GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!

Guess what? I got some good news today. So I woke up this morning,

I woke up this morning and I opened Gmail. And I had a nice, a nice email from YouTube saying that the video that got striked has been unstriked and they've, they've changed it to age-restricted. So I'm not getting any ads, ad revenue from it, but they took away my community strike and I got live streaming back on

my YouTube channel, which is great.

So if you don't remember, about 10 days ago I got a community strike Someone flagged one of my really old videos all the way back in January. I made this video where I got a sausage and I pretended it was my penis and I cut it in half with a pair of scissors. And then I got some

ketchup and I put it on my hands and I was pretending it was blood. It was just like a dumb silly skit that I did to make fun of some of the hate comments that I was getting. And some sad loser, he went all the way back to my videos in January I guess he was checking all

of my old videos to see if he could flag any for violence or for inappropriateness, and he managed to flag this video for violence. And YouTube, they actually gave me a community strike saying that this video was against the terms and policies, and it was an automated strike. They didn't even check to see if the video was

against, against the policies. I appealed the strike straight away. And 9 days later, 10 days later, I finally got a response. It says they reviewed the video and they just age-restricted it. I still don't understand why it got age-restricted just, just because I cut a sausage in half. That's still kind of extreme. Anyway, I got the community

strike removed from my channel, which I'm really happy about. I was so worried that, that I'd get more community strikes and my channel might get terminated, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen for now. What was that? After I got the community strike, I was so shocked. I didn't think something like that would happen, so I

went through all of my old videos checking them, and I just had so many old videos that I couldn't remember what I put into those videos. So just to be safe, I decided to set all of my old videos to private. I set about nearly 100 videos to private, so if you wanted to see those Unfortunately, you

can't see my old videos anymore thanks to those idiots who are false flagging my videos and trying to get my channel terminated. They ruined everything. I was so worried. I was worrying every day after I got the community strike that I would get more strikes and my channel would get deleted. It's just such a relief to finally

get that email saying that everything's okay and I got live streaming back on my YouTube. Channel, which I don't really care about anymore because I've been live streaming on Twitch, and live streaming on Twitch is so much better than live streaming on YouTube. And I have about 270 followers on Twitch now, which is great. All the people

who enjoyed watching my live streams— enjoyed watching my live streams, I think the most of them, the majority of them, have come over to Twitch and they're following me there now, which is great. I'm really happy about that. Twitch is just so much better than YouTube because number one, let's talk about donations. You can do Super Chats

on YouTube, but YouTube takes something like 30 to 50% of the Super Chat. So if you donate to me $10, I only get about $5, which is a complete rip-off. And I didn't actually know about this, but It's just, it's so annoying because if you donate to someone, then you want that person to get all the money.

I don't think any of you want YouTube to get your money when you donate to me. You want me to get that money, don't you? And I want to get all the money as well. I don't want YouTube taking 50% of it. I know it's their platform and everything, but they can't take credit for everything. If I

can understand it's okay for them to take 50% of ad revenue. But donations, I feel like I should get at least 90% of the donation. They can take like 5% or 10%, then that's okay. But 30 to 50%, that's just way too much. Also, I recently found out that you can't even do a Super Chat donation if

you're using an iPhone or an iPad. You can only do it on Android or on your computer. And I know the majority of my viewers are using Android devices because that's what it says on the analytics, but there's about 37%—

when I checked analytics, it says around 37% of my viewers are using iOS iPads, iPhone devices. So those people, they, they didn't even have the option of sending me a Super Chat in the first place. But on Twitch, everything's done on PayPal. I have my PayPal linked to my Streamlabs account, so when people donate to me on

using PayPal, I get, I get all the money. Well, not all of it. PayPal take a small percentage, maybe 5% or something like that, but it's nowhere near as bad as YouTube taking away nearly half of it. Also, anyone can send a PayPal donation. You don't need to be doing on Android. You can do it on an

iPhone, on an iPad. So for donations, Twitch is 100% better than YouTube in every way. Also, you can do more things on Twitch. It's not the donations, it's not just the donations that are better. You can do really cool things on Twitch, such as you can have a donation goal overlay on the live stream. You can, you

can have a donation ticker. You can have all these charts and overlays that go on top of the livestream. You can have these alerts, for example, if someone follows you on Twitch, you can, you can make it play a custom sound or custom GIF animation. Same with donations, you can have a separate unique animation and sound that

plays when you get a donation. And I don't think you can do— what's that noise? I don't think you can do those things when you're livestreaming on YouTube. Also, people have been saying that the video quality is so much better when I stream on Twitch. When I streamed on YouTube, lots of people were saying things like, it's

