Hello, welcome back to my new mercenary AoE Path of Exile 2 build for AoE grinding and leveling up as quickly as possible. So we're

mostly just going to be using Fragmentation Shot, Fragmentation Rounds, and they look like this. And these are the gems I have on it, I've upgraded it. To have a 3rd gem. So we have 3 gems, which is pretty good. I have Martial Tempo, which increases the attack speed by 25%. I have Ammo Conservation, which gives you a

25% chance to not consume a bolt, and also Double Barrel, which gives you 30% less reload speed and loads an additional bolt. And I also have this item, it's called Bushwhack Lizard Scale Boots, and what this does is Um, I forgot what— oh, it does, uh, it pins enemies with physical damage. So when you hit them with

your bolts, they're gonna get pinned 100% of the time. And then as for the skill tree, I've basically gone all the way down to the Outer Rim to get this crossbow stuff because the crossbow stuff's pretty good, and obviously that's what you want as a character that uses a crossbow all the time. So I did diverge into

this bit just to grab the 10%, 15% stun buildup, 10% projectile damage. And this one, Heavy Ammunition, gives you 40% increased projectile damage plus some other stuff. So it's pretty good and it's not too far to reach into it. And then I focus the rest of my points just to go all the way down. These just give

attributes, so that's a bit boring. And then I've got a couple in here because they also give projectile damage increases, and I'm gonna get these next. But really you want this one. You want the crossbow stuff because you get 12% increased damage with crossbows, 12%, another 12%, so that's like 36%. And you get this one 15% chance

for crossbow attacks to not consume a bolt. So in combination with that gem, because we've already got this one 25% chance to not consume a bolt plus that 15%, we got 40% chance of not consuming a bolt, which is pretty good. Sometimes you get really lucky and can shoot like 6 or 7 bolts in a row without

having to reload. So we also got 10% crit chance, 10% crit chance, 10% crit chance. And also this one's really good, Power Shots. You get reduced attack speed with crossbows, but you get 80% increased critical damage bonus. So that's pretty good, 80%. And also 15%, 15% reload speed, and 25% increased damage with crossbows for each type of

ammunition. So that's a lot of damage plus stuff, so that's good. So the way that it works is by default we have 2 bolts in our fragmentation shot, but we've got 40% chance of not using a bolt. So it might do— it might do something like 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3,

1, 2, Well, it's kind of random. Sometimes you can get like 5 or 6 shots in a row. So yeah, you've got good rapid fire because you've got that 25% speed increase. And, um, yeah, it's basically going for speed increase and not use a bolt gems. You could go for more damage, but I prefer to go for

the, the random chance of not having to reload plus speed. Yeah, it's pretty good. So I've been using this build to clear large enemies of mobs. And also bosses, and it's been going pretty well so far. So as you can see, even without damage modifiers, you do quite a lot of damage. Oh, that's one of the bosses.

I didn't really want to do that yet, but okay, we can have a go at the boss. Although for bosses, you might want to switch out something. Oh, it spawned me back at the beginning of the map instead of at the boss. Okay, I guess we're not doing the boss. Whatever. I think for bosses, you might want

to switch in for the poison thing, because the poison debuff helps you do a bit more damage.

Otherwise, the boss fights just take insanely long. But for these packs of mobs, I find that just spraying at them with, with fragmentation rounds and rapid speed without reloading is pretty effective. See how many shots we're getting off there without having to reload?

And things die pretty quickly anyway, so you don't really need stuff like 35% physical damage boost. What would make it even better is if you can get a crossbow that loads an additional bolt, but I haven't found one yet. I've been trying to gamble buying it from the merchant vendor, but I can't seem to get one yet,

and I need more gold. So also, you might not know this, you can actually put a bow as your secondary weapon and you get the benefits from its attributes. You can use the bow like this, like— oh,

you need the Bow Shot equipped. Where is it? Bow Shot. Yeah, then it automatically equips it. You can use the bow, but because we're not a Ranger

Because we're not a ranger, we don't have any bow skills, so it's kind of pointless. Oh, there's a boss. Yeah, this time try not to get one-shot. Oh my god, he just one-shot me again. I can't believe it. That boss is so annoying. We're not very tanky with this build. We didn't really get evasion perks or anything.

Probably need to level up a few more times to take on that boss, really.

So yeah, you see the chains when I hit them?

That's because we got those boots. The orange legendary boots gives you physical damage is pinning, which is pretty damn good. Look, see, they all get chained down, they can't move.

This feels kind of evil. They're running through the jungle just massacring this monkey. Monkeys getting slaughtered.

Well, they're evil monkeys, aren't they? Look, they got little baby monkeys. Just massacring the family.

Sharp Stink. There's actually perks where you do more damage against rare bosses, like, well, not bosses, but like mini bosses,

which would be nice because it takes ages to kill them. Oh, I got a gem and an orb. What does Vow Orb do? Modifies an item, corrupts it. Oh, I can do that on my skills.

I can't do it on Frag Shot.

I can do it on Ripwire Ballista, Galvanic Shards, Explosive Shot. I'll do it on my Ballista. Corrupt. Oh, now I've got 3 sockets, but it's corrupted. I don't know what that means.

I haven't really used the ballista much. I guess it's okay, I don't really find it necessary.

And I got a gem, didn't I?

Uh, I don't really want to upgrade this stuff.

Yeah, there's so many orbs and things, it's confusing. You lose track of what does what. There's so many little gems and things that you can right-click to upgrade stuff.

Yeah, so this is my AoE build.

So the ballista does this, it just pins them down, and it also attracts the aggro and gets one-shot, so it ends up just dying straight away most of the time.
