I visited Malaysia - Pros and cons [3fD2z15fVoY]

Hey, and welcome to my review video of

Malaysia. So I went to Malaysia for a few

weeks, uh, a week ago, and I recently got

back, and I wanted to make a video talking

about the things I didn't like about

Malaysia. So if you're not a fan of

complaining or negativity, then what

are you doing subscribed to my channel in

the first place? Because that's mainly

what I like to do, and I don't want to see

any dumb comments from people saying

things like Oh, it's a Muslim country. I

know it's a Muslim country. And I don't

see any comments saying things like, oh,

it's their culture, you should respect

their culture. Because no, I'm not

respecting people's cultures just because

it's a culture. Things should earn

respect. They shouldn't just be given

respect because it is something. Just

because it's a culture, because it's

someone's culture, doesn't make it immune

from criticism or from my complaining.

There's Middle Eastern countries in the

Middle East where they tie people to

wooden stakes and stone them to death. Am

I going to respect that part of their

culture just because it's their culture?

No, it's barbaric and stupid and they

should stop doing it. And I don't want to

hear anything from people saying things

like, oh, no one's forcing you to go to

Malaysia. Um, I know, I would never

personally choose to go to Malaysia. The

only reason I've been to Malaysia about 5

or 6 times is because my mum's from

Malaysia, I have a lot of relatives in

Malaysia, my family likes to go to

Malaysia, and I usually end up getting

dragged along. To Malaysia. If it was up

to me, I wouldn't go in the first place.

Okay, so number 1 complaint was, and this

was— this is a pretty big complaint for me

as a huge pork lover, one of my favorite

meats. My favorite meat is hands down

pork. It is a magical animal. So many

delicious meats come from the pig, and you

can't enjoy any of these meats when you're

in Malaysia. For the first time in my

entire life, I went without eating pork

for an entire 2 weeks because in Malaysia

most places don't sell pork because it's a

Muslim country. Yeah, there are a few

places, maybe there's special shops here

and there where you can buy pork, but I'm

too lazy and I'm not that desperate to eat

pork to hunt down and search

out for these special places that sell

pork. It was just kind of irritating going

to a nice restaurant or not being able to

find pork products at the breakfast buffet

at the hotel. When I come down for

breakfast at a hotel, all I want to eat is

some sausages and maybe some bacon. And

you can't have any of those things in

Malaysia because, like I said before,

it's a Muslim country and they don't

really eat pork there. I'm not sure why

Muslims aren't allowed to eat pork. I

guess there's some kind of reason for it.

Anyway, they have weird imitation versions

of sausages in Malaysia. For example,

they have chicken sausages, they have beef

sausages, and they have vegetarian

sausages, which just tasted like chewing

on plastic. It was disgusting. All of them

were just weird. And they also had this

beef bacon, which kind of tasted like dog

food. Another problem in Malaysia was

beer. Because it's a Muslim country, a lot

of the restaurants don't serve alcohol or

beer. And that was kind of frustrating

when we wanted to drink a beer. We had to

go to a different restaurant, or we had to

go to a different part of the island that

did serve beer because the restaurants at

the hotel we were staying at didn't serve

beer. So if we wanted to drink alcoholic

beverages, we had to go to the other part

of the island. It was kind of

inconvenient, kind of frustrating, um,

having to make extra efforts just, just if

we wanted to drink alcoholic drinks. Uh,

and you would think that a nation of

people that don't drink alcohol and that

don't eat sausages or bacon would be

pretty healthy. Um, but that's not the

case. There were fat people everywhere.

So apparently not drinking beer and not

eating bacon doesn't stop you from being

fat. Another problem is there aren't many

shops in Malaysia apart from, you know,

the main shopping areas. I'm used to

living in Japan where there's convenience

stores everywhere. There's convenience

stores in front of convenience stores in

some— on some streets in Japan. You can't

go anywhere without finding at least 5

convenience stores on the same street,

and it's really convenient because you

just go in, you can buy anything you want—

a drink, a sandwich, you can go to the

toilet. But in Malaysia, it was very rare

to find a shop, um,

on a street where there weren't any shops.

There were just neighborhoods in Malaysia

where there were nothing but apartments

and houses and no shops or convenience

stores to, you know, buy a sandwich. And

that leads on to my next, uh, topic:

sandwiches. It's very difficult to find a

good sandwich in Malaysia. A lot of people

in Malaysia don't eat sandwiches, which is

kind of shocking. I don't understand how

an entire nation of people could not— can

just not eat sandwiches. A lot of the food

in Malaysia consisted of crabs, lobsters,

prawns soaked in some kind of orange

liquid. That was like an occurring theme.

