It's really annoying. I never said anything about not being happy here or not wanting to live here.

She's not wrong though. I do kind of want to live in Japan. If I had to choose between living in Japan and Thailand, I mean, I'd much rather live in Japan. It's just a more interesting country. Thailand's just a bit boring, isn't it? The only thing interesting about Thailand would be ladyboys. That's what everyone keeps going on

about. Anytime you mention Thailand, the number one thing people say is, oh, ladyboys,

and oh, ping pong show. It's just like stupid, childish stuff.

But then what's so interesting about Japan? Nothing really. It's just special for me, I guess. If I was a billionaire, where would I live? Japan. Japan's the best place to live.

It's just in my mind, Japan always has made it really difficult to get a phone contract or SIM card?

Yeah, I prefer Osaka over Tokyo because I don't know why. Tokyo is just a bit grim, isn't it? It's a bit bland, bit boring. I can't believe it's going to be 3 years since I went to Japan.

You can easily get an eSIM. How? I've only started seeing these eSIM things recently. What are they? It's kind of stupid, isn't it, having a SIM card Surely all this can be done digitally over the internet.

At this point, you should be a Japan expert. Well, I haven't been there for 3 years, and usually when I go to Japan, I just got pocket Wi-Fi. Actually, the first 5 or 6 times I went to Japan, I didn't even get internet because I was broke. Couldn't afford to get pocket Wi-Fi or SIM cards or phone

contracts. I had to rely on the guesthouse internet, and then if I needed internet outside, had to go into 7-Eleven.

It's always been like an expensive expense to get internet in Japan. It feels like a luxury.

Also, getting a taxi always felt like a luxury. I never got taxis in Japan because it just seemed expensive when you can get a train.

I could get pocket Wi-Fi. You order it online, they deliver it to the airport. I've done it before. You pick it up at the airport post office.

But it's like, I can't remember how much it costs, maybe $60 for one month.

I'm zoning out. I don't know what to talk about. It's not a good start. I don't know why I feel so

unfocused right now.

I think the sad thing is People won't really care that much when I'm back in Japan. Too much time has passed.

Did I see Ice and Homeless drama? Yeah, that was weird. I don't know why Homeless started having a go at Ice, saying he's a bad person or whatever.

I saw this channel. He only has 4 videos. He made a video called I Spent 100 Hours in Capsule Hotels in Japan. He got 2 million views.

Makes me want to do something like that. I wonder if I could get some views. The hardest thing about making a video like that would be Making the thumbnail. All the YouTubers, they make the same kind of thumbnail with the capsule hotels, sitting in front of the pod, and it looks kind of futuristic and is glowing orange.

All the capsule hotels I've been looking at don't look like that. They just look like, like a hole, a wooden coffin, like a wooden box.

Where can I find these futuristic-looking capsule hotels?

What's the weather like in Thailand? It's just really hot. It's getting hotter. I think the hot season is approaching.

It was quite nice. I didn't stay the night, I just filmed a video and left,

but I could see myself living in one. It's just kind of expensive. For a whole month, I think it would cost £1,000,

and you do get privacy because it's quite a big— well, it depends. They've got economy class capsule and first class capsule. Economy class is still pretty big, but first class capsule, you get a desk.

Really been stressing out over where to stay.

I can't decide.

I feel like trying to live in a capsule hotel could make a good video if I, if I get a good thumbnail

and I document the experience well. But what do you do? What would I make for the video? Just film myself sleeping in it, going into the shower room, showing what it's like, and then talking about the experience. Maybe complaining about how noisy it is.

A hostel? Isn't that like a guest house?

It's kind of annoying, guest houses. I don't know why. There's just something about guest houses that they're not like professional, like hotels. It's not like you book it and you feel like

you're treated, treated like a customer. At a guesthouse is weird.

I don't know how to explain it well.

A guesthouse is not like a hotel experience.

I feel like they could— it's up to them. They have the power to decide if they let me live there or not. I don't know if they'll do a background check or something.

Because it's like one big house where everyone's living together. It's not like a hotel where everyone just has their own room and keeps themselves to themselves.

