living in the Tesla. Definitely not losing

my mind.

Anyway, so day 21.

I haven't had a shower in 5 days.

I'm trying to think how I can wash my

hair, but I don't know how.

So, I've figured out how to do

everything inside of the car.

Let me explain. So, first of all, I got

this. So, first of all, the point is,

um, it's a lot colder now. I don't

really want to be outside of the car to do

stuff. I need to be able to do everything

inside of the car. Well, wow,

thanks, owl. So before, when it was

sunnier and warm, it was fine. I could

do everything outside of the car and it

was great. But now it's getting kind of

cold. I had to—

to survive, I need to figure out how to do

everything in the car. So I got this

12-volt extension

cable because in normal cars they have the

12-volt port at the front of the car. For

some reason Tesla decided to put it all

the way in the back of the car, which is

really annoying. So I had to get this

cable. And now instead

of making coffee in the boot, I can make

it in the front. Genius. And I put my

fridge in the front too.

Uh, you don't need to see that, I guess.

Uh, maybe I could show it. Oh, I can't be

bothered. So I've got my coffee-making

stuff.

Uh, the quality shouldn't be bad. I've got

Starlink running. If it's bad, it's

because it's dark and I don't have an

expensive camera. Yeah,

But I usually have the fridge off at night

because, um, it turns off itself anyway

because all the electricity shuts down

overnight unless I put it into camp mode,

but then it will drain a lot of battery.

No, it's good. I only got it a couple days

ago. Oh, it's still wet.

Good thing I've got Model Y instead of

Model 3. Much more space.

So I'll show you how I make my coffee now

without having to get out of the car. So

first of all, um,

I put my kettle down here.

And then you get your water.

And then you plug it in

and then it goes beep. Then it

will take about 30 minutes

to get to about 70 to 80 degrees.

is there's no metal on the inside of the

Tesla, so to stick it on, I have to put it

So most of it's on the inside of the car

apart from the magnet bit. I think it

was designed with most cars

having metal inside in mind, but it

doesn't. It's got plastic,

so I have to have a bit of black sticking

out, but it's really good. I feel safe,

secure. Car's coming.

I'm definitely not sleeping by the

roadside.

And I got a new shaver because I lost my

other one. It's not as good because it's

So it's a bit annoying, but it was only

is. It's lost inside of the car somewhere.

said she'll sell it when she gets it back.

So I mean, number one, how can she afford

to buy a van? They're like thousands of

pounds even for a cheap crappy one.

to live in and then she's gonna show me

when she's done. I said I can help out if

you want. So I also want to know like

what it's like to, uh, do that kind of

work because it could be interesting.

of looks the same. It does feel kind of

gross though, I can feel it. It's not as

fluffy anymore, it's like clumping with

the grease. So I don't know if I just like

take my shampoo and towel into the

disabled toilet, and then I just washed my

hair in the sink. And my armpits are

getting sticky. I used the wet wipes on my

armpit, but it didn't help because the wet

wipes are kind of sticky themselves.

Oh shit, I'm dropping sugar everywhere.

I'm using the wet wipes to prop the

Starlink up to get maximum alignment.

So maybe I just use a damp cloth for my

armpits.

And then I use a wet cloth to wash my

face. That's all you need, really.

I've been sleeping really well, actually.

A little strangely, maybe I've got the

opposite of claustrophobia where I like

confined spaces. It feels like a capsule

hotel in Japan.

The main thing I'm worried about is

getting sick. I'm wondering if I should

stock up on tinned food in case I can't

drive because I'm sick, because then at

least I'll have some food.

But then on the flip side, you might get

Can you change the quack? Yeah, there's

loads of other sounds. You can also put

your own custom sound. If you record a

sound and put it on a USB stick, you can

import it into the car. So I don't know,

Do I own the car? Um,

technically no, but I'm the registered

keeper. It's not a lease, it's a PCP.

A lease is like £400 a month, you never

own the car. Leasing is like renting,

isn't it? PCP is like a mortgage.

The bigger the deposit you put down, the

lower the interest rate and monthly

payments are going to be, exactly like a

mortgage. And then at the end of the

contract, you pay a balloon payment and

then you own the car, or you give the car

back and you switch it for a new car.

And then you might have negative equity if

you did too many miles on it or you had

damage, or if you didn't do as many miles

as you agreed, you'd get positive equity

and they'll pay you back for the miles you

didn't do.

There's also hire purchase. I think

that's kind of like in between leasing and

PCP where you've got higher monthly

payments but you don't own the car at the

end. I don't really know.

I guess I'm gonna pay the balloon payment

and keep the car, or I could trade it in

for a a newer model, longer range model

maybe.

