Helldivers 2 - NEW BIG Updates! The Community is Turning Toxic!

So Helldivers 2 has been out for a few

weeks now and the toxic community in this

game is starting to get worse. The game is

quickly becoming rampant with cheaters,

hackers, toxic trolls, and all of the

nasty stuff that comes along when a game

becomes very popular. People are now

getting kicked from the Helldivers 2

groups just because they don't have the

meta loadouts for higher difficulty

levels. So just in case you don't know

already, the meta loadout is basically The

Breaker shotgun, the railgun, the shield

generator backpack— those are the weapons

and loadouts you'll see basically everyone

in higher difficulties using. And if

you're not using that, then you're

considered as a weak chain and you need to

be kicked because you're a noob. Choose

the proper loadout. I think this is kind

of a sad turn for the game to take because

it used to be just a bit of fun, you know,

log in, join a game, blow up some insects

with some crazy weapons. But now People

are taking the game way too seriously and

actually kicking people. I've actually

been kicked several times. As soon as I

joined the game, I got kicked and I didn't

know why, but now I think I know why. Is

it because I didn't bring the Breaker

Shotgun? Is it because I didn't have the

Railgun equipped? You know, you can check

other people's stratagems that they have

chosen as they land, and if they check the

stratagems that you have and they're not

happy with it, then they'll just kick you

straight from the group. I think the game

really needs to fix this problem and stop

it so people don't abuse the kick feature.

There's a lot of toxic hosts in the

parties, and they love to just kick people

over the stupidest reasons. So this post

actually says we need to set the standard

for A+ missions. If they're using anything

but the right breaker gun, kick. If they

have the worthless stratagems that are

weak, kick. If they don't have either

railgun or nade launcher, kick. Not using

a shield, kick. This is so dumb. It just

completely takes the fun out of the game

if you've got idiots like this telling

people and dictating to people how they

should play this game just because they

didn't bring the guns that they think are

the best guns. Although I Arguably, the

railgun is kind of the best gun, but after

using it for hours and hours, you get kind

of bored with the railgun and you want to

test out some of the other weapons, but

then you end up getting kicked. I think

the kick abuse is just getting way out of

hand. I think one person shouldn't have

all of the power to be able to dictate who

gets kicked and who doesn't get kicked.

It should be a vote to kick. If someone

doesn't like you, then they should

initiate a vote to kick, and if the other

members also agree, then you get kicked.

If all 3 people agree that you need to be

kicked, then maybe you did do something

wrong. But if only one person is just

randomly kicking people, or for silly

reasons, then that person needs to be

removed from the leadership role. I think

that if you care so much about being

competitive and having the best loadout so

you can ace some kind of level 9

difficulty Helldive mission without dying

at all and having a great time and

everyone in your team being completely

perfect, then that's great and everything,

but you should just make your own team or

maybe play with your own friends if you

have any friends, or maybe join some kind

of Discord server where pro players are

looking to team up and use only the

railgun and only the breaker shotgun and

only the shield. But if you're going to

join a match with randoms and then get all

upset because they're not using the things

that you think they should be using, then

you shouldn't be joining random quick

matches. You should just try and make your

own team with people who are like-minded.

People who join quick match, they just

want to relax, have some fun. Maybe they

came back from work, maybe they just

finished studying or some school, and

they've got a few hours to just play some

video games and have some fun, have a

laugh. And then now they're just getting

randomly kicked by some dickhead who is

having a power trip over who has the right

guns or not and then just kicking them for

no good reason. I think people like that

in that post are just going to suck the

fun right out of this game, and they're

gonna make it so casual players are not

gonna want to play this game anymore

because they can't even find a match where

they don't get harassed for not using the

correct loadouts and the correct

stratagems. We also have news that there

could be a new leak that someone found

out that there's gonna be a new race in

the game called the Illuminati enemies and

new stratagems. The person who found this

leak found it by going into the files of

the game, and they found these notepad

kind of text. So there's a post on

Reddit saying unused stratagems in game

files. A few days ago, I saw someone

asking if someone already datamined the

game. And while watching Starship

Troopers, I thought to myself, yeah,

sure, why not? I'm no expert on this

whatsoever, and at first the data in the

game files seemed to be encrypted, but the

further I scrolled, the more plaintext I

found. And when I saw the Illumination

flare in the files, I thought I'd share

the other ones that are not in the game

with you currently. I actually found a lot

of unused stuff. So this guy keeps going

on and on, blah blah blah blah blah.

Basically, he just found a bunch of text

in the game files that reveal some of the

upcoming changes to the game. A new

faction. We've got a new faction, the

Illuminati, which sounds like some kind of

ethereal glowing alien thing. Adepts,

ghouls, illusionists, fire projectiles,

can force choke victims, obelisk fire,

outcasts, pathfinders, summoners. So they

sound like some kind of magical ethereal

race. To be honest, this sounds kind of

rubbish. I think the robots and the big

bugs were really cool, but this kind of

Illuminati ethereal magical summoner kind

of enemy sounds really lame and pants. I

wish they went for something like zombies

or vampires or demonic hordes,

or I don't know, something more from like

Warhammer 40K, maybe orcs, maybe some kind

of advanced intelligent alien life form,

but this Illuminati race sounds kind of

silly. There were lots of other leaks,

like medic packs, other shoulder-mounted

things, other nuclear weapons. Lots of new

things coming in the game, new stratagems

that seemed to be leaked in the game

files, which is kinda weird they would

just put them there for people to find.
