Japanese apartment tour - how much does rent cost

Hey, and welcome to my Japanese apartment

tour. Today we're going to be doing a tour

in my Japanese apartment, which I, I share

with my girlfriend. She also lives here

and I live with her, and I'm paying half

of the rent. How much is the rent in

Japan, you might be asking me, because

lots of people seem to be interested in

how much it costs to live in Japan because

Maybe because lots of people are

interested in living in Japan, and I live

in Japan, and it's very interesting. So

I'm going to tell you the rents. How much

does it cost to live in a place like this,

you might be asking? Well, it's ¥46,000.

I'm not sure how much that is in your

country, but I pay half the rent, so I pay

¥23,000, plus I also have to pay for

electricity, which runs things like the

heater. Winter's usually colder. I mean,

winter's usually more expensive because

it's colder. So, um, yeah, expect that the

expensive electricity— electricity

bill will be more expensive in the winter

unless you like to be very cold all the

time, and I don't like to be cold. So this

is the kind of apartment you can get in

this area for about ¥46,000. That's

¥46,000 every month if you were interested

in knowing that. And for that money you

get a room which is about this big,

and there's plenty of room as

you can see me walking around the room.

Let me just give you a better view of it.

So in this room there's space for a double

bed, a TV, a table. You can put stuff

on shelves. And we also have a Christmas

tree. It looks pretty nice, doesn't it?

And you can have stuff in the corner like

this. There's even a closet full of

clothing. And yeah,

that's basically— I don't really know what

else to show you. This is the main room of

the apartment. It's a one-room apartment,

so you only get one room, but you also get

a few other rooms. Let me show you the

other rooms. Oh, there's also this little

gadget thing. So if someone rings the

doorbell You can, you can press this

button and you can talk to the person

who's ringing your doorbell without

actually having to see that person's ugly

face. You also get a nice sliding door for

some privacy. Oh,

that's squeaky. So here's the kitchen.

You also get a fairly spacious kitchen.

Um, I guess it's not really a kitchen,

it's more like a hallway, and then you

have a stove and a cupboard and a sink in

the side— on the side of the hallway.

And, um, yeah, this is where all the

cooking magic happens. My girlfriend makes

me breakfast every morning. We have fried

eggs and toast and a banana. Uh, yeah,

this is the size of the kitchen. It's not

really much, but you can't expect to get a

huge kitchen for the price, for 46 ¥1,000,

you're not really going to get a huge

kitchen. Um, yeah, I don't really know

what else you want to know. There's a

microwave, sink, um, some bins,

and let's have a look in the toilet.

Whoops, I forgot to turn the light off.

Oh yeah, this is the toilet. Just has a

toilet and a little wash basin on the top

of the toilet.

Not much to say about that. Let's turn off

the light to save electricity. You also

get a little window here so you can

tell if someone's in there. And this is

the entrance where you put your shoes.

You don't want to walk into someone's

apartment with your shoes on in Japan.

That's very rude and not what they do

here. And then you also have a shower

room.

With a tiny little bathroom, and you get a

shower and a sink. For some reason, the

sink keeps getting blocked up, and it's a

bit annoying. Let me show you.

You see,

it's taking a very long time for the water

to drain. Down the drain. And this is

a shower. You have to use this little knob

thing to switch between which hole you

want the water to come out of.

Sometimes this gets stuck and then you

have to take this cap off and then tighten

it with a screwdriver. Look, the

screwdriver's here. It's not, it's not a

great shower, to be honest. But, um,

yeah, there's also— oh look, there's a

mirror as well so you can see yourself

when you're having a shower. Oh, that's

me, in case you're wondering.

This is what it looks like when a fully

grown man is sitting inside of the

bathtub. This is a very typical-sized

Japanese bathtub and You can actually fit

2 grown people in here. I've taken a bath

before with my girlfriend. We both sat in

here. I sat like this, and then she sat in

between my legs, and it was pretty fun.

If you're in the bathtub together with

your girlfriend, I would not recommend

ejaculating underwater because it's really

difficult to rinse off. When semen is wet,

it turns into glue. It becomes extremely

sticky and It took a very long time to

wash off, and it just wasn't worth— worth

the effort. So if you're wondering, if you

were thinking that this bathtub's too

small for you, then unless you're an

extremely fat person, I don't think you'll

have any difficulty squeezing into this

What else is there? There must be

something else. How can I make this 10

minutes? Think,

think. Oh, I don't know.

Okay, let's look in the closet.

It's a closet full of my girlfriend's

clothing. She has a lot of clothing for a

tiny person. She has a lot of coats. She

has about 6 or 7 coats. And I only have

one jacket. It's not a jacket, it's a

hoodie. Just because it has a zip doesn't

mean it's a jacket. You know what I can't

stand? I can't stand it when I'm wearing a

hoodie and then people say it's a jacket.

Maybe you can call it a jackie. That was

the name of my boss from the petrol

station. She was a nice person, I guess.

A bit too talkative. I don't know if she

still watches my YouTube channel. And

here's my girlfriend's shoes.

Lots of shoes, typical woman. I don't

understand why she needs so many shoes. I

have one pair of shoes and a pair of

slippers, that's it. And she has 10

different pairs of shoes. Oh dear, I'll

never understand why women are like that

sometimes. And yeah.