I'm definitely gonna go way over the

agreed mileage though, so I, I don't know

which is cheaper, to pay the balloon

payment. I've also damaged the car,

so I'm way in negative equity probably,

so I might— I don't know.

3 years is a long time though. I've

already changed my car 3 times within 1

year.

I really shouldn't have gotten the

Citroën. The Citroën was a complete waste

of time because it was basically exactly

the same car as the Peugeot, just slightly

bigger. It had the same battery size,

the same motor. I feel like I

got a bit scammed because I went into the

dealership saying, oh, I don't like my

Peugeot because the range isn't very good,

and then he basically just sold me a car

that has the same range. But I— it was my

fault because I really like the look of

the car. I think the Citroën C4 looks

really cool. It's got like the black

accents. I don't like how thin the tires

look like from the back though. That's My

main reason I didn't like the Citroën for

looks was because, yeah, the tires look

really skimpy and skinny, like bicycle

wheels on a car basically. I like the

Tesla tires because they're big, fat, and

chunky— 19 inches.

Although it does look like I'm gonna have

to buy some more tires in a month or two,

so I'm going through tires pretty quickly.

My plan is to live in my car for as long

that go over the wheels where there's like

your feet could go in there.

Wonder if you ever reminisce about the

All I ever do is when it's really hot, I

feel like, wow, this feels like Thailand.

makes them feel good. So if it makes them

I got thanked for it, it felt good, I

satisfied my OCD. Giving to charity,

that makes people feel good.

Am I

on track on paying Cami in 10 months? I'm

gonna try and send her £1,800 at

the end of this month. That will get me

below £20K, which will be a psychological

win. I'll get my debt down to £19,900,

which would feel good.

Currently it's at £21,700. I've been

saving And,

uh, roughing it out in my car so I'm

not blowing money on rent, so I can send

the money to her. It is

a bit annoying because when I was doing

Kick, I was making good progress. I got

the debt down to £17,000, and then I got

the crazy idea of getting a Tesla.

And she let me borrow 5K, and I really

wanted the Tesla, so I took it.

And then the debt soared up to 24,800.

I managed to pay her off about 3,000 so

money I make is never actually my money.

but I gotta work hard like a madman.

it's called Schengen. It sounds like

you're in China. It doesn't sound very

European, does it? You could do like 90

But I don't have the guts to go to Europe

because you can't drive on the right-hand

side. The most complicated thing seems

like roundabouts because you go around the

roundabout the other way. Don't you,

in Europe? In the UK, you go around the

roundabout clockwise. I assume in

Europe you go around it anti-clockwise,

so you give way to people on your left.

It sounds really confusing. And then on

the motorway, the fast lane would be on

the inner left, and then the slow lane

would be on the far right. Everything's

like back to front. And also,

I would be on the other side of the car

with my steering wheel compared to

everyone else. Seems kind of weird.

Although in the UK, because of all the

parked cars, you end up driving on the

wrong side of the road so much of the time

anyway, it's not really an issue.

It's really annoying how all of Europe

drives on the other side of the road, but

for some reason the UK was like, oh,

let's drive on the left side.

All I know is Thailand, Japan, and the UK

drive on the left,

and then the rest of the world were like,

we're gonna drive on the right side.

So yeah, I don't know if you need an

expensive Jackery to power an electric

blanket. I don't think electric blankets

use that much electricity, so you could

probably get the cheap one for like £400,

£300. I think the expensive

one for 1,000 or more is to power stuff

like an air fryer, a micro— I don't need

that. I don't need a kitchen. I don't need

It's just really hard to have a girlfriend

someone who has their own house. So then

because most young people in the UK don't

You know what's funny? My driving

instructor told me when he retires he's

gonna live in a van and go to Scotland.

my WhatsApp, and he's in a van,

so he actually did it. It'd be so funny if

he could see me now because I was such a

scared, nervous driver. Now I'm driving

just gonna get a cheap car for like 15K,

and he was like, you think 15K is a cheap

car? Oh, rich boy. People say I'm

gonna get a cheap car and they get like a

£1,000 banger, not 15K car.

I guess I have been pretty spoiled with

cars. I've only ever had electric cars.

Oldest cars I've had have only been 3

years old, 2 years old.

I've never had to do an MOT because all

the cars I got were under 3 years old.

The Tesla, I got to do MOT 2027.

You know what would be nice? Get a van.

Instead of the Tesla, but those are

expensive to get. An electric

van, it's like $20K plus, and I don't

think the range is as good as a Tesla,

but it would be nice to be able to sit

upright or even stand up inside.
