I was thinking of buying one, but they're a little bit expensive. I don't really want to spend money on it. I can stream, streams great, can play Rainbow Six on ultra, and it— there's no lag because Rainbow Six is quite an old game now. It does struggle on newer games and open-world games. Apex Legends and Red Dead Redemption, it struggles. Even at low settings. But I don't play those anyway, so I could probably get away with spending £1,000 on a GTX 1060, or I could spend £2,000 and get an RTX. But do I really need that much power? Do I really need a laptop? Because I can do almost any— everything on my phone. You can even download Twitch streams from your phone and then edit it on your phone, so it's not like I need a computer. My new thing that I like doing is streaming and then downloading the stream and then editing highlights into videos. That's quite a good way of making extra money. Yeah, look at this place. Uh, I guess I have to look into it. So transport, not sure, it's hard to predict it. Because I think I'd probably stay in the same area unless I really, really want to go somewhere further away. Okay, so our current total is £6,282 for a 6-month In Japan. That's like the bare minimum we need, 6,000. And then for luxuries sprinkled on top, like Dating, I guess I haven't factored in dating. Obviously I want to do dating, but that depends on how many dates I get and then what we do on, on the dates. A typical date would be about $20 or $30 on food and then maybe $20 or $30 on an attraction like Cinema, arcade, going to a nice place. And then if you get to have cheesecake, then that's like $80 or $100 on a hotel. So a typical— a successful date would be about $150. A failed date, which means no cheesecake, would probably be minimum $50 or $60. So it depends how many dates I get lined up and how many are successes. And then if I can successfully convert a date into a girlfriend, that's where you get the real bang for your buck. Because you can stay at her place for free. That's how you turn a speculative stock into a dividend-paying value stock. Why can't you save money and jerk yourself at the Airbnb? Because that's boring. Who wants to live life just jerking off? Why do I want to go to Japan so badly? Because I'm bored. Because the rent is cheap. You try and find a place for £552 a month in London. So yeah, Japan is just great in almost every way. The only thing I don't like about Japan is the food. It's not great. Very difficult to get good bread, very difficult to get good ham. Impossible to get good bacon or sausage. So you kind of have to learn how to eat like a Japanese person, which means a lot of boiled cabbage and meat, miso soup, white rice, a lot of fish. You can try and make your Western food stuff, but they just have rubbish. The versions of Western food is just rubbish. You have to go— you have to really go out your way to get the good stuff. Like, go and find a Costco, which are kind of rare in Japan. Chihiro used to take me to this special shop to get baked beans because I wanted baked beans. Like, you can't get baked beans anywhere in Japan. You have to go to a special stupid shop. I was getting stressed out. I just want some baked beans on toast, and you can't even go down to the supermarket to get that. You have to go all the way into the city to get bloody baked beans. Can't get canned soup, you can't get cream of mushroom, cream of chicken soup. Even the crisps are weird. I really start craving my favorite foods when I'm in Japan. Some of the food in Japan's okay, I guess if you like fried chicken, there's lots of variety. Chihiro is a good wife in retrospect. Yeah, I guess she was pretty good. She She made me Western food when I started moaning, so she'd make me steak and chips, even though she probably would have preferred to have Japanese food. And she always let me vlog and film without being like, Oh, I don't want to be in the video. Oh, cut, cut me out of the video. Oh, you can hear my voice. I sound weird. She just let me film whatever. That was great. And then she just let me make weird stuff. So I'd ask her, can I make a video talking about 5 reasons why you're annoying? And she'd be like, sure, whatever. Okay. I think most girls wouldn't like that. Go to a European country for a few months like you did in Germany. I don't know, I think I'd rather just stay at home. If I felt really, really Desperate to leave my home. I'd probably go to London. London is not that much more expensive than Europe, unless I go to some crappy Europe country like Spain. She got upset because I kept telling people she was beating me. But she did hit me a bit hard sometimes. She said I was exaggerating. Will I ever be able to stream on YouTube? I can stream again In 2 weeks on the 22nd, but I don't know if I'd go back to YouTube. I quite like Twitch, and it's quite nice to have a bit of diversity, branch out a bit onto a different website. So even if I don't get any Super Chats on YouTube, if I streamed for a couple hours, I'd still get at least $20 from just ad revenue. Twitch, I don't— I get a couple dollars on Twitch.

