today I'm going to be talking about the

weirdest places I ever had cereal in.

the rooftop of a guesthouse. So there was

this one time when I was staying in a

guesthouse in Japan and there was this

Korean girl. She was really cute and I

liked her a lot and we started to get very

close to each other. We started having

dinner together, going for evening walks

together, holding hands, chasing each

other. We were like a couple of little

kids running around in Japan. It was

really fun actually. And then there was

this one night when we went up to the

rooftop of the guesthouse we were staying

in. So we went up to the rooftop and it

was really romantic, and then we started

kissing against the chain-link fence which

was up on the rooftop, and then somehow we

ended up on the floor rolling around. And

it was kind of exciting because we didn't

know if someone was going to come up to

the rooftop and then find us doing stuff.

Luckily, no one came up to the rooftop and

we didn't get caught or anything. She said

she wanted to go back to her bedroom and I

just said okay and I went back to my

bedroom. So unfortunately, nothing really

happened apart from just a bit of kissing

on the rooftop. I feel a bit stupid and I

kind of regret not following her to her

bedroom, or at least trying to. I guess it

was a long time ago and I was kind of

young. I didn't really have the confidence

that I have now. I did try to ask her to

be my girlfriend, but she rejected me.

She kept saying that she wasn't

interested, and this surprised me because

we were kissing and holding hands and

doing stuff together. Turns out she had a

boyfriend back in Korea and she didn't

want to have anything to do with me. She

ended up leaving the guest house. She

moved out and and then moved into some

Korean woman's apartment.

Number 2. The second weird place I had

cereal in was in a hotel room whilst I was

working there. So when I was about 18, I

used to work in a hotel slash pub

restaurant kind of building, and I used to

have to clean rooms, change the beddings,

do vacuuming, and, you know, just do

cleaning. So one day I was cleaning one of

the hotel rooms, and then a couple walks

into the, the the room

next to the room I was cleaning. And then

all of a sudden, I could start to hear the

sounds of a woman, a woman's voice, and a

lot of banging sounds. And at the time, I

was still very young, just about 18. I had

never been that close to actual real-life

cereal happening so close to me. And as

you can imagine, I got a little bit

excited, and I thought, what if I just had

a cheeky bowl of cereal right here Whilst

I'm working, it would only take a few

minutes. Hopefully no one would find out.

I was a bit worried that my boss might

come into the room because sometimes she

used to come upstairs to check on what I

was doing or to tell me if it was getting

busy down in the kitchen. Thankfully, no

one came up into the room to disturb me,

and I managed to finish my bowl without

getting caught. However, I did spill some

of it onto a pillow, and I just got a

tissue piece of tissue paper wiped it off

and then turned the pillow over. So

hopefully no one noticed, but. I feel kind

of bad for the person who stayed in that

room after I finished cleaning it. Now

that I think back on it, it was kind of

crazy. I mean, the boss— my boss could

have easily walked in. I didn't even lock

the door, actually. But my boss could have

walked straight in, or my coworker could

have come in to ask me a question or tell

me to do something else. I could have

gotten fired. I could have gotten into big

trouble if someone found out. As some of

you may know, a few years ago, I used to

work at a petrol station doing night

shifts. And when I first started doing

night shifts, it was really tough. It was

really hard and difficult to stay awake.

The first few nights when it got to around

midnight, I started to get very sleepy,

and it was really a struggle to keep my

eyes open. And even if I drank loads of

coffee, or even if I woke up really late

before I went to work, I still couldn't

help but feel really sleepy when it got to

around midnight. And one of the things I

did to try and perk myself up a bit and

give me a bit of a wake-up was I would go

into the toilets and and pretend to be

using the toilets when actually I was

having a cheeky bowl of self-cereal. And I

did this for about a week, the first week

that I started working there. I did it

nearly every day, and I got a bit worried

that they might be wondering, why is

Daniel spending so much time in the

toilets? Maybe he has constipation or

something. That wasn't the last time that

I used to have cereal over a toilet,

actually. On my very last day at the

petrol station, just before I was about to

quit, a few weeks before I was about to

quit, they started doing construction.

They started expanding the petrol station

and they were building this new part of

the shop and it was all under

construction. It was unfinished. And

during my break, I used to go into the

under construction area, which was all

dark, had no cameras, and I would just

have a look around. And I went into the

unfinished toilet room where they just had

the toilet there lying there, a new brand

new toilet unit unplugged. Plugged, and I

had a bowl of cereal over that, and I

spilled my milk over the unfitted toilet

unit and the construction workers' tools.

I thought it was kind of fitting that I

started the job by having a bowl of cereal

over a toilet, and then I also ended my

days at the petrol station by doing the

same thing.

Number 4: buy a river outside.

In Japan. So if you remember back to last

year, I started making my videos by a

river. I kept going to this river to film

because at the time I was pretending that

I was homeless, and if I went back to my

wife's place to make videos, then people

would find out that I wasn't actually

homeless. And to make videos, I would just

walk up and down this riverbank, and it

was really peaceful. There were hardly any

people, just a few old guys fishing, but

most of the time there were no people

there to make me feel embarrassed about

talking to a camera. I really liked going

there to make videos. It's very— it was

very relaxing and calming, and it was

great. It had a great view of the city on

the other side of the river. And on the

side, by the banks of the river, there was

very long grass. And I noticed one day

that there was a bit of an opening in the

grass, and I looked inside, and some

homeless guy actually set out like a kind

of a cardboard mattress, and he made like

a square rectangle opening in the long

grass. I guess he was sleeping or living

there. And when me and my wife were back

on friendly terms, I actually took her to

the river to enjoy the view, the view,

because I thought it was a really nice

view. And we started walking along the

river, and I remembered the, the homeless

guy's cardboard opening, and I was

wondering if there was anyone in there.

So I took my ex-wife to that place,

and luckily there was no one there. So we

went into the little homeless area, the

space, and we had a cheeky bowl of cereal

right there outside. It was evening, so

there were no people around. I think it

was about 9 or 10 PM, so it was pretty

deserted. Luckily, no one caught us. It

was pretty exciting actually. I've never

had a bowl of cereal outside where people

could just be walking past. I'm not sure

why that's exciting. It just— I guess the

idea or the chance that you might get

caught makes it exciting. Well, that's all
