living like Casey neistat

We've been in a different hotel for the

past 3 nights in a row. Every night,

a different hotel. I get the feeling this

is what Casey Neistat's whole life is

like. It's quite nice staying in a

different room every night. A new bed

every night, a new location. It does

get pretty tiring though. And you don't

really get much time to explore the area

because we get here, we walk around a bit,

have food, and then go to bed. And then we

can walk around for a bit, and then we

have to leave for the next hotel. I

actually woke up at a normal time this

time. I woke up at 7 AM. I was just so

tired last night after all that walking in

the Eden Project. I did wake up several

times, like 5 AM, then 6 AM, but I kept

falling back to sleep. I think today's our

last day on holiday. We've got one more

hotel to go to tonight, and then tomorrow

we're going back home. It's gonna be a

long car trip. I'm not looking forward to

it. I just get so carsick. I can't do

anything. I can't watch movies. I can't

play games. It just makes the whole

journey feel so long.

I've had

the same breakfast for 3 days. Bacon and

eggs, sausages. It's always the same.

Now I'm just waiting for everyone else

back in the villa. I don't know why they

call it a villa. It's just a house, isn't

it? Checkout time is a bit early. We have

to be out by 10 AM, so we're in a bit of a

rush. I wouldn't mind having a house like

this. It's kind of strange to have like

the living area on the second floor and

all the bedrooms on the first floor.

looking, then I was like, oh, it's another

seaside.

hear me because it's so windy. I probably

won't make many videos here.

Why is it always so

windy by the beach? It must be so nice to

stay up at that hotel over there. This

one, I bet it's really expensive.

Family just walked off again. I don't know

where they are. It's like they're in such

a rush, in such a hurry just to walk

through this whole place. Just take it

slowly. It's so nice.

The only problem is it's really windy,

makes it hard to make a video. Also, it's

really sunny. I can't see a thing. If I

turn this way, it's all like overcast—

what's the word? Not overcast,

backlighting. I can't see a thing. And I

turn the other way and it's just like

really bright and blinding. Could you

imagine if you lived in this house? It'd

be so cool. You'd be able to see this

every day. I wonder if you get sick of it.

If you see it every day, then I guess you

get kind of bored. I'm using this

microphone because yesterday I checked my

videos when I was at the beach and you

couldn't hear a thing I was saying. It was

just so windy. I really need that wind

muff, don't I? I left it at home. I left

my Rode microphone and the big fluffy

Fluffy wind muff at home. I wouldn't be

able to use it anyway because because of

this phone, the wind muff just ends up

blocking up half the screen. Such a shame.

like it. It's like too posh. The food was

okay. It was kind of overpriced. It took

ages. We waited like half an hour just to

get ice cream and some cake. This is our

next hotel.

Deer Park Country House. Apparently that

big green building wasn't our hotel, it

was just a reception place. We have to go

down this road to find our rooms, and

apparently there's no Wi-Fi in the rooms.

There's a stupid dog barking like crazy

behind me, it's driving me nuts. How am I

supposed to upload my final video when

there's no Wi-Fi in the rooms? I think our

rooms are here. It says my room's Maple.

This place doesn't look very nice, to be

honest. It's like little shacks in the

middle of nowhere. Don't even have Wi-Fi

in the rooms. I found Maple. It's my room.

I guess. Kind of look like it's like

an old granny's room.

This room's the same as the other one. I

like this one. This one's a double as

well. Yeah, they're all doubles.

Ah, here we are. We just got downgraded to

the other room, then the other room was

exactly the same. The furniture is just

so old-fashioned. Look at it. It's like

we've gone back 50 years in time. Oh,

we have a bathtub.

That's nice. At least there's something

good about this place. I really wanted to

have another bath after the first hotel.

First hotel was the best, wasn't it?

After that, the rest of the hotels have

just been like my grandparents' house.

They gave us some shampoo, I guess. What

is this?

Duck Island. I just don't understand

how you can have a hotel in 2016 and they

don't have Wi-Fi in the rooms. It's just

terrible. My dad didn't really check to

see if the rooms had Wi-Fi or not because

it's not really important to him. He

doesn't do anything on the internet. He

has an iPhone, but he has no apps

installed on it. He only uses it as a

phone. Who uses a smartphone just as a

phone? So I'm not going to be able to

upload today's video. Not going to be able

to check anything online. It's going to be

fantastic. It's just so disappointing.

So cold here, it's freezing. There's,

there's nothing around here, it's just

like countryside. There's no Wi-Fi in the

rooms. Just loads of old people, old

people everywhere. I think this is the

kind of place you'd like to go to just

before you die. See, we thought, we

thought the hotel was this building, and

then they told us our rooms aren't here,

we'd have to walk down the road.

Oh look, there's a weird, weird house over

there. Weird wooden house suspended

in the air.

It's called Deer Park Hotel, but I haven't

seen any deers yet. No signs of the deers.

Maybe they're hiding, hiding from the

visitors. The deers are over there.

They don't look very friendly. They look a

or maybe defensive.

I guess it's quite nice here. It's very

peaceful. Just feels so strange.

There's so much land. Look at it, it goes

off all the way into that— into those

hills. There's just nothing here.

It's countryside, unspoiled countryside.

It's just so strange. You have places like

Tokyo, New York, where it's just sprawling

cities, skyscrapers, and buildings, and

then you have places like this, and it's

just countryside, trees, grass,

nothingness. They said at reception no

Wi-Fi in the rooms. How can they not have

Wi-Fi in the rooms? It's like they only

have old people staying here, that old

people don't care about Wi-Fi. Most of

their customers are probably old people.

It's just, I don't understand old people.

Why do you have to be old to not have any

interest in having Wi-Fi or not?

Seriously though, everyone here. All the

guests here are old people. That's why the

whole place looks so old. Looks like

stepping back 100 years in time. At least

they have Wi-Fi in this room. I got the

Wi-Fi only here. Yeah, only in the main

building, not in our rooms. Can you do it

for me? It's, it's their part.

They only have Wi-Fi in this part of the

building. The whole place smells kind of

funny as well, like old people smell.

They serve Deer Park venison. It's with

the deers we saw earlier outside. That's

so sinister.

There's Wi-Fi in the main building. Um,

there's like a big, like a big mansion

with all the rooms. Not the sleeping

rooms, but living rooms where you can just

sit down and the dining rooms. That

building has Wi-Fi and it seems pretty

fast, so if I finish editing now and

upload it when we go for dinner, I might

be able to upload today's video tonight.

It's just that the sleeping rooms are in a

separate building quite far away from the

main building and there's no Wi-Fi in

here. No Wi-Fi in my room or anyone else's

room, but the, the Wi-Fi in the main

building seems pretty fast, so hopefully I

should be able to upload, uh, today's

video. Maybe it will take an hour if

it's decent Wi-Fi, maybe less than an

hour. I just feel so tired. I just want to

go to bed. I don't really feel like going

for dinner, but we have a long

drive drive back home tomorrow, maybe 4

hours or 3 hours. I'm not looking forward

to it. It is really nice here.

It's very relaxed, calm, but it's just

countryside. There's not really anything

around here, and it's just so posh.

Everyone speaks here so posh. If you think

my accent's posh, you should hear the

people here. But this feels kind of

strange. I'm not sure what we're going to

be doing tomorrow. There's not really much

else to see. We walked around and that's

pretty much it, unless we're going to go

drive somewhere. There's nothing around

here. It's just countryside, just pure

countryside.

So I guess we'll see tomorrow. I guess, I

guess I'll end this video now and then
