The CREEPIEST viewer I ever met in Japan [uAlOjO4CY3g]

In 2019, at the height of my YouTube fame,

some sneaky viewers tried to expose me,

and my marriage was almost ruined. But

thanks to some quick thinking on my

behalf, I managed to turn the situation

around and use it to my own advantage to

make some money. What I thought was going

to be an innocent lunch date with a viewer

turned out to be one of the most

calculated and conniving schemes set up to

bring me down. 3 very malicious people set

out to extract money out of me by

exploiting one of my weaknesses.

Women. So it all started when I was

planning to book an Airbnb to make a video

in where I was pretending that Chihiro

kicked me out and we were getting

divorced. I booked this very fancy Airbnb

and the plan was I was going to go there

around 3 PM in the afternoon, shoot the

video, and then meet Chihiro at the Airbnb

at around 4 PM, and then we would spend a

romantic evening together in that nice

Airbnb. Unfortunately, things didn't quite

go to plan, and I ended up staying at the

Airbnb all by myself. So my plans fell

apart when this girl, a Swedish girl who

messaged me, asked if I wanted to meet up

because she was visiting Japan. She said

she's been watching my channel for a few

years and she really liked my content and

was interested in meeting. So I thought,

okay, I'll meet her for lunch and see if I

can get lucky and then quickly head to the

Airbnb at 3 PM to shoot the video and then

maybe also her in the Airbnb before Chiro

came, but I had no idea what was about to

unfold. So I go to Tennoji Station to meet

this Swedish girl, and first thing I

thought when I saw her was, Jesus Christ,

she's huge. She must have been like 5'10.

I think she was slightly taller than me,

and I felt kind of insecure because I

don't like it when women are taller than

me. It makes me feel kind of weird. And

not only was she a bit taller than me,

she also had a very big frame. Like, her

shoulders were very broad, much wider than

my frame. And her face, well, she kind of

looks like Quentin Tarantino's daughter.

So as soon as we met, I instantly felt

awkward and uncomfortable, and I felt zero

attraction. But I thought, okay, she's not

fat at least. Well, I'll try and get her

to a hotel room anyway and see what

happens. Maybe she looks better when she's

not wearing anything. We walk around for a

bit, and I suggest we go to a restaurant,

and we go to a kushikatsu restaurant. And

we had a few meat skewers, and I drank a

beer to try and give me some confidence.

It felt very awkward. She kind of seemed

shady, like she was looking around

nervously. I thought maybe it's because I

was making her nervous. I didn't really

know what to talk about. About, and she

didn't really seem very interested in

talking to me either. And I was starting

to think already that this is a waste of

time. I just need to ask the question and

see if I can get her to a hotel room or

not so I can quickly go to the Airbnb and

continue with my plans for today. So I

start thinking, okay, where can we go

after we finish this meal? And I thought,

okay, Tennoji is famous for having a lot

of shrines and temples. I know, I'll take

her to a temple. So I say to her, do you

want to go to a temple? And she says okay.

And then I go onto Google Maps, and

instead of looking for temples nearby, I

actually start searching for love hotels

nearby. And luckily there's a love hotel

pretty close, maybe a 10-minute walk away.

And I say, okay, let's go. I found a

temple. And I actually lead her to the

love hotel instead of a temple. So we're

walking and we're talking and I'm sneakily

checking the map to see how close we are

to getting to this love hotel. And we

finally get to the love hotel and I

suddenly stop and I point at the love

hotel and I say, oh, what's that? That

looks interesting. And then she looks at

it as well. And she says she doesn't know.