I don't really know what I want. I kind of want the privacy and just keeping myself to myself. I want that from a hotel. But then I'm wondering, maybe I would like to Mingle with people,

chat to people. The annoying thing is, if you go to a guesthouse and you just sit there by yourself and you don't really talk to people, people start talking shit about you. I remember one time I was living in a guesthouse and I didn't really feel in the mood to talk to anyone. I was just sitting there

on my own, on my phone, and some guy was like talking crap about me When I was literally right there, he was talking to the Australian guy saying, oh, did you see that guy? He's always on his— who's that guy? He's always on his phone, doesn't talk to anyone. And the Australian guy knows me because we hung

out and had beers. I mean, so what if I want to sit there on my phone and not talk to anyone? Who cares? Why are you moaning about it?

Some— I mean, I used to think the same way. I used to think, why would you come live in a guesthouse if you don't want to talk to people? There were some weird people like that who would never say hi or never try to have a conversation.

Most people live there because they want to make friends and stuff, or practice English, practice Japanese.

You can't live in a capsule hotel, they kick you out. Why?

Why would they kick me out?

I know they make you leave during the day. A lot of capsule hotels say you can't stay from 10 AM to 3 PM. I don't know why they kick people out during the day. Probably to clean the place. But why do they have to kick you out? Why can't they just clean what needs to be cleaned? I

don't need my pod cleaned if I'm in it. But then why would I want to stay in a pod all day? It's just I would like the freedom to wake up when I want to. I might want to wake up after 10 a.m.

It's so hard to plan anything because I don't know what I'm going to do and how long am I going to stay and if I'm going to like it in Japan or not.

If I'm just going to stay a month whilst I get a new Thailand visa,

then maybe I'll just get an expensive apartment. If it's only a month, it's not too bad.

I see a lot of these apartments on Booking.com. They've only got one review and really bad ratings. They look like scams, don't they? I wouldn't book a place like that. 6 reviews, review score 6 out of 10.

What do the reviews say?

Just says it's dirty and damaged. I could book it for like 2 days, see if it's a scam or not, and if it's real, then for longer.

How's the sex with the girlfriend? Uh, it's a bit boring now. I find it hard to get in the mood. We usually do it like once a week or twice a week. Sometimes she tries to initiate it and I have to stop her because I just can't get in the mood. And then she gets upset,

especially after dinner. My stomach feels kind of full and I don't really want to move. I just want to sleep.

I think being separated for a bit would be good for us, because if we've been apart for a few weeks and we go back together again, it'll be fun.

So who saw my PewDiePie video? What did you think? I can't believe it has 17K views. It was nostalgic because it was— it kind of reminded me of the old days. Me giving an opinion on something and then everyone arguing about it in the comments section. You can tell it's a good video with all the debate that

happens. It was quite an even 50/50 split of people agreeing with me, people disagreeing with me, saying I'm an idiot. There were so many comments from these stupid SJW types saying stuff like, oh, it's not even your baby. No one asked for your opinion. It's got nothing to do with you. Are these people stupid? I had this

argument with this stupid girl in the comments section. She said, I'm English, white English, and I grew up in Spain and I didn't have any problems like what you're talking about.

Can you imagine

growing up in Europe as a white person and then having the nerve to say that's anything like growing up Asian in Europe or growing up white in Asia. Why would you have any problems growing up in Europe if you're white? I mean, Spain, I guess they're not really white whites. They're more Hispanic white. But are Hispanic whites

really racist towards white whites? I don't think so.

Why do people think I can't have an opinion and express it just because it's not my baby or has nothing to do with me? Everything in the world has nothing to do with me. It doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on it.

baby there. It's a trending topic. It has something in relation to what I'm interested in, which is life in Japan. I think it's an interesting topic to discuss. If PewDiePie doesn't like it, then he shouldn't have told the world that he's having a baby.

