I ruined my marriage again

She really— she really got

rid of my stuff. She said she changed the

locks, but they weren't changed. I knew

she hadn't changed the locks. She's not

here. Everything's gone. My screen,

my monitor, my iPad, my iPhone.

I still have all this stuff here.

I can't take my fish, it's too heavy.

I spent so much time making this tank

nice. I can't believe she got

rid of my stuff.

Okay, so I've got a few things to explain.

I don't even know where to begin. So first

of all, I moved back into my wife's place

a few days ago, and then yesterday,

TkyoSam— you know Sam, the American guy

who has a YouTube channel— he came to

Osaka, so I was out meeting him and we

were hanging out. And whilst we were

hanging out, my wife somehow managed to

unlock my iPad, and she was snooping

around on my iPad whilst I was out, and

she found some questionable things that I

don't really want to tell you. Let's just

say it's pretty bad. And she started

messaging me when I was with Sam, and she

basically said she found the stuff on my

iPad and we're finished.

And then she started sending me pictures

of what she found. And she also said she

threw out all of my stuff again. Well,

she didn't throw them out, she gave them

to her friend to look after. I don't even

know what look after means. Why, why, why

give it to your friend? Are you going to

sell my stuff again? You can't just take

my stuff and then sell it. Do you know

what she took? She took my iPhone, my iPad

Pro, my gaming laptop, my curved monitor,

my gaming mouse, my gaming keyboard. Do

you know how much all of that costs? It's

at least $3,000. I just got back from her

place. I spent the night in the Airbnb

here last night, and then I went to her

place today to try and get my stuff back.

She was saying that she changed the locks,

but I knew she was bluffing because

there's no way she'd get the locks changed

so quickly. So I went there anyway, and I

let myself in because I had a key. She

wasn't there. I looked around trying to

find my stuff. I couldn't find it, and I

was actually thinking of just trashing the

whole place as revenge, but I decided not

to. And then I ended up waiting in her

apartment for about an hour, and then she

finally came back and we had this big

argument. She was angry about the thing

that she found on my iPad, and I was angry

about her stealing my stuff because she

basically stole my stuff. When you take

someone's belongings and you deny them

access to them, it's stealing. So I asked

her to give me my stuff back and she

refused to. She kept saying her friend has

it and she wouldn't let me have it back.

So I felt like, oh, this is a waste of

time. So I, I took my bag, I threw the

apartment key on the floor, and I stormed

out. And I kind of lost my temper and I

kicked the door that goes into the

corridor, and that door is made out of

glass and I accidentally smashed it, and

now she wants me to pay $400 to repair

the smashed door. And I said, fine, I'll

pay the $400 if you give me my stuff back.

I don't mind paying the money because,

yeah, okay, I broke the door. I shouldn't

have done that. I lost my temper, and that

was, that was bad. But I'm so fed up of

her throwing my things away every time we

have an argument. She either puts all of

my clothing into a bag and chucks it out,

she sells my electronics. And this time

I'm not standing for it. I don't want to

have to buy a 3rd gaming laptop or a 3rd

iPad. This is the 2nd time this has

happened. The other time was earlier this

year. And it's not just about the money,

it's the principle. She took my things,

my belongings, my property that I paid

for, that I worked hard to, to earn the

money and then buy, And she gave them away

to her friend to probably sell. I don't

even know what they're gonna do with it.

There's sentimental things on my iPhone

and my iPad. I have videos and photos of

my dad that I don't have anywhere else,

and I can't just replace sentimental

things like that. So I'm trying my best to

try and convince her to give me my stuff

back. But if she refuses to give my stuff

back, I think I'm gonna go to the police

because you can't just do that. You can't

just take someone's belongings that's

worth thousands of dollars. This isn't

just a couple hundred dollars. This is

thousands and thousands of dollars.

Things that I've bought with my own money,

and I have proof that I bought them

because I bought them off Amazon, and

there's the order history page. Sam said

to me that I could go to the police

because technically she's stealing at this

point. It, it is stealing. You can't

really say it's not. And I'm just so fed

up with having to spend so much money

replacing things that she's sold

or thrown away. I know this is all my

fault and I was in the wrong for leaving

that stuff on my iPad that she found,

but this, this doesn't mean it's okay for

her to steal my stuff and then just give

it away to her friend. And you know what

else she did? She took a short video of

the thing she found on my iPad and then

she sent it to my mum, and now my mum's

really angry and disgusted with me. And

then my mum sent it to my sister. My

sister's all freaked out about it as well.

It's so childish and petty of her. First

she takes away my most valuable items,

gives it away to a friend, and then she

tells my mum about it. I took a few of her

things, but she has nothing of value. She

has no electronics, she just has jewelry

and these watches. So I took 2 of her

watches and her Ray-Ban sunglasses in case

she refuses to give my stuff back.

Actually, now that I've calmed down a bit,

I'm, I'm really glad I didn't trash her

place because if I did, she definitely

wouldn't give me my stuff back and I might

get in trouble with the police and I'd

have to pay her a lot of money.
