I got ATTACKED on the Street

Hi, so it's been a while since my last

video. Actually, I think it's the longest

I've gone without uploading since I

started the channel. It's been 7 days,

and that's because I've kind of been a bit

busy trying to get my new Airbnb sorted

out. And I don't want to show the place

because if you saw my last video, I got

banned I talked about how I got banned

from Airbnb, probably because I was doing

OnlyFans in the Airbnbs. Anyway, I managed

to make a new account and I used a fake ID

to, um, get it approved. So I don't really

want to get in trouble and get banned on

this account as well. And the last week

has just been pretty stressful because I

really liked this place. It looked good,

it had a good price. It's not in a very

good neighborhood, which is probably why I

got attacked on the street by some weirdo,

which I'll get into in a minute. And I

finally moved in, even though I was

expecting to be able to move in last week

on Friday. It's now Wednesday.

The problem with this place is it's just

not really ready to be lived in. They're

still working on it, and even though I

moved in today and they told me it was

completely finished and fine to live in.

It's not. The hot water is not working and

the heating is not working, and they still

haven't finished some bits. And they said

they're coming back tomorrow to try and

fix the hot water and the heating. So I'm

sitting here freezing, sitting on the

kitchen floor, and I can't even have a

shower because there's no hot water. It's

just been, uh, it's been pretty stressful

and I haven't had any time to be alone to

make videos until now. And it— now it's

like 11 PM, so I'm trying to keep my voice

down because I don't know how soundproof

this place is. I can hear footsteps above

and they're pretty noisy. I don't know if

this has anything to do with it, but maybe

this is why there's no hot water, because

this boiler thing is blinking red. And I

pressed the buttons, but nothing happened.

And these pipes, aren't they supposed to

be hot? All these pipes are cold, and I

don't think it would be a good idea to

start touching or switching these

switches. So I guess I'll just wait for

him to come back and fix this as well.

It's just really frustrating because all I

want to do is get my own place that

doesn't cost $3,000 a month.

Like those other places I stayed in. And I

want to start living my life making videos

in my own home without having to move to a

different place every 2 weeks. That's all

I wanted. And I guess I just have to be

patient with this place because it is nice

and it is good. They've done a good job

renovating it. It's just little things

like the heating and the water and

it's still a bit messy here and there.

They have to finish up things. So on

Monday, I got attacked by this crazy

person on the street in broad daylight

because they said I could come and move in

on Monday. So I brought all my things and

my bag ready to move in, and I got here

expecting everything to be finished and

for it to be nice looking. And I get here

and is a complete mess. There's about 6

guys banging and fixing stuff and doing

DIY finishing touches, and there's boxes

everywhere, there's tools everywhere. The

sofa is lying on the floor, not even out

of its box yet. And the owner is here as

well, and she said they'll be finished in

a few hours. So I thought, really, you're

gonna finish all of this in just a few

hours? Anyway, I believed her and I said,

well, I'll just leave my bag here and I'll

go shopping to get some stuff. Maybe I

need some, some towels, some plates,

knives and forks. And I went to the

shopping mall and it's about 6 PM, still,

still bright outside, still lots of people

outside. I went to the shopping mall and

all the shops were closed because this is

Europe and shops close at around 5. This

isn't Japan. You can't go to shops at 10

PM and expect them to be open. I kind of

forgot that I was in Europe, and I, I

don't know why, but I expected the shops

to be open. But anyway, they were not

open, and I left the shopping mall,

and I decided to come back home. And

there's this big busy main road, and I

thought instead of trying to cross the

road, I'll go over the bridge. The walkway

bridge over the road. So I, I climb up the

bridge, cross the bridge, and as I'm

coming down the staircase, this guy

approaches me and starts saying something

in Dutch, and he seems kind of aggressive.

I thought he was just some kind of beggar,

so I said, sorry, I don't understand. And

then he just walks off and goes back to

his car, which is parked. At the bottom of

the steps. And he goes back to his car and

I carry on walking to go home. And then he

starts shouting at me from his car and he

runs back towards me and he grabs me like

this by my collar and

he starts pushing me and he was like

hitting me in the face like this. I

wouldn't call it punching because it

wasn't like a powerful punch. He was just

knocking my chin with his fist.

It wasn't really painful, but it was

really, really scary because he was bigger

than me. His frame was really big compared

to mine. His hands were huge. If my hands

are like this, then his hands were like

that. That was, that was the size

difference. If I had to describe his

physical appearance, he was not white, he

was not black. I don't really know how to

describe it, but he He was brown,

kind of like one of those gangster bad

guy villain characters from Breaking Bad.

