna disappear and then

go to some other Japanese city And then

try and hook up with Japanese ladies

again. Oh my God, I can't even begin to

tell you how ridiculous that is. I can't

believe she would even think that I would

be willing to do something like that.

Does she really think that I'm that evil

that I would try and trick and deceive her

so I could stay in Japan just so I could

hook up with a bunch of other ladies?

Does that sound like something I would do?

Yeah, I know I'm no angel, but come on, I

don't think I'm that bad of a person.

Person. And the fact that she would even

suggest that I'm capable of doing

something like that kind of, kind of hurts

me a little bit. So the plan is I'm gonna

go to immigration and I'm going to try and

get my tourist stay extended by another 3

months so I can, so I can stay until

December, just like I did 2 years ago,

2017. I went to immigration and I didn't

even know you could do this. I feel so

stupid because I've been to Japan so many

times and I always thought I could only

stay for 3 months as a tourist.

And I did hear about, um, I did hear

about how you can extend your tourist stay

to 6 months if you're from certain

countries. I think there's a list of about

6 countries including the United Kingdom

that are allowed to extend the tourist

stay until 6 months. One of the countries

is a country called Liechtenstein. I don't

even know how to pronounce it. I don't

even know where it is on the map, and I

never even heard of it until I looked up

that list. Apparently there's a couple

countries that have special relationships

with Japan, and for some reason England is

one of them. I didn't know England and

Japan had any kind of special

relationship. I know England You know, a

couple hundred years ago there was the

English Empire, the British Empire, and

they colonized a load of countries, but I

don't think Japan was one of the countries

that England colonized. So I'm not really

sure why England has a special

relationship and this visa exemption

policy with Japan when countries like

America don't. Anyway, that's one of the

great things about being British. You have

the power of the British passport. You can

go anywhere basically without a visa. I

think you need a visa for Vietnam, but who

wants to go to Vietnam? I don't think I've

talked about this, but I was a bit

surprised when I got to Japan a month ago.

I can't believe I've been in Japan for a

month now. Yeah, it has been a month since

I got here. It doesn't sound like a lot of

time, but I feel like I've been here for

forever. Time is just ticking by so

slowly. I feel like I've been here for a

year. Anyway, I was kind of worried when I

booked my ticket for Japan because I

thought I was gonna get in— I thought I

was gonna get into trouble with the whole,

you know, marriage thing and having my

spouse visa expired. I thought they would

ask me lots of questions, but they didn't.

I just showed up at the airport, got off

the plane, and they just stamped my

passport. This Japanese woman searched my

bag, which was a bit embarrassing. She

took everything out of my bag after I

nicely packed it, including all of my

rubber duckies and my little dentist

mirror. You know, you get those little

mirrors, the circle mirror on the metal

stick that dentists use? I have one of

those in my bag just in case. She took it

out and she asked me, what's this? Are you

a dentist? As if that's supposed to be

funny. I said, no, I just have a little

mirror. So the plan is I need to go to

immigration sometime during this month.

Don't want to leave it too late. And

hopefully the same thing happens as it

happened 2 years ago and they just extend

my tourist stay another 3 months and I can

stay until December. Because if they don't

and they, they say something like, oh,

you're not allowed to stay for 3 months

extra, you have to go in September— if

that happens, then I'm not sure what we're

going to do because I don't think that— I

don't think there's enough time to reapply

for the spouse visa. It takes several

months for the whole application process

to happen, and I've only got 2 months left

in Japan on my current stamp.

So if I run out of time, I'm not really

sure what we're gonna do. I guess I'd have

to go to a different country. Maybe I'd go

to Thailand or something. Maybe my wife's

not sure about it yet. Maybe she doesn't

trust me yet. Maybe she's not sure if I'm

serious about getting getting back

together with her, so she just wants to

wait a little bit longer until she decides

on sponsoring my spouse visa again or not.

I'm a little bit worried because when I

phoned up the Japanese Embassy when I was

in England, the Japanese Embassy that's in

London, and I explained to the guy my

situation, he said to me that my wife

needs to send me— what was it called?

Certificate of Eligibility. She has to get

one of those, send it to me in England,

and then I have to take that to London and

then apply for the spouse visa in London.

And he told me that I should do that

before going to Japan. But then I said to

him, what if I just go without doing any

of what you just said? What if I just go

as a tourist? And he said, if you go as a

tourist, you'll be allowed back in as a

tourist. And then I asked him, what if I

entered as a tourist and then tried to

reapply for the spouse visa when I'm in

Japan as a tourist? And he didn't say that

it would be impossible to do that. He just

said he wouldn't recommend it, and he said

I should get my visa sorted out before

entering Japan. So I'm a bit worried that

I won't be able to reapply for the spouse

visa in Japan, and I have to go all the

way back to England, reapply for it in

London, and then come all the way back to

Japan. That would just be so silly. I

don't think it would be a problem because

We got married when I was here as a

tourist, and I changed from being

a tourist to being a spouse of a Japanese

national whilst I was here as a tourist.

So I don't see why I won't— I don't see

why I wouldn't be able to do that a second

time. It would make no sense if they said

to me, sorry, you have to go back to

England, apply for it in England, and then

come back here. That'd be so stupid,

wouldn't it? But then when you think about

it, a lot of the rules in Japan are kind

of stupid. I don't know who comes up with

these silly rules and laws that don't make

any sense, so it wouldn't actually

surprise me if they told— if they said to

me something as absurd as that. Can you

imagine if I was actually planning on

running away after I get my spouse visa

renewed and then I started hooking up with

other Japanese ladies? I would have to be

so stupid to even consider doing that

because that's basically breaking the law.

