[2023-09-08] pewdiepie viewers are hating on me [Ew5ArIxt5Us]

A couple months ago, I made a pretty harsh

and judgmental video about how PewDiePie

decided to raise a kid in Japan, and I got

quite a lot of hate on that video. It has

thousands of dislikes, and I got some

pretty mean and scary comments in my DMs.

I even had to disable the comments on that

video because it was just getting so

negative and so hateful and so toxic. The

fans, or the fanatics— I find it funny how

the word fan comes from the word fanatic

because it is quite fanatical— the

PewDiePie fans were just kind of getting

out hand, and I had to stop them right

there by disabling the comments because it

seems like they didn't watch the video

properly and they were getting all upset

over something that I didn't even say, or

I didn't mean to say, and that was never

my intention to portray what I was trying

to say in that way. Seems like they

completely missed the point, or maybe they

just read the title only and didn't

actually watch the video because I don't

really feel like I said anything that was

so bad in the video. But, but for some

reason, these people got so angry. All I

said was that maybe it's not the best idea

to raise a white kid in Japan because of

things like not being able to fit in and

looking different. And I was trying to

raise awareness of the problems that could

arise if you raise a non-Asian kid in

Japan. But for some reason, people didn't

seem to understand the points I was trying

to make, and they somehow made me look

like I was this bad, horrible guy. So I

thought I'd make a video just apologizing

to Felix or PewDiePie. And by the way,

Felix does know who I am, in case anyone's

saying, oh, PewDiePie doesn't even care or

doesn't even know who you are. Actually,

he does know who I am, and I have proof

right here that he has watched one of my

videos before. As you can see here on one

of PewDiePie's videos about Tfue almost 4

or 5 years ago, you can see on his side

recommendation bar that he did actually

watch some of my video about my love doll.

And when I met Elvis the Alien, he told me

that when he met PewDiePie, they actually

discussed me for a few minutes.

Obviously, I don't know if PewDiePie saw

the video I made a couple months ago, but

it does have like a quarter of a million

views, which is quite a lot of views. So

maybe he saw the title or the thumbnail,

or maybe someone tried to tell him about

it and he didn't really respond to it,

obviously. But in case he did see it and

in case he did get upset over it, I guess

I could apologize. I guess it wasn't

really my place to say whether or not it's

a good idea to raise a white kid in Japan,

because maybe some people have good

experiences growing up as a white kid or a

non-Japanese kid in Japan, and some people

might have negative experiences. I'm sure

there's plenty of white people who who did

grow up in Japan or were born in Japan and

spent most of their childhood in Japan,

who grew up to be amazing people and have

great personalities and go on to do

amazing things. And they have the benefit

of being able to speak native-level

English and fluent Japanese, which really

opens the doors to a lot of things in

life. Take me, for example. I didn't grow

up in Japan, but I do have level 2 JLPT

and I speak pretty good Japanese. Being

able to speak Japanese is just so useful

and it's really helping me out in life

right now. And maybe it wasn't really my

place to be able to judge the parenting

skills of PewDiePie and Marzia because

they could be good parents. I mean, he

really does love his dogs and he spoils

them rotten. And you know what they say

about a man who loves dogs. Actually, no

one even knows whether they're going to

live in Japan for the rest of their lives

and actually raise the kid in Japan.

Maybe they'll just spend a few years in

Japan whilst the kid is just a baby, and

then when the kid is old enough to go to

school and then become like a young adult,

they would move to a different country,

maybe like an English-speaking country,

or maybe even America. Even PewDiePie

himself says he doesn't know how long

they're gonna live in Japan for. They're

just gonna live there, and if they stop

wanting to live there, then they'll just

move, I guess, 'cause they got infinite

amount of money, which I'm definitely not

jealous about. And people are also saying

that PewDiePie's got loads of money. If

there's any kind of problems with the

child, he'll be able to afford it

financially to be able to take care of any

problems. And yeah, that's kind of true.

You have a point there. My mum and dad

also had decent amounts of money and were

able to just buy me anything I wanted

whenever I wanted it. And I turned out

just fine. Although sometimes I do kind of

wish that my mum was Japanese because then

I'd be able to just live in Japan without

having to, you know, actually get a work

visa or actually have to get married or

something like that because I'd just be

able to claim Japanese nationality like

the Anime Man does. Does anyone else get

kind of annoyed that Joey the Anime Man

just gets to live in Japan for free

without having to work hard for a visa to

be able to live there just because his mum

was Japanese and he automatically easily

gets, what, dual citizenship or something

like that and he's able to just go and

live in Japan or live in Australia or

wherever he wants to. Some people are just

so lucky. Most people, if they want to

live in Japan, either have to get a job

teaching English or they have to go

through the difficult process of getting a

non-English teaching job, either in IT or

something like that. But then they need

good Japanese skills plus the

qualifications like a bachelor's degree in

IT or computing or whatever kind of side

job that's not English teaching related

that they want to chase. Or they have to

get married, and usually, you know, a lot

of marriages in Japan with foreigners and

Japanese women don't always work out

because, you know. But I don't think the

Anime Man ever had to get a job in Japan

like us normal people, and he never had to

get married in Japan. He just kind of got

a ticket, flew there, and was given the

ability or the permission to be able to

just stay there forever. I guess you all

know the channel called PewDiePie. As you

may be aware, he has how many? 40 million

subscribers. But I made an interesting

observation. Most of his videos only have

around 2 to 3 million views, right? So am

I right to assume that not all of his

subscribers watch his videos? So let's do

the maths here. What is,

as a percentage, what is 2 to 3 million of

40 million? It's about 5%, right? I'm not

sure. 10% of 40 million is 4 million,

and most of his videos don't get 4

million. Most of them are around the 2.5

million mark, right? So 5%? 5% of

his subscriber base watch his videos. So

when you look at it like that, it's not

really impressive, isn't it? I was just

wondering, why do so many people

subscribe to PewDiePie and then don't

actually watch his videos? Because for

someone who has 40 million subscribers, I

kind of expected all of his videos to have

at least 10 to 20 million views each,

right? But that's not the case. I mean,

even channels who have only 5 million

subscribers, they also have 2 to 3 million

views per video. So that means about 50%

of their views are coming from their

subscribers. So doesn't that make them

more successful? Than PewDiePie? I guess

it doesn't because everyone knows

PewDiePie is like the most successful

channel on YouTube, person on YouTube,

but that's only based on his subscriber

count, which is like 40 million right now.

I'm not sure if subscriber count is that

important because you could have 40

million subscribers, but if only 1 million

watch your videos, that's only 1 million

potential ad clicks.

And if people aren't clicking on your ads,

I don't think that the YouTuber is making

much or any money. So for example, I have

7 subscribers, but none of them watch my

videos. But I still get some money from

random people just finding my videos

somehow. So I really couldn't care less

about the subscriber count because it

doesn't mean anything. I mean, I could

have a million subscribers and it wouldn't

mean anything if they weren't actually

watching my videos. So only 95%— 95%

of PewDiePie's subscribers aren't actually

watching his videos. So does that mean

that 95% of his subscriber

base aren't making him any money? So does

that mean that PewDiePie makes all his

millions from only 5% of his subscriber