Maybe Middle Eastern or Mexican. I really

have no idea. Or maybe just a mixture of

black and something else. Anyway, he was

really scary and he was yelling and

screaming at me in Dutch. I had no idea

what he was saying. And there was this

white guy and a woman who walked past us,

and I called out to the white guy, help!

And he didn't really do anything. So I

tried asking him, what is this guy yelling

at me? What is he saying? And then the

white guy says, he thinks you threw stones

at his car from up on the bridge.

Obviously, I didn't throw any stones. Can

you imagine me throwing stones at a car?

Why would I want to do that? Why would I

be doing that? So I turned to the guy

who's still grabbing me like this and

pushing me. I tried explaining to him that

I wasn't throwing any stones and it wasn't

me, but he didn't understand. And he

carried on shouting at me in Dutch. And

then he pushed me to the ground. He was

holding me like this. And then he put his

leg behind my legs and pushed me over.

And I'm lying on the ground like this.

And he's still shouting at me. I thought

he was gonna beat the crap out of me. I

was really scared. Thankfully, he stopped,

and after he finished shouting, he walked

off back to his car. And I got up,

and the white guy asked me if I was okay.

And as you can imagine, obviously I didn't

try to fight back because this guy was way

bigger than me. He was really aggressive.

He could have been crazy. He could have

been carrying a knife. You don't know what

these people are capable of. So I really

don't think it would have been a good idea

to try and punch him in the face because

he would have just punched me back 10

times harder. So I just lay on the ground,

you know, trying to get him to calm down,

but there was nothing I could do because

he didn't even understand what I was

saying. And I didn't call the police

because I didn't really feel like they

would do anything. He didn't really— he

didn't really hurt me. He just pushed me

about. It didn't really seem like a really

serious thing, even though it was very

scary. So I got up. I said thanks to the

white guy. Thanks for nothing, I guess.

And I start walking back to my home, and

then the crazy guy is following me

in his car, and he stops the car next to

me, pulls up over— pulls up next to me,

and he opens the window and starts waving

at me to come over. And he carries on

shouting at me. I don't know what he was

saying, but then he starts filming. He

gets his phone like this and he's, he's

filming me. And the only word I could

understand was police. So I was guessing

he was saying, I'm gonna show this to the

police. So he was 100% convinced that I

was throwing stones at his car. Now the

white guy said Um,

he was saying his kid said he saw

you throw stones at his car. And in the

car, in the passenger seat, there was a

very young child, maybe 8 or 9 years old,

so his son, I guess. And the kid was

laughing the whole time. The whole time

his dad, or this guy, was screaming at me

and attacking me, this kid was sitting

there laughing next to him. I tried

saying, sorry, it wasn't me, I didn't

do anything, and I gave him a

€20 note. I look— I went into my pocket

and I just took out any money I could

find. I gave him this €20 note, which is

about $20, I guess, and he just took it

and drove away. And you might be

wondering, why did I give him money? He

didn't ask me for money. I gave him money

because because he was convinced that

I threw a stone at his car, and he was

completely mental, and he was so angry at

me, and his, his face was like— the

rage had just taken over him, like this

animalistic rage was just controlling him.

And I thought giving him money might calm

him down. I can't think of anything else

that could calm him down. I couldn't run

because my joint pains were flaring up

again, so running was not an option and he

could just chase me down with his car. I

guess I could have called the police. I

guess I could call the police now, but I

don't know if it's a good idea. People I

talked to, they said that I should call

the police, but I don't even remember what

the guy looks like. I, I didn't catch his

license plate on his car, and I don't

really feel like the police would do

anything just because he grabbed me and

pushed me over. It's not really an

extremely serious case.

And even if the police did come and arrest

him, how, how long would he be in jail?

He wouldn't even be sent to jail, would

he? Maybe a few nights he would get locked

up, and then if he sees me again, he's

going to be even more pissed at me for

getting him locked up. And he might live

in this area, he might drive past again

and see me and then remember that I got

him in trouble with the police, even

though he thinks that I'm in the wrong

because he's convinced I threw stones at

his car, and he would just be even more

angry, and you don't know what else he

would do. These people out there are

crazy, and some of them are not even

scared of the police or the law. They lose

their temper, the animalistic rage takes

over, and it's like they're not even human

anymore. It's like they just turn into,

into animals, and it's just not really a

good idea to mess with them, I think.

Especially when you're like me and you're

not very big and you have absolutely no

fighting experience. I have never had an

experience like this. Last time someone

attacked me was when I was in secondary

school, when I was a kid. In my entire

adult life, I have never been attacked

like that before. It was, it was really

terrifying and I was pretty upset.

For a couple days. It's been, it's been 2

days now, so I guess I'm over it. I'm not

really that— I'm not really crying over it

anymore, but I was pretty depressed and

upset and shocked and traumatized by the

whole experience. Even now I'm kind of

scared to go outside and go shopping.

