Hi and welcome to today's video. Today's

topic is why I live with my mum when I'm

30 years old and why I'm not planning on

moving out anytime soon.

People like to make fun of me because I

live with my mum, and I wanted to make a

video to tell you why it's not so bad. So

the main reason would be mainly money. As

a struggling YouTuber, it's very helpful

not to have to pay any rent or for food or

for any expenses. And if I wanted to move

out, I would have to go and live in some

crappy townhouse in Maidstone, which would

cost me about £600 to £1,000 a month just

for rent, plus have to pay for my own

food. And what you have to do is you kind

of have to put yourself in my shoes. If

you were me, which one would you rather

pick? Live in a big house, big garden,

where you're by yourself most of the time

because my mum's at work usually, Or live

in some hole in Maidstone for £600, or

maybe even more per month, and have to pay

for food. It's not really a difficult

decision to make.

It just doesn't make any sense to pay that

much money on rent and food so I can live

on my own in some crappy apartment or flat

in Maidstone, or maybe London, when I

could just live here and there's

absolutely no problems. Let's think about

it for a minute. Think about it logically.

So should I move out so I

could live by myself and then people would

think I'm cool because I'm independent and

I'm living by myself? Or should I just

live with my mum and not waste 60 or 70%

of my income on rent and food and expenses

and then use that saved money on things I

enjoy? For example, for example, this

brand new iPad Pro which I recently

bought. It's very nice. Has an Apple

Pencil attached to it, and this gaming

wireless Logitech mouse, which is also

very nice, and this Samsung S10+, which

I'm currently making this video on. I

wouldn't be able to buy any of this stuff

if I had to pay all of that money towards

rent and food if I lived in some hole in

Maidstone. No offense to people who live

in Maidstone, I'm sure it's very nice to

live there. It's not really a hard

decision to make. Either live in some

crappy townhouse in Maidstone and then

waste 70% of my income on rent and stuff,

or save that money, live here, and be able

to buy stuff that I want to buy that makes

me happy. Okay, so I don't sound very

cool. It's not very impressive to hear

that a 30-year-old is living with his mum.

And yeah, if my sister brought back a

boyfriend and said that he lives with his

mum and he's 30 and he doesn't have a job,

I'd say, what a loser.

But you have to remember that, um, I don't

really care if people think I'm cool or

not because I'm not living by myself. You

thinking I'm not cool is a very small

price to have to pay in order to be able

to buy the things that I want to buy. And

you also have to remember that I don't

really want to live in England long term.

I don't want to be tied down to one place

permanently. I want to be able to have the

freedom to move around. I don't want to be

tied down to one place because I don't

want to stay in this country for every

single day of every year. I want to be

able to go to Japan for a couple months,

go to a different country for a few

months, and then come back here. And I

don't see why there's anything wrong with

using my mum's house as a home base, as

kind of like an aircraft carrier. That's

how I think of it. I think of it as an

aircraft carrier, and I'm a bomber plane,

and I go out and I make these bombing

runs. And then every now and then I need

to come back to my aircraft carrier to

refuel, restock, get more bombs. Yeah,

it's true, for the past 10 years I've been

living with my parents, but not, not every

single day. I, I went to Japan for a

couple months every year and then South

Korea. I spent— usually I spend half the

year in either Japan or South Korea and

then the remaining half here at my

parents' house, and I don't see what's

wrong with that. And there's also a lot of

other benefits. For example, I don't have

to the laundry because my mum does it. I

also don't have to cook most of the time

because my mum usually cooks dinner for

me. So I don't have to do these chores

which I would have to do if I moved out

and lived by myself. Okay, admittedly

there are some drawbacks with living with

my mum, and the main problem that I can

think of would be bringing girls back

home. I don't really feel comfortable

bringing girls back here to You know,

I don't think my mum would have a problem

with it because my sister brings back

boyfriends all the time, so it would only

be fair for it to be okay for me to bring

back girls. But I just don't— I don't feel

comfortable bringing girls back here when

my mum might be here. It's just kind of

weird, isn't it? I want my own private

place to bring girls back to. So I guess

the main benefit of moving out and having

my own place would be the ability to bring

back girls and have them sleep over, stay

over the night if I like them. And that

would be the main reason why I would want

to move out. But you know, it's not so bad

not being able to bring girls back home.

I just have to go all the way to London or

Maidstone and book a hotel.

It's not a huge sacrifice to have to

sacrifice. But I guess it would be nice to

be able to have my own place to bring

girls back home. Hey, I have an idea.

What if I ordered one of those summer

garden cabins? You know, the ones made out

of wood. I could order one of those

cabins, put it in the garden, and then if

a girl was interested, she could come and

stay with me in the cabin. It could be

right at the end of the garden. We'd have

our privacy, and then I could decorate it.

I could put a little bed, a stove, a

refrigerator that has snacks and drinks in

it, and then I could somehow get internet

and electricity over there. And then it'll

be like our own little private place in my

mum's garden. I think that sounds like a

pretty good idea. Maybe I'll ask my mum if

she'd let me do that.

I think it'd be really nice, really

romantic. I could decorate it, we'd have

curtains, a little wood burner. During

winter I could put wood into the fire and

then it'll be all warm and cozy and we can

cuddle.

And, um, yeah. So in conclusion,

the main reason why I don't move out is

because what's the point?

It would just cost so much money, and I'm

not planning on staying here long-term

anyway. I'm planning on going back to

Japan eventually, and I don't want to

spend so much money just so you guys can

think I'm cool and independent and living

by myself. I'm really, I'm really sorry,

but you thinking I'm cool or not cool just

isn't really that important. It's not

really that important to me personally.

Don't get me wrong, I, I value your

opinion and your thoughts very much, but

on this matter, not much.

iPad Pro Smart Folio magnetic

cover case for the iPad Pro. Very tasty.

That should be quite fun.

We have a little card and the

security camera. Oh, it's quite small. I

thought it'd be bigger. Nice and compact.

So there's a little antenna. It's quite

cute actually. It looks like a little

robot. Look, it's like one of those droids

off Star Wars. Victor. I thought it said

Victoria. So this is a Wi-Fi controlled

security camera, wireless. You can

use an app to see what it's filming on

your phone or tablet. It's pretty cool.

Also got this Xbox One controller because

I thought it might be more relaxing to

play Rainbow Six using a controller

instead of being hunched over my mouse and

keyboard. Let's see if it's any good.

Hmm, so we have AA batteries and— oh,

it's been a while since I've held an Xbox

controller.

And where's my cover for my iPad?

is the application on my iPad. So I can