That would be fraud. That would be me

trying to scam my wife. It would make our

marriage a sham marriage because that

would mean that we're not married because

we love each other or want to be together.

It would mean that I married her so I

could get a visa and then run away and

then hook up with other ladies whilst I'm

here on the visa. And then if I made

videos about it, I'd get in so much

trouble. I'd be a sitting duck for her

lawyers if she decided to start— if she

started to— if she decided to start a

case, I would have no chance. I'd have no

defense because I would have basically

just confessed to everything in videos on

YouTube. So no, I'm not that stupid.

Jesus, give me some credit. I'm not that

dumb. So I think I'll be going to

immigration sometime next week.

Hopefully no one recognizes me. I'm a bit

worried that I'll get recognized again

because every time I've been to the

immigration center, I got recognized. I

only went twice, but out of the 2 times I

went, I got recognized 100% of the times

that I went. And that was back in March.

The first time was in 2017 December when

I only had about 6K subs, and then the

second time was in March when I had about

20 or 30k subs. I have 90,000

subs now. That's 3 times more, and I've,

I've gotten way more views since then, so

more people would have seen my face and

they would recognize my face. So yeah,

I'm a bit worried that I'll get recognized

again at immigration. Also, my reputation

isn't as great as it was back then. I

don't think people hated me as much as

they hate me now back in March last year

or December 2 years ago. I don't mind

being recognized, it's actually kind of

flattering. I don't mind if it's a nice

person who comes up to me and says hello.

I'm just worried it'll be a very awkward,

not very nice person. There's a lot of

rude people on the internet and on my

comment section, but I don't think that

they would actually be rude like that in

real life. People act very differently on

the internet compared to how they would

act in real life. A lot of people are rude

to me online I don't think they would say

anything rude to me straight to my face.

If you really want to come up to me and

say hi, then it's okay, I guess, but don't

expect me to— don't

expect me to be all chatty because I'm

pretty nervous and shy in real life and

I'm not very talkative and I just wouldn't

know what to say to you if we had a

conversation. It would basically go like

this. You would say, hi, I watch your

channel, and then I'd say, oh, thanks,

and then I wouldn't know what to say next.

Today I have these very tasty looking

noodles, and I've been eyeing these

noodles in the supermarket for a long

time, and I haven't decided to buy them up

until now, mainly because, well, you hear

a lot of things about noodles being bad

for you and making you sick, but I started

to think, well, you only live once, might

as well just enjoy life. So this is me

enjoying life. So on the outside of the

noodle box or pot— it's not really a box—

we have a lovely image of the noodles,

and there's some meat-looking objects,

meaty-looking objects and sweet corn,

some greens. I don't think any of these

things are going to be in there, but we'll

have a look inside. I've got a handy knife

to open it up. One swift incision

to the plastic will open up that package

nicely. So on the top we have this

red packet. It's a red

packet of kokuuma.

I don't know what that means. Rich horse,

maybe? I don't know. And I'm going to take

a wild guess and guess that it's going to

be spicy. That's okay, I can handle spice.

On here we have the leftover residue of

the glue that held the packet on. Doesn't

look very pretty, it's all dried up. Kind

of looks like a different type of

substance. Okay,

so let's look inside of the pot of

noodles. Oh, we do have greens! That's a

surprise. I thought the image was just,

you know, like an image and there wouldn't

actually be greens, but there's actual

greens. If I switch over to the close-up

lens, yeah, we can see there's spring

onions, sweet corns, and meaty looking

objects which look like rabbit droppings

actually, now that I think about it. Get a

close-up on that.

Hopefully when you add the boiling water,

it will plump up and look less like rabbit

droppings. Okay, we have the hot water

ready to be poured in. We're just going to

pour that straight into the mixture,

and that should be enough. Now we're going

to add the red packet of mystery

sauce. Let's see what color it is. I bet

it's orange.

Oh, it's not orange, it's a creamy

transparent goo,

which makes me think that it leaked out

onto the top of the lid, but I think

that's actually glue. There's not much in

this packet actually. I think it's like a

oily substance to make the soup rich and

flavorful. We need a stirring device, so

just poke that down. It smells pretty

good. I can smell the onions, green

onions. And we're

just going to close the lid and leave it

for 3 minutes as it says on the packaging.

Okay, let's see what's in inside. It's

been 3 minutes, and, uh,

just as I expected, the meat lumps have

plumped up a little bit and everything's

gotten soft. Where's my fork?

It looks quite similar to a beef and

tomato pot noodle back when they used to

put sweet corn into the pot noodle. Now I

don't think they put sweet corn into pot

noodles anymore. For some reason they

stopped, maybe to cut back on costs. So

I'm going to go in for a bite and see what

it tastes like.

It's a little bit hot, so we'll leave it.

Okay, let's see what it tastes like.

Give it a bit of a stir around. We want

all of the flavors to be mixed together.

Um,

it's okay.

It's salty and it's rich,

but it just kind of tastes like beef

noodles. There's nothing special about it.

I'd give it 4.7 out of 10.

I'll give it an extra 0.2 points since

it has actual vegetables in it, which is

quite impressive. I'm going to try one of

the meat lumps now.

Hmm, the meat lumps don't really taste

very meaty. The meat lumps aren't very

convincing as meat. It's not really as

good as a Pot Noodle. I'd still give Pot

Noodle an 8.9,

but this isn't bad. It's okay.

It's not a bad cup of noodles.
