Should I get married

Um, I don't know if this is a good idea to

make this video because if my girlfriend

finds it, she's, she's not going to be

happy that I talked about this personal

thing to a bunch of strangers. I'm not

sure if she's found the channel or if

she's still looking for the channel, but

this is a pretty big deal for me and I

want to talk about it, so I'm willing to

take the risk of her finding this video

and being upset with me. I had a pretty

interesting conversation with the GF last

night, um, she started asking me a bunch

of questions just out of the blue. She

asked me things like, do you want to stay

in Japan longer? Do you want to stay with

me for longer? She also asked me, do you

want to stay in Japan because you like

Japan or because you like me? And I said,

I like you and I like Japan. It kind of

felt like I was being asked a trick

question. She also asked me if I was going

to go to Korea or if I'm going to go back

home to England in March. And she asked me

if I go back to England, when would I come

back to Japan? And I said I won't be able

to come back to Japan straight away. I

need to stay in England for at least 4 or

5 months, so I won't be able to come back

to Japan until at least autumn or winter,

which is a pretty long time to wait. She

said she's going to feel really lonely

when I leave in March. She said that she's

so used to me being in the apartment,

she's used to living with me every day

now. And it would be strange if I just

suddenly disappear one day and then she's

back to being alone again. I told her that

the only other option I have is to get a

student visa, but that costs a lot of

money and I don't really want to go to a

school. And then she started asking me

these strange questions again. She asked

me, would I be happy living in Japan?

Would I be okay living in Japan? Do I want

to live in Japan? Would I be able to

support myself living in Japan? And I said

yes to all of these questions. I kind of

knew where she was going with these

questions, and then she started asking me

about marriage. She asked me, is it easy

for a foreigner to marry a Japanese person

and then live in Japan? She asked me if it

was expensive or if it was a difficult

procedure to do. I said I'm not too sure,

but I don't think it's a difficult thing

to do. Lots of foreigners marry Japanese

people and get marriage visas and end up

living in Japan with no problems. It's not

like the UK. Back home in England, it's

very strict. The English person needs to

be earning at least £18,000 a year to be

able to sponsor their spouse for a spouse

visa. I could be wrong, but I don't think

Japan has rules like that when it comes to

marriage. A few years ago, when I nearly

married my previous ex-Japanese

girlfriend, when I was researching all of

this, I couldn't find anything that said

that the Japanese person has to be earning

a certain amount of money. Even if Japan

did have rules like that, I don't think it

would be a problem because my girlfriend

has a pretty nice job. She earns about at

least $2,500 every month, and she

also has a second job. I asked her, why

are you asking me questions about

marriage? Do you want to get married to me

so I can stay in Japan with you? And she

said, if things are still going well

between us in a few months, then yeah,

getting married could be a possibility. I

just gave her a vague answer like, okay,

we'll see how it goes and then decide.

But to be honest, I don't really know how

to feel about this. It feels like it's a

bit fast. I've only been dating her for

about 2 months and we're already talking

about marriage. And I've also had this

experience before. If you remember a video

I made earlier this year or last year, I

talked about how I had a Japanese

girlfriend in 2014 and I nearly got

married to her before the relationship

went downhill. We ended up breaking up.

After I broke up with that girlfriend, I

realized how much of a huge mistake it

would have been if I had gotten married to

her. It just— it wouldn't have worked,

and I felt like I really dodged a bullet

there. To be honest, I don't feel like I'm

desperate to live in Japan. I'm perfectly

happy with living in Japan for a few

months and then going back to England to

see my family and live at my parents'

house for a few months and then coming

back to Japan. But if I really want to

be with someone, if I meet a special girl,

who I feel like is the one, then yeah, I

wouldn't say no to getting married to her

just so I can be with her. Every time I

come to Japan, I come here knowing that

getting married could be a possibility.

That's why I always carry my birth

certificate with me in my luggage, just in

case, because this is what you need. You

need this certificate if you want to get

married in Japan. And I guess my ultimate

goal of coming to Japan is to eventually

find someone that I want to get married

to. It's not just so I can have sex or so

I can have short-term relationships with

random girls. I want something that's more

permanent, something that's going to last

longer. I don't know if my current

girlfriend is the one yet, but now that

I think about it, I can't really think of

any good reasons not to marry her. She's

definitely a lot more attractive than all

of my previous ex-girlfriends. She doesn't

have weird mental issues. She doesn't have

annoying habits or traits. She's very

laid-back and easy to get on with, and I

feel comfortable with her, so I

can't really think of a good reason to say

no if, if she seriously asks me to marry

her. Sometimes the idea of settling does

worry me a bit. What if she's the best

girlfriend that I can get? What if I can't

get a girlfriend who's better than her?

What if I dump her and then I realize that

that was a big mistake because she was the

best girlfriend that I've had or could

ever get. Obviously, she's not perfect.

In an ideal world, my girlfriend would be

a few years younger, she would have big

boobs, she would have a big butt, she

would be absolutely filthy in bed, and her

butthole would smell amazing. But this

isn't an ideal world, this is reality,

and only a small percentage of people

actually get what they want in life. The

majority of us, us commoners, us peasants,

we have to settle and just take what we

can get. I'm not saying don't follow your

dreams. It's great to have dreams and

goals, but sometimes we We have to live in

the real world, we have to face reality,

and you need to make the decision. You

need to decide if, if it's worth holding

out for that perfect girl. You might be 50

years old and you'll still be single,

waiting for this perfect girl who doesn't

exist outside of your imagination. The

only downside about living in Japan would

be I wouldn't be able to see my family

anymore unless they came to Japan, and my

family are very uninterested in Japan. My

mum doesn't like Japan. She says Japanese

people are weird, the food tastes

horrible. My sister isn't interested in

Japan or Japanese culture at all. My dad

likes warm tropical countries where he can

relax on the beach and enjoy the seaside.

He's not really into cities or Japan in

general. So I'm not sure if they would

actually come all the way to Japan just to

see me. I guess they would at least one

time. So what should I do? Should I get

married? Should I say yes? Should I say

no? Should I say I'll think about it?

Maybe I should just do it. What's the

worst that could happen? If things don't

work out, we could just get divorced. Oh,