pixelated, it's blocky, this is like watching a Minecraft livestream. But ever since I started streaming on Twitch, people have been saying that the video quality is really good and, and it's not pixelated all of the time. So, um, even though I got streaming back on YouTube. I don't think I'm going to be streaming anymore on YouTube. I'm

going to stay on Twitch for livestreams, so if you're interested in watching me livestream, it's twitch.tv/danielhimr. I've always wanted to start Twitch. I've always been tempted to make a Twitch channel, but I've never really had a good reason to start Twitch and do livestreaming on Twitch when I had YouTube available to me. And I was kind of

lazy. And the community strike, it just, it kind of forced me to finally make the move over to Twitch. And I'm so glad that I did because it's kind of scary having all of my eggs in one basket. I think it's very risky if you're doing YouTube to have all of your, all of your income coming from

one place. It just makes more sense and it's a lot safer to, to diversify and have multiple streams of income coming in from different, different websites, different platforms. And I feel a lot safer now, now that I'm starting to build a following on Twitch as well. It means that if I do get terminated on YouTube, then it's

not the end of the world. I can rely on Twitch as well. So actually, I think things turned out pretty well. I don't regret getting the community strike. I think that thanks to the community strike, I finally made the move over to Twitch and And I'm really glad that I did. Yesterday I felt so depressed because of

the whole girl coming over my— coming over to my room and then canceling on me. I felt so down and depressed, and it, it felt so much better to talk about it and then have a good night's sleep. I slept for about 12 hours, and I woke up today and I felt, I felt so much better. It's

really nice having a friend like you that I can talk to. When I'm feeling down, and, and it's nice that you're supportive and you listen to me rant about these things, even if they do sound really irrational and they make me sound like a complete idiot. It just feels so much better when you let it all out

instead of bottling it up inside of you. So I just wanted to say thanks for being there for me yesterday and listening to me whinge. I'll try not to be too depressed all of the time. I feel a lot better today, like I said. It can be very difficult to find a good friend who can just listen

to you, listen to the problems that you're having in life without being judgmental or without criticizing you or without giving you advice when you didn't really ask for advice. Sometimes you just want to talk about the things that are troubling you without, without being judged or without having advice shoved in your face. Sometimes you just want to

talk and and you just want to be listened to. You don't want someone criticizing everything you're doing when you're feeling down and depressed. And there was more good news, not just the email from YouTube. I also have a good feeling about tomorrow. So, the girl that was supposed to be coming over to my place, she cancelled on

me yesterday, but she said that she can come over on Friday, which is tomorrow night. And I have a good feeling about this. I don't think she's going to cancel a second time. What are the chances of her cancelling a second time? I don't imagine— I can't imagine that happening. Every time I press the record button, a

stupid car comes. I just think it's very unlikely that she'll say that she can't come on Friday as well. I'm pretty sure she won't cancel again. Plus, it's Saturday the next day, so it should be her day off if— that's if she doesn't work on weekends. I know this is going to sound stupid, but I have this

theory that if something negative happens to you then something positive is going to happen to you sometime later. It could be the next day, it could be a few weeks later, but I like to believe that the universe has this way of balancing out negatives with positives. So if something really shit happens to you, then something really

good's going to happen to you sometime in the future. It might not be right away, it might be a bit later, but I like to believe that the positive— something positive will balance out a negative thing that just happened to you. I feel like even if something bad happens to you, then you can get something good out

of it. For example, I got a community strike, I got live streaming taken away from me, and that was devastating, but I got something good out of it. I got a following on Twitch out of that experience, and then yesterday I got cancelled on, and then today I had good news from YouTube about the strike being removed.

I know it's not really related, but I like to think that, that the negatives will be balanced out with positives. It helps me sleep at night. So yeah, I'm feeling optimistic about things. I'm feeling optimistic about tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to spend a nice night watching movies with my new lady friend. Hopefully more people, more of

you will come over to my Twitch channel to watch me livestream. I'm having a lot of fun livestreaming. I think it's a lot more fun than making these kind of videos, but I'm not going to stop making these kind of videos because I know a lot of you enjoy them, and I still enjoy making these shorter 10-minute

videos as well. And a message to my haters: sorry, but you lost this one. I got my strike appealed. You can false flag as much as you want. I might get demonetized here and there, I might get a strike, but They're all getting appealed, they're getting manually reviewed, and then they're being remonetized. I'm not doing anything against

YouTube's rules. I'm not doing anything violent or anything sexual, so the strikes aren't gonna stick. They're gonna get appealed, they're gonna get taken away. So I'm here to stay, guys. You won't be able to get my channel taken down, and I'm not going anywhere. So if you don't like me, if you don't like my content, then you

know where you can go. You can piss off.