I was wrong on a few points though. I thought if you're born in Japan, then you're Japanese. But apparently you do need to have at least one Japanese parent to be technically Japanese. But the baby will be able to live in Japan. It's just technically he's not a Japanese citizen. I think— I don't know how it would

work then. It would live on like a dependent visa. And then after 5 years, if it— I don't know, after 10 years, if it lived in Japan for 10 years, then it could apply for citizenship and become Japanese.

So it's kind of weird. It'll be born as non-Japanese, but then what is its nationality?

And then after 10 years, it can become a Japanese person. So strange, isn't it?

But who knows, maybe after 2 years they move back to Italy or Sweden,

back to the UK.

How can you be Japanese if you're born in Australia?

I find it funny people starting to wake up to the fact that Japan is a pretty racist country. It's just because the big names like Chris Broad and stuff are starting to complain more about it.

And I think people are starting to realize more and more that Japan is not a very liberal place, even though for some reason very left-wing people seem to love Japan. Like the very soy boy people, left-wing soy boy types love Japan, but they don't know how It's like they love a country that's so against all the things

they believe in, like racial equality and gender equality and being open-minded and LGBT pro. Japan's like very against all these ideas and concepts. I find it kind of ironic.

They're not respectful at all. They literally have signs outside the shop saying no foreigners. They're like one of the least respectful countries in the whole world. They're so close-minded and anti-anything new age. They're a very traditional and old age society where it's like men are at the top, men are in charge of everything. Women Stay at home

because the Philippine return flight is like £360. My direct one-way ticket was £300. Plus, if I really need to get an outbound ticket, I'll get a direct ticket to Jeju Island or something, which is like £80. So it'll work out the same, won't it?

I don't know if I actually need an outbound ticket to Japan. It's a bit scary going there because I feel like they're gonna question me. Uh, where is your outbound ticket?

Do I still have social anxiety?

Yeah, I just try to avoid talking to people now. I've given up trying to overcome anxiety. I just try to find ways to, to work around it. So, for example, there's a gym downstairs, but you have to sign your name, which I don't want to do. So I only go there with my girlfriend, but she ordered me

some dumbbells, got them yesterday, so now I don't even have to go to the gym. The problem is the maximum weight on the dumbbells she got me only goes up to 11 kg. I want 15 kg.

The bar isn't long enough to put on more weights, and the weights aren't heavy enough. The maximum weight of each weight is, I think, 2.5 kg. So I put 4 2.5s and then 2 1.5s, and it comes out to 11 kg. But it's still pretty heavy. I can't even do 10 reps on 11 kg. But I really—

my goal is I want to really lift 20 kg eventually. I can only just lift 15 kg.

This place looks nice. 1,200, 20 square meter entire apartment. It's got a kitchen, bathroom, and it looks really modern and clean inside. It's got a desk.

Do pull-ups? I don't have anywhere to put a pull-up bar. I like doing bicep curls because it's not easy, but it's comfortable. Doing push-ups It's not comfortable. You gotta get down on the ground. My head goes— my face goes all red because all the blood goes to my head. I don't like doing push-ups because it's not comfy.

Bicep curl is comfortable. You just pick it up, lift it up and down. There's no hanging or squatting. I hate squatting as well.

The problem with the guest house is I can't make videos, so I'd be very restricted. If there's a trending topic like the PewDiePie thing where I need to make a video, I need my studio, my YouTube studio. I need to set up a tripod. I need my good lighting. I need my mic. Doing that outside, that would

be very difficult. I need good weather. I need to find a park where it's quiet. Can you imagine me sitting in a park making a video? There's just no way.

If I did it in the guesthouse room, I'd feel very low on confidence.

Well, I want to hear an experience. I want to hear someone's experience. If you are a minority ethnic race who grew up surrounded by 99% white kids or kids who were different to your ethnicity, Did you have a happy childhood? Yes or no? Because from what I've heard and seen and experienced myself, most people don't have a

very happy childhood growing up as the only white kid or the only Black kid or the only Asian kid in the whole school, the whole classroom.

When I was at school, there's one black kid, but he was really big and he was kind of cool because he spoke the street, the street lingo. So people respected him and wouldn't pick on him because he was big. But I don't know if he has

personal issues and felt sad looking different to everyone else.