That I kept seeing in Malaysia when it

came to food. When I was in Malaysia,

most of the time I just had Western food

or Chinese food. I had a lot of steaks,

burgers, and sandwiches. I did try

out some of the local food. I pinched it

from my sister's or my mum's plates who

did order local food, and I didn't really

like any of it. I guess the beef and

chicken satays were quite nice, but they

were a bit too sweet for my taste. I don't

really— I'm not really a big fan of mixing

sweet things with meat. I think that's

kind of weird. My next complaint is it was

way too hot. I'm not a fan of hot

countries. I don't like feeling hot or

sweating all of the time. I like to wear

layers of clothing. I'm not really a fan

of single-layer clothing. Um,

also, I didn't like having to put sun

cream on all of the time. Every time I

wanted to go outside, you had to put sun

cream on, otherwise you'd get sunburnt and

it would make you feel sticky and

horrible. I just felt really fed up

and tired. I didn't feel like moving a lot

of the time just because it was so

unbearably hot. It was also kind of

confusing sometimes because inside of

buildings it would be really cold because

they would have the air conditioning on

full blast and I would be freezing. I

would have to wear 2 shirts and my hoodie

and I would still feel kind of cold inside

of shopping malls, inside of hotels. And

then when we went outside, it would be

boiling hot, and I would feel really

stupid for wearing 2 shirts and a hoodie.

And then I would take off a shirt and my

hoodie, and then we'd go back inside some

kind of building, and I would be freezing

cold again. Another big problem for me was

the toilet situation. A lot of the toilets

in Malaysia don't actually have toilet

paper in them because people in Malaysia

prefer to wash their bumholes using a hose

and water. And I guess that is kind of

more hygienic, but I don't like it. It's

strange. I don't like the sensation of

having water sprayed up there. It just

feels wrong. And there was one time I went

to a shopping center and I really needed

the toilet, but there was no toilet paper

in the toilets and I didn't feel like

spraying myself, so I decided to hold it

in and it was, it was really

uncomfortable. And it just would be nice

if they had toilet paper in the toilets.

The thing is, if you use the hose and then

you spray yourself, then you end up having

a wet bum, and you kind of need toilet

paper to dry your bum. Otherwise, your

underwear and your trousers get wet as

well when you put it back up. I guess some

people could criticize me and say, oh,

you're not very hygienic because you don't

use water to wash your bumhole after

you've done a number 2. Well, I've been

using tissue paper to wipe for the last 29

years of my life, and up until now I've

never had any problems with hygiene,

thank you very much. Another thing I

noticed when I was in Malaysia was I

didn't feel attracted to any of the women

in Malaysia. And a lot of people are going

to say, oh, why is it important if you

feel attracted to girls or not? You're

married, you have a wife, you shouldn't be

looking at other women in the first place.

Well, the thing is, just because I'm

married, just because I have a wife,

doesn't mean I don't enjoy looking at a

pretty face when I'm out in public. And I

just didn't really feel attracted to any

of the women in Malaysia. I'm really

sorry. I'm not saying that they're all

ugly. It's just that I didn't personally

feel physically attracted to the people of

Malaysia apart from a few girls, but they

were Chinese anyway, so that doesn't

really count. And if you think that men

aren't checking out women all of the time

when they're outside, even if they have

girlfriends or a wife, then you're kind of

naive because Let me, let me tell you a

secret as a guy. All guys are checking out

other girls outside all the time, and

they're just pretending not to, or they're

doing it secretly. And if they say that

they're not, then they're lying. It just

makes me feel good to be in a country, to

be outside, where there's lots of girls

that I feel attracted to. If you gave me a

choice, hey Daniel, would you rather live

in a country where everyone was ugly or in

a country where everyone was hot and sexy?

I think that's a pretty easy decision to

make. One of the main reasons why I felt

so depressed in England, and the main

reason why I decided to leave England in

the first place, was just because I didn't

feel attracted to the women there. I could

go into town and I could see 100 girls and

I wouldn't feel attracted to any of them.

And then I'd go to Chinatown in London and

I'd see one person with straight black

hair who's Asian, and then my heart would

start racing really fast, and I'd feel

very excited. So those were the 5 things

that I didn't like about Malaysia. Very

hard to get your hands on pork products,

beer. I didn't really feel very attracted

to the women there. Too hot. I didn't like

washing my bum with a hose and water.

There were things I liked about Malaysia.

For example, the people were very

friendly, very warm and kind. Everyone

spoke great English in Malaysia compared

Compared to Japan where no one speaks

English, everyone's kind of reserved,

they come off across as a bit cold and

robotic, and, um, it's very affordable and

cheap in Malaysia. You know those hotels I

stayed at? They looked very fancy, very

expensive. They weren't expensive at all,

they were very affordable. So, um, yeah,
