Helldivers 2 - What is the BEST support stratagem against Terminids？

What are the best support stratagems

against Terminids? That is the question

we're going to be asking and answering

hopefully today. So as you can see, I have

the flamethrower here and also the jump

pack. I believe these 2 support stratagems

are a really great combination when you're

fighting against Terminids. So the reason

why is because Terminids like to swarm up

and fire is good against swarms. And the

jump pack, well, it's kind of

self-explanatory. You can jump away if you

start getting swarmed. You can also do

cool little things like you could jump up

onto this rock like that, and then you

have a bit of safety from down below. So

I'm going to show you why I believe the

flamethrower is really good against

Terminids. It's also really good if you

combine it with the, um, the booster bonus

thing. You can get bonus 25% flame damage

to fire stratagems if

you unlock the module at the bridge,

which I have. So you can see the

flamethrower absolutely melts Chargers in

their thick armor. Cool thing about the

flamethrower is you can also use it whilst

moving around, so you can even do— oh,

he's lost both his front leg armor. I'm

getting crushed. Yeah, so like I was

saying, you can do a dive like this and

still shoot the flamer, which is pretty

cool. See, like that. So you can stay

mobile whilst flaming stuff as well as

yourself. So yeah, it's pretty good

against swarms of enemies. So I really

find the flamethrower to be pretty good

against Terminids. So you can see like

this, you can just melt them and yourself.

Yeah, it's a pretty risky weapon because

if you set enemies on fire and they come

up to you and touch you, then it catches

you on fire as well. So It's a bit of an

unsafe, risky weapon, but very useful

in certain situations. Where's the

flamethrower and my backpack?

See, look, I just jumped up here where I'm

pretty safe thanks to the backpack.

So I don't know if the backpack counts as

a support stratagem. I guess it does.

It's not really a weapon though. Uh, it

can kind of count. We'll do 2 more other

support weapons and I'll show you why

they're also pretty good. So it's not very

good against the Bile Titan. I have tried

to kill Bile Titans with the flamethrower,

but it just doesn't really seem to do much

against it. You can go through entire

canisters and it just sits there laughing

at you. Maybe I can take it out,

it's not really looking at me.

Oh, it just punted me across the map.

So there's a cool thing you can do when

the Chargers are charging at you like

this, you can just jetpack above them onto

their backs and then you're kind of safe

as long as you stay on the back, and then

you can like rodeo on top of them whilst

flaming everything else. It's pretty

funny. Just don't accidentally get

crushed like that. So we nearly have full

jetpack recharged already. It's charged up

again. Watch this.

Where's he gone? There he is.

The cool thing is you can keep flaming

whilst jetpacking, kind of like Boba Fett.

Whoa, it nearly flipped me.

There's so many Chargers.

You can really see how good the

flamethrower is here. That's one Charger

down, and that's all of my flame out.

I've got Incendiary Impact, which is also

pretty good against Chargers. Watch.

Haha. And then I've got some

napalm to finish them off.

And then we have the autocannon, which is

also pretty good against Terminators— I

mean Terminids. It's like an explosive

rifle and it can do some decent damage,

but the reload time is quite slow, as you

can see. And if you hit the right spots on

the Chargers, you can actually kill them

pretty easily. Unfortunately, the bullets

do bounce off of its front armor. So you

kind of have to get to its weak spot when

armor has been cracked off.

Against Bile Titans, again, it's not great

unless you get the weak spot because these

bullets do ricochet really easily.

They can be pretty powerful against the

smaller enemies unless you get whacked

in the backside like that. Okay, moving on

to the other support stratagems. I think

the Airburst Rocket Launcher is amazing

against Terminids because watch this, you

can just blow up a everything, including

your teammate. I just killed everyone.

Whatever. Now this is a really cool weapon

because it's like a rocket launcher. Oh my

god, it's like— oh my god, get out my

face, I'm trying to reload.

Stupid things. The Blitzer

shotgun is pretty good as well against

basically everything. Oh my God, I really

need the airburst. Is it reloaded? Watch

this, watch, watch, watch. You stupid

rock, get out of the way. Watch, watch.

Oh, it's not reloaded. Come on, reload it.

Oh my God, I'm gonna die.

I am dead. It's confusing because it looks

like it's reloaded, it has something in

it. But it's not reloaded. I think it's

bugged. I'm not respawning.

Okay, I respawned since the Airburst

Rocket Launcher has been swamped. I'll

show you my other favorite support

stratagem against Terminids. I think you

can guess what it is. Come on,

where is it?

The Patriot mech system. So this

is pretty self-explanatory. You got

machine guns, rockets— what the hell just

happened? If I can get into it.

So you got machine guns And

you've got armor, and I think you can also

crush things if you walk into it.

Look, you can just shred things. Entire

enemy mobs just get shredded.

I've killed 34.

I've killed nearly 38.

Oh, it blew up. I didn't even get to use

the rockets. I killed like 40 of them.

Yeah, that was pretty good. Now if I can

get the airburst rocket launcher back—

there it is. My whole team left.

And actually reload it this time.

Why don't I have a team?

This shotgun thing's not very good at

things that are far away.

Sometimes Helldivers 2 is weird because it

won't give you a team even though I put

the SOS beacon down.

Okay, watch this. We've got a bug breach.

Watch, watch, watch. Oh, I just killed 10.

Now it's kind of hard to reload because it

takes a long time. You have to stop

moving. I got 2 Bile Titans chasing me.

I got 500 kg bomb.

Still don't have a team.

Oh, I think I got it. Did I? No, I didn't.

Oh my God, I swear that landed right on

it. I got another one. 3,

a 2, a 1.

Oh, come on. Oh my god, how is it still

alive? That was right on top of it.

Yeah, the airburst thing is really rubbish

against the Bile Titans.