And then I say, oh, it's a love hotel. Do

you want to go inside? And she instantly

says no. She just says, no thanks, but

nice try. And then I laugh and it's kind

of awkward. And I say, well, it was worth

a shot. And as soon as she said no and she

rejected me, I instantly felt this massive

wave of relief. I don't know about you

guys, but the scariest thing for me when I

go on a date is being rejected when I ask

the special question of, do you want to go

to a hotel? Because the only thing I want

out of the date is to bring her back to a

hotel room. And if I get rejected, then

that's like a massive hit on my ego. I

feel a bit like an idiot. I feel kind of

embarrassed. But this embarrassment

doesn't last very long. It lasts for like

10 seconds and then you're over it. The

mystery of will I get rejected isn't there

anymore because you just got rejected and

you know the answer. So what is there left

to be scared of anymore? There's nothing

to be nervous about now. So I felt much

more comfortable and relaxed after I asked

that question. And since there was nothing

left to be gained from hanging out with

her, I said to her, well, I'm gonna go

home now since, you know, we're not really

gonna do anything. And she said okay, and

we just said goodbye and we never went to

the temple. And I thought that was the end

of that. I check my watch or my phone, I

check the time, and I see it's nearly 3 PM

and I'm really late to getting back to the

Airbnb. I need to get to the Airbnb

quickly, make this video, and be ready for

Chihiro to arrive at the Airbnb. But the

Airbnb is kind of far away. To get there

by train would take over an hour. So I

jump into a taxi, which is something I've

never done before. I've never taken a taxi

by myself in Japan before because you have

to talk to the taxi driver and explain to

him where you want to go, and I don't

really like that level of human

interaction. But I was really desperate to

get to this Airbnb quickly, so I had no

choice. So I get to the Airbnb just with

enough time to make this video, and before

I start preparing to make the video, I

start getting these messages from this

random guy that I've never talked to

before. Sends me a photo of myself taken

from behind. It's a picture of me and the

Swedish girl walking towards the love

hotel that we were going to. It was the

creepiest thing I've ever seen. I had no

idea who took this photo, why they took

it, and all of these different

explanations were circulating in my mind.

Did the Swedish girl set me up? Was it

like a friend of hers? Was it just like an

innocent bystander who recognized me from

YouTube and then took a photo of me? Was

it an opportunistic hater who just saw me

and then thought, oh, I could exploit this

situation and then try and blackmail

Daniel. So after the photo, the guy also

sends a message saying, if you don't want

this photo to be leaked everywhere, then

send me £1,000 now or else

your marriage is over. So the guy kind of

got me. I was pretty much screwed because

if he's gonna leak that photo, then

Chihiro would find out. I would have no

explanation, decent explanation, as to why

I was hanging out with this girl. So I

only had 2 choices: either I just give him

the money and and hope that he doesn't

leak the photos anyway, or I refuse to pay

the money, let him leak the photos, and

then just see what happens. Or option

number 3, I leak the photos myself to my

ex-wife and see what happens. And I went

for option number 3. Sometimes you get

caught red-handed and there's no point

lying anymore, and you might as well just

be honest and admit that you're up to no

good. So I messaged Chihiro and I send her

the photo myself And I explained the

situation that this person is trying to

get money out of me. So I'm just gonna

tell you before you find out from anyone

else that, yep, I met this girl, we hung

out, but nothing happened. And as you can

imagine, she was pretty mad. She said that

she's not gonna come to the Airbnb, we're

not gonna have this nice evening together,

and she told me to just stay at the Airbnb

and don't come back. So I was pretty

upset. My entire day and my evening was

ruined, but I had some content. I made

this video about how I got blackmailed.

And the video did pretty well, got like

40,000 views. I made a couple hundred

dollars, which easily paid for the Airbnb.

And I wasn't really worried about my

marriage. I didn't think Chihiro was gonna

dump me or break up with me just because I

hung out with a woman. I've done much

worse in the past, and she forgave me for

those things, so I wasn't really worried

about the marriage being in danger just

because of this. Now, if I had to give

some advice to the people trying to

blackmail me, the Swedish girl should have

said yes to going to the hotel, and she

should have went through with it until the

ugly end. And she should have tried to get

some incriminating evidence of us actually

doing it to use against me, because that

would have been much worse. But I guess

she wasn't willing to get her hands dirty

to make that sweet blackmail money. So I

stayed in the Airbnb for a few nights,

and then Chihiro eventually forgave me,

and then I just went back to her. Even to

this day, I still don't know exactly what

happened or what the deal was. The Swedish

girl never confessed or admitted to what

actually happened, and she kept claiming

that she had no idea that someone was

taking a photo, and she doesn't know the

person who took the photo, and She thinks

it's all like a big coincidence. So I

guess I'll never know what actually went

down, but I do have some theories of my

own. I think what happened was there were

3 people: the hater, who was actually

someone who really hated me and wanted to

like expose me for something, and then

there was a Swedish girl and her friend.

I don't think the Swedish girl was

originally my viewer. I think the hater

met the Swedish girl online on some other

social media platform and found out that

the Swedish girl had plans to travel to

Osaka. And he befriended her and said to

her, hey, do you want to make some extra

money? I know this YouTuber who lives in

Osaka. Could you go and message him and

meet him and take a photo of you two

together? And then we'll try and get some

money and I'll give you a cut. And then

she probably planned with her friend to

get the friend to wait somewhere, and then

she would walk past the friend with me and

then take the photo from behind as we

walked past. I think it's way too unlikely

for it to be a coincidence that there was

just someone standing there who knew me

and then took the photo just as we were

walking past. So I definitely feel like

the person who took the photo and the

Swedish girl knew each other. But that's

just a theory. We'll never know what the

actual truth is because neither of them

will admit to what actually happened, and

they've both just disappeared by now.

Looking back, I also find it kind of funny

that I valued £1,000 more than my

marriage. With the amount of money I was

making back then, £1,000 wasn't really

much to me, and I could have easily just

paid that and maybe not have had any of

that trouble. But then the risk was, like

I said earlier, I could have paid the

money and then he might have just leaked

it for the lols anyway. So I took a

calculated risk and I made my decision.

Fortunately, it turned out pretty well for

me, and I didn't really suffer any

long-lasting consequences for it.