I think you don't have to worry about copyright stuff, so I could just play YouTube content and react to it and I should be safe. I could take the train, but then I have to walk half an hour to the train station, and then I have to get the train to Victoria for an hour, and then I have to change at South Kensington, which would be another hour, and then I have to wait for all these trains, and then I might get the virus from peasants on the train. Yeah, I could do outside streams like I used to, but it's just too much, too much effort. You have to get pocket Wi-Fi and you have to try and find stuff to do, otherwise it's just me walking around outside. Make a podcast. But who would I do it with? And what would we talk about? I don't want to because I want to talk. I don't want to have to listen to someone else talking. If I wanted to do that, I'd just watch someone's video. The whole point, the whole reason I like to stream is because I want to talk. If there's someone else, then I have to talk less, and they might talk about boring stuff that I'm not interested in. Who would I even stream with? If I was gonna do like a podcast. He would just end up talking all the time and then I'd hardly say anything. It would be so boring. No, I only come out of my shell when I'm by myself. Otherwise you end up getting this really boring shell of a version of me. It's like 5% Daniel, and the rest of it's too anxious to come out. The only person I felt comfortable on stream with was probably Chihiro. Maybe Mila in the first days, I felt quite comfy. But the streams with Chihiro were always kind of disjointed because she would— she wouldn't react to what I said, and then she was just looking at the chat the whole time. Talking to the chat and ignoring me, and then I was always ignoring the chat, and just— it just felt so disconjointed. It's like we're all doing separate things on the stream. What's the point? Might go and have dinner soon. My mum's calling. I'm not sure if I want to stream when I come back. I want to do like a really long stream again. It's only been 2 hours. It's kind of tricky with dinner. I don't really want to bring my dinner up here. I only do that when there's people around. If that's the case, then I'd probably just get the vaccination. But apart from traveling, if I don't need to get the vaccine, I probably won't because I don't go anywhere anyway. It's not like I'm a high risk of spreading it, so I just stay at home. And I'm lazy. I wouldn't be bothered. I wouldn't want to go all the way down to wherever you have to go to get the vaccine. If they sent it as like a pill in the post and you just take it with some water, then I'd be like, fine, I'll just take it. But you have to go all the way to the place and then you have to get injected. I hate needles. I got injected last time when they took my blood for the HIV test. It hurt. She stuck it right there in that vein. Could feel it going in. I didn't know it was supposed to hurt that much. It took out so much blood. They should make a spray, a COVID spray that you inhale, because that's how you get COVID anyway. You don't get COVID from injection, you get it from inhaling it. So they should make a spray that's full of weak COVID cells and you just puff it and then you'll get immunity from it that way. Why does it have to be injected? Why don't they just spray it from aeroplanes from the sky? They just spray, spray out this fume of weakened COVID cells into the streets and everyone gets infected against their choice, against their will. What is weak COVID cells? I don't know, like a weakened version. Like the smallpox vaccine, isn't that dead smallpox cells?

I think this article is a bit old. Last updated 2nd of April. Japan is seeing a 4th wave of positive cases from end of March through early April. State of emergency for several prefectures have ended. Osaka, Miyagi, Hyogo Prefecture will be under new strict COVID-19 measures for 1 month starting on April 5th in response to a new wave of infections. Wow, new state of emergency. in Osaka starting a few days ago. Japanese government has announced Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to be first approved for use. They haven't even approved AstraZeneca. See how desperate we are in Europe? We just approved it straight away. The Japanese government will keep in place temporary suspension on all foreign travelers from entering Japan. It has been confirmed international spectators will not be allowed to attend the Olympics. Yeah, that's, that's all the updates. They still haven't decided when they're reopening. Japan is an anomaly in how they handled the initial outbreak. Instead of enforcing countrywide lockdowns, government declared state of emergency in stages across the country. What's the difference? State of emergency? It doesn't really seem like there's a lockdown in Japan. Seems like they're just going to work and doing what they usually do. I think Japan has a bit of an advantage because They've been wearing face masks for decades. I don't know when they started, but Japan has been like the number one country where they've always worn face masks for no reason. So it's not hard to get them to wear face masks. And they're also used to natural disasters like earthquakes all the time. People in the West are so stubborn about face masks. They, they just don't want to wear them. I think we don't have any choice but to just wait. I have a bad feeling that it's not going to open until next year. I feel like this year as well they're not going to open. And then what if they open and then they have a lockdown in winter? How am I supposed to do dating or make content? I'll just be stuck in Japan all by myself. That's why I decided to leave Korea, because it was really hard to, to do dates. Bitcoin just cannot break and hold $60K. It hits $60K and then it drops back down to $55K or $52K. Looks like it's trying to go back up to $60K. So my Bitcoin stocks are not doing fantastically. Everything else just is going sideways, so no progress today either. If I buy another laptop, would I leave it in Japan again? Hopefully not. The last time I left it was because it was too heavy. I got too lazy, I didn't want to carry it around. I should just stick with my iPad, really. But if I'm gonna stream in Japan, I want to do it like this. On a PC, not, not on my phone. But then phone streams aren't bad. You can do, um, point of view, do cooking, chop some vegetables. Like I was doing in Rotterdam.