There was one other Asian kid, but he was also kind of cool and people liked him.

But I was not cool. People didn't like me. So that's probably why I got bullied so much, not because I was not white. There was also a Chinese girl. People were kind of racist to her. They would— the guys would chat and they'd be like, oi, would you smash What's her face? And then he would say, oh

no, she's Asian. There was like a racial thing against her.

Like it was embarrassing to admit that you want to have sex with a Chinese girl. People would think— people would laugh at you. You wouldn't be cool if that's what you said.

But a lot of the comments were saying stuff like, oh, I'm Hispanic and grew up in America and I was fine. Yeah, but they probably had like a Hispanic community and they weren't the only Hispanic kid at school because America is very mixed. You got different minority groups, but then you got minority communities. There that stick together

and support each other.

I was very isolated in the English countryside. 99% of people were white. I didn't have fellow Asian friends. There wasn't like an Asian kid community.

The only other Asian kids I knew was Victoria and her sisters, my mum's friend's kids.

There's a channel, Takashi in Japan. He does street interviews. He's got a video where he interviews white people and non-Asian people who were born in Japan and grew up in Japan. And they all say the same stuff like, oh, I went back to my home country, my parents' home country to see if I fit in there. But

because I grew up in Japan, I didn't really fit in with the culture over there. So I feel at home in Japan. But because I don't look Japanese, I don't feel like I belong here. Like they've all got these weird identity problems.

One woman, she had Afghan parents. She was born in Japan, speaks fluent Japanese. And then she said when she was working in customer service, customers would avoid speaking to her because they would assume she doesn't speak Japanese.

Japanese people would just be scared of you or assume you don't speak Japanese or they would go towards other Japanese-looking staff. But these days you see a lot of Indian people working in convenience stores. I was watching, watching Ice's streams. Every time he goes into like a Family Mart in Tokyo, there's at least a couple Indians there.

Actually, I took a screenshot and they were all Indian in the Family Mart. 3 of them Indians. I find that really weird when I'm buying something because they probably think I'm Japanese, so they speak to me in Japanese, but I know they're Indian, so I want to speak to them in English,

but they insist on speaking to me in Japanese. It's weird. They might not even speak English. A lot of these people from like Bangladesh, Nepal, they move to Japan. They don't know how to speak English either. They just learn a bit of Japanese so they can get a job there.

So you end up having to communicate with foreigners in Japanese because I think Japan is starting to realize that they're gonna have to diversify the population a little bit because there's not enough young Japanese people being born. So I think they're starting to open the doors a little bit to low-skilled foreigners to fill in these convenience store

job roles.

I think it's a bit sad.

They have no choice. It's either you diversify a bit more or your society is going to age and fail because it's not sustainable. As much as the Japanese want to preserve their culture

and Japanese-ness, I think they won't have a choice after a while. They're going to have to do something.

There's just so much— there's so many benefits that come with bringing in cheap labor from overseas,

but then there's also a lot of cons to that as well, which we're seeing in Europe.

I think they did because they always just spoke to me in fluent Japanese, expecting me to understand it,

which I did. But when I spoke back, they realized, oh wait, he's not native because my Japanese is not very fluent.

Yeah, Han Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, they all look the same, don't they? That's because they are very closely related genetically. There's not much diversity. They look very similar. They've got the fair skin, the slim nose. You look at Korean people's noses, Japanese people's noses compared to native Thai noses or Filipino noses, they're very slim. And then Southeast Asians

have wider noses, rounder noses, because the air moisture and level of humidity is different in Southeast Asia,

which shapes the human nose. The human's nose is shaped depending on the atmosphere. So you've got pointy, big-nosed Europeans because they live in cold climates. The bigger nose It warms up the air before it enters the body. And then in hot countries, they got flatter noses to dissipate the heat before it enters the body. Same with lips.

Thin lips to preserve body heat, fat lips to evaporate body heat.

It's like dolphins and whales, not technically fish, but because they live in the same environment as fish, fish, their bodies evolved to look like fish because that's what's most efficient.