Some people did warn me that this area of

Rotterdam is a bit dangerous.

Can you hear that? Someone upstairs is

stomping so loudly.

Yeah, so some people did warn me that this

area was dangerous, and obviously I'm not

going to go out at night, and I thought

it'll be fine if I just went out at 6 PM

on a busy street where there's lots of

traffic and lots of people. I really

didn't expect to get Nearly beaten up over

what? Even if I was throwing stones at his

car, how, how can you be

so angry and nearly hit someone

and knock them over just because you think

they threw a stone at your car? Maybe if

it was a massive brick, I would

understand, but you know, he probably

thought it was a tiny little stone that I

was just chucking off the edge. Which I

wasn't. Maybe because I look— maybe

because I kind of look like a teenager.

Maybe he thinks I look like a teenager and

he thought I was just a kid messing

around. But I'm a 31-year-old grown man,

an adult. As if I'd be throwing stones

at random cars. And then even if I did

throw the stone, I wouldn't be walking

towards the car that I just threw it at,

I'd be running away. I'd be walking in the

opposite direction of the car, not walking

towards it in a casual manner. So this

guy has no brains, terrible judgment,

believes his giggling 8-year-old kid.

This is, um, I think this is a pretty

dangerous thing when parents just blindly

believe anything their kids say.

You can't just believe what an 8-year-old

kid says. They can be so mischievous.

They can just make up anything for a joke

or a prank, and you're just gonna blindly

believe what your 8-year-old kid says.

Scary. You know, this is exactly the

reason why this channel is called Hiding

in My Room, is because I don't leave— I

don't leave my room. I don't go outside.

For this exact reason. The world is full

of crazy psycho people who have

problems. They have serious issues and

they're dangerous, and you just never

know. You could just be walking down the

street going to a shop and they could ruin

your life. They could ruin your day just

because they've got something wrong with

them in the head. And the only way you can

avoid them is by staying inside.

And I thought I was being silly, you know,

locking myself up inside, refusing to go

out, spending all day long inside.

I thought I was being too paranoid. I was

worrying about nothing. And I

step outside for maybe just half an hour

when when every single day I've just been

hiding inside, and then this one time that

I step out for like half an hour,

I bump into this guy who nearly beats me

up because he thinks I threw stones at his

car. What are the chances? If I was just 5

seconds slower, his car

would have passed me before I got down to

the bottom, and none of that would have

happened. The chances of what happening—

the chances of what happened happening are

just so slim, it's crazy.

I kept replaying the situation in my mind

over and over again, thinking about things

like, what if I called the police and he

grabbed my phone and smashed it? What if I

tried to run and I accidentally ran into

traffic? Well, what if I looked different?

What if I was a 6-foot-tall guy? Would he

have messed with me if I was bigger? And

tougher looking. Maybe because I look like

a nerd and I don't look tough or

strong, I look weak. Maybe I'm an easy

target. What if, what if I wore my GoPro

and I filmed the whole thing? Would he

have backed off? I don't know. I kept

replaying the situation, asking myself,

what if this and what if that? And what if

I kneed him in the balls? What if I

punched him? Would he have backed off or

would he have been even more angry?

There's no way I'd have the guts to even

punch anyone in the first place, let alone

him. You should have seen him. He looked

like, like an absolutely crazy person

from Breaking Bad. So yeah, I am

pretty scared. I'm even more scared now to

go outside than I was before, and I'm

trying to think about how I can overcome

this. I have to get food. I have to go

food shopping, and my plan is to go maybe

during midday when there aren't many

people around and to maybe wear my GoPro

and just film everything when I'm outside

in case I need to use it as evidence. It

was a really scary experience, and I don't

think I've ever been that scared Since

I can't even remember the last time I felt

that scared for my, for my safety and my

life. I felt so powerless and defenseless.

There was nothing I could do to stop this

guy. He was just completely overpowering,

overpowering me. I was defenseless, and

it's just weird. Like, why was he doing

it? Why was he picking on me when I'm so

much smaller than he is and I can't even

defend myself? Over what? Just some

stones. It's just absolute craziness.

Yeah, it's been a pretty stressful week.

I still haven't— I still don't have this

apartment completely finished. I don't

even have hot water. I don't even have

heating. I'm gonna be freezing tonight.

And nearly got beaten up in broad daylight

in Rotterdam, which is supposed to be one

of the safest most civilized places in

Europe, but I guess not.

Yeah, so that's what I've been up to this

week. I'm just looking forward to this

place being finished. I can't wait until I

have hot water and heating and everything

to be finished and sorted, and for

mechanics and workers to stop coming in

and doing stuff whilst I'm supposed to be

here, and just get back into my daily

routine of making videos and playing
