Samsung Galaxy Z fold 6 - First 5 Things To Do ( TIPS & TRICKS )

Hello, welcome back to another tips and

tricks video for your brand new Samsung

Galaxy Fold 6. So starting off, we've got

this cool way of editing or customizing

the way your S Pen functions. So if you

look at what happens when I click this

button on the screen, it creates this

little radial dial thing with my different

apps that I've selected as shortcuts that

pop up when I press the button. So it

looks pretty cool, I'll show you how to do

that. So what you wanna do is you wanna

download an app called, what is it called,

Good Lock. Yeah, so you see this thing,

it's called Good Lock. You go onto your

Samsung Store. For some reason you can't

find it on the Google Play Store, so you

have to go to the Samsung Store. So it's

just gonna be called Store on your

notification multitasking app thing where

the apps are all located. You gotta go to

Store and then you'll find it there. It's

called Good Lock by Good Lock Labs and

there's loads of things you can do with

this, not just S Pen stuff. So you can do

all kinds of customizations notification

customizations, multitasking

customization, all that kind of stuff,

lock screens, themes. There's tons of

stuff on it that's really interesting. So

you got Good Lock is here, and then

you want to scroll down to get the one

called PenTastic. So this is called

PenTastic, and you've got lots of

different things like different

designs when you press the button. So you

want to go to Settings and enable the

button on the S Pen settings. And you got

this one, you got this one. My favorite is

this one, the circle. We've also got

retro, and you can also do other cool

things like you can change the shape of

the pointer. So by default it's a little

circle. You can change it to an arrow. I

don't know if you can see that. Or you can

change it to a heart. You can make it a

big heart. So now I've got a little heart

which is kind of funny. Got a little

dinosaur. Well, not little, it's massive.

We got a little— I don't even know what

that is. What is that supposed to be?

And you can also do a custom one. So if

you want to like cut your face out and use

your face as a pointer, you can do that.

So I got this little picture of a

Cybertruck that I used. I used the AI

editing thing to cut out the Cybertruck

from this picture. And now I've actually

got a little Cybertruck, Tesla Cybertruck,

as my pointer. So that's pretty funny.

You can put it as whatever you want, I

guess. So if you want to know how to do

that, let's say for example you want this

picture of a Tesla as your pointer, you

want to hold down on it with a finger

until you get this circle thing radiating

out of it. I've already done it, so it's

already dragged it out the picture. So

I've dragged it out the picture like that,

it's removed the background, and now I can

save it as a new image or save it as a

sticker. So just save it as a new image.

I've still got the blue monster thing.

And then go back to Good Lock, and then

you want to, uh, yeah, just go and choose

the cropped out Tesla. And look, now we've

got a little Tesla that pops around. So

that might be annoying or it might be

funny. That's just like something you can

do with the S Pen stylus, which is pretty

interesting. So yeah, we can have a little

Tesla, why not? Look at that.

Oh, where is it? I mean, it's kind of

in the way, so I'd probably not use that

because it'll get annoying. So I think

maybe the pointer is pretty good, or the

circle by default. You can also create a

shortcut, double tap shortcut, and you can

choose what happens when you hold down the

pen button and double tap the screen.

I've set it to create notes, so if I hold

down the button and double tap the screen,

it's going to open up my notes. So that's

a quick way to open up the notes just by

holding down the button, double tapping.

So we can get rid of it, bring it back up,

get rid of it, bring it back up. And you

can change this to open anything, I guess.

You could choose like, um, oh, that's

pretty good, Smart Select. So if I do

double tap, I can now easily just do a

screenshot like that and

then go back. What else would be pretty

useful? I think, hmm,

Smart Select is pretty useful because I do

find myself screenshotting a lot and it's

kind of annoying having to hold down the

lock button and the volume button at the

same time. You need 2 hands, you can't do

that one-handed. You've always got to like

use your middle finger, hold it like that,

and use 2 hands at the same time to

screenshot. It's very cumbersome. So you

could open Settings, the Phone.

Yeah, I guess it's up to you. I think I

will actually change it to Smart Select

because I'd find that much more useful.

So then yeah, this will bring

up If I go back to here, I can

also change the background.

It's weird,

I can change the background of the menu.

Yeah, it's not very useful. So if you

enable a background, when you open the

menu, it'll put a background behind it.

So I chose this picture of me on the

ground. It's kind of silly though, I'd

probably not have a background. And I

don't know what blur does. Oh, it just

burns out the entire screen, which is not

ideal. Yeah, so you got some

apps you can add to the circle bit,

like Screen Write means you can just take

a screenshot of the screen and then you

can draw onto it like that.

Do it again. Yeah, it just basically

screenshots the screen so you can scribble

on the screen. Okay, so yeah, what else

can you do on this? Um, so you've got

Pentastic, got Theme Park creates a

theme, you got Wonderland creates 3D

motion wallpapers, Lock Star creates new

lock screens. I haven't already found

anything else on Good Lock that I really

use. Clock Face lets you put

different clocks on the screen.

Redesign your quick panel UI. Yeah, I

don't really

care about fiddling with this kind of

stuff, but if you want to, you've got

almost unlimited customization.

Notification bars.

Vibration haptic stuff. Yeah, you've got

loads of stuff you can do with Good Lock,

so that's a pretty good tip. Okay,

so my next tip is with multitasking. So if

you drag— like, if you open a full-screen

app and you drag 2 fingers from the side

like that, it will now enter multitasking

mode and ask you to choose an app to open

on split screen. So for example, we could

open Hmm,

we're gonna open AutoTrader because I

was looking at cars earlier. Yeah, as if I

could afford a Model Y. You wish, £30

grand, £35,000.

Anyway, so you can like open up 2 apps and

then a 3rd app also you can drag it into

one of the corners like that. And then if

you really enjoy using this selection of

apps split screen, you don't have to keep

opening up like that, you can save it as a

favorite. So you press a star, and you can

add this shortcut to either the home

screen, the taskbar, or the Edge Panel.

Now I like the Edge Panel because my

taskbar is already full up with useful

apps, so I don't really want it on my home

screen. So the Edge Panel is a great

secondary taskbar. So we just drag it from

the side. Now we've got a bunch of

different split-screen apps that I have

pre-shortcuted. So for example, I've got

IRL Pro and YouTube because I use that for

my live streaming, and I've also got stuff

like Smart Select Sketch stuff. Uh, what

else do I have? So you just press it. So

if you close it and then you can just

reopen it easily like that, and it'll

reopen in the same way that you saved it

as. So that's a pretty useful way to use

the multitasking. So if you want to

enable, um, the swipe thing

so you can enable split screen, it's

pretty useful. I think you go to

multi-window and then you've got to do

Motions and gestures.

No, not motions and gestures. Uh, maybe

it's multi-window.

Yeah, multi-window. Then swipe for the

split screen and swipe for pop-up view and

just enable those, and that's it really.