All this race stuff. Everyone just looks the way they look like because of the environment they evolved to adapt to. So it's just adapting to your environment. You get dark skin because you're in a hot country. You get pale skin because you're in a cold country.

But humans are stupid and they think, oh, white this and black that,

as if it's some unique thing to being human that some are black and some are white. I mean, literally every living species have different variations of fur color, facial structure. It's nothing unique to humans.

Animals don't have this problem because they just stay in the area that they, that they were born in.

And then whenever you introduce

foreign animals into a new area, they usually devastate that area. Like the introduction of, I think, the gray squirrel into red squirrel environments. I think the gray squirrels was more aggressive or better at finding food, and then the red squirrels' numbers go down.

Well, they introduced that wild boar into parts of America where it shouldn't be. And then it just, like, devastated the area, had too many babies. And now they pay people to shoot them down.

Maybe things should just stay where they were supposed to be living in instead of moving around.

Saw a good movie last night. It was called Voyager. They create about 20 test tube babies in a bag, and they're supposed to go on a ship that's going to a very far away planet that's going to take multiple generations to reach the planet. So they put all these kids on a spaceship with one adult who's in

charge of them, and they're drugging the kids with this blue liquid to keep them docile and passive. But then 2 of the kids— they're like teenagers at this point, so they're pretty adult-sized— 2 of the kids stop drinking the blue liquid, and then all these natural human instincts come back, like sexual desire, aggression.

And one of them goes kind of crazy, and then he kills the leader guy, gets him electrocuted when he's out in space doing a repair. And then they all stop taking the blue thing, and it just descends into chaos and tribalism. And then one of the crazy kids takes control, and he's like spreading this rumor that there's

an alien on the ship. To instigate fear. And then all the other kids start grouping up, siding with him instead of the good guy, who's the actual second in command or whatever.

And then the evil guy uses this fear of an alien to rally the other kids behind him. And then they go hunting for the good guy and the few kids who stuck with the good guy. And then the bad guy wants to like rape this attractive girl, keeps trying to touch her up. It's a pretty good movie.

Has anyone seen it? It makes you think that even with all this technology and advanced technology and spaceships and stuff, humans are still humans and still stupid. Tribalistic, and then you can manipulate crowds of people by getting them scared over something that doesn't even exist, like an alien.

Yeah, it's on Netflix. It's got that actor Bran Stark, the kid who played him, but he's just like a little minor side character in this movie.

It's got a nice ending. They end up kicking the bad guy out of the airlock, and then they stop fighting. They have kids, and they create the next generation that reaches the planet.

I like movies like that. I like sci-fi realistic movies but also have like a human psychology element to it. I don't like horror because it's just stupid. I don't like comedy because it's not funny.

It's okay if it has a bit of horror, but not pure horror.

A touch of horror with thriller vibes. And a lot of scientific stuff. My favorite type of movie.

It's kind of a stupid idea though. Why would you send 30 kids on a ship and expect them not to go crazy? If it was so important for them to take this drug, they should have put it in the air system or something.

It seems like a bad idea. You should have had more adults on the ship mentoring them. You only had one adult, and if he got killed, then they'll just— they'll do whatever they want because there's no one to keep them in check. I bet Elon Musk would laugh if he saw that and be like, why would you

do that? Why don't you have like a team of adult scientists who are then raising the kids on the ship and make sure the kids growing up not into crazy people?

What Japanese food do I want to eat first? I don't think there's any Japanese food in Japan that they don't sell here in Thailand, so I'm not really craving anything. We've got sukiya here, sushi, ramen places.

Fishing is so dumb. Golf is hit like a stupid ball into a little hole. People do a lot of stupid things, don't they?

audience that actually donates. So he's got like 60,000, 70,000 viewers

in his remaining community. If only 10% are donating, it's like 6,000 or 7,000. Pounds. I mean people. 6,000 people donating is quite a lot.

Divide that by $85,000.

$85,000 divided by 6,000 people. On average it means $14 per person. I guess it's not that unbelievable. If he had only a community of 5K people, 10% of whom are donating. It's like 500 people raising nearly $100K. That would be insane.
