Why I bought 850 shares of $BNGO

Hello and welcome back to a new video

about stocks. So today I want to talk

about why I decided to purchase 850

shares of BioNano— what's it called—

NanoBioGenomics. So if you know anything

about the stock markets, you may be aware

that some of the up-and-coming emerging

industries that are going to be absolutely

huge in the future are electric vehicles

and genomics, gene editing, and also the

plant-based food industry. These

industries are going to be huge. They

aren't huge as of now, but, you know, if

you look at the future, then I think it's

pretty obvious that these 3 sectors are

going to be very big in the short-term,

near-coming long future.

You see, the thing about investing is you

could just invest a lot of money into big

companies that are already established

like Facebook or Amazon or Apple, but your

money is not really gonna 2x or 5x. It's

definitely not gonna 10x anytime soon.

You can have your money tied up in Apple

or Facebook for years and years and years,

maybe even decades, and you probably won't

even get a 5x, maybe a 2x after a couple

years if you're lucky. So if you want to

make a lot of money on the stock market,

you want to get in on companies and

industries and sectors in the market that

are just about to begin, you know, just at

the beginning of the S-curve. They call it

the S-curve because shaped like an S, and

the 3 industries I just mentioned are just

starting their journey on the S-curve.

We're right at the bottom, starting to

curve up, you know, for that first bend in

the S, and gene editing is going to be

huge. And electric vehicles, that's going

to be huge also because governments around

the world— China, England, America—

they're going to ban— they've already said

they're going to ban the sale of gas and

petrol vehicles by 2030. So after 2030,

um, most people are going to be driving

electric vehicles. 2040, definitely most

people are going to be driving electric

vehicles. By then, the technology is going

to be cheaper, it's going to be way more

efficient to run and maintain an electric

vehicle compared to a gas or petrol

vehicle. And plant-based foods also

becoming a thing because governments are

realizing that it's really not sustainable

to have billions of people all around the

world just consuming meat. You know, the

carbon footprint for eating meat is, is

just so high compared to someone who

doesn't eat meat. So someone who decides

to have steak for dinner can reduce their

carbon footprint by like 90% if they just

had something else, you know, vegetarian

or plant-based. So I've decided, I've

decided to invest my hard-earned

inheritance money into these 3 sectors:

gene editing, electric vehicles, and

plant-based foods. I won't get into

electric vehicles or the plant-based food

stuff in this video. Today I want to focus

on Bionanics Genome— what's

it called? I keep forgetting. BNGO. Yeah.

So there's many gene editing therapy

companies out there as of now. There's

CRISPR and there's, there's this other

one. I forgot the name, but they're

already very overvalued. If you go onto

the stock market and you look them up,

you'll see that they're over $100 for one

share. And that's kind of high. You don't

really want to be plowing your money into

these companies when they're already

valuated so high. Really, you want to get

in way, way earlier. You know, the time to

get into CRISPR would have been years ago

when it was around $10 or $20 for a share,

and then you ride up to where it is now.

Right now it's just way too high, and even

Cathie Wood is selling off hundreds of

thousands of shares of CRISPR. So I think

a better strategy if you want to 2x or 5x

or 10x your money in the short-term,

near-term future, which is like in a year

or less than a year even, the best thing

to do would be to find companies that

haven't run up yet. That don't have $100+

per share valuations. And, you know,

they're just starting out. Maybe penny

stocks would be good if you're up for the

risk or, you know, small, small shares

like BNGO, which is only about $11 a

share now. It recently went up from about

$5 a share to $11 in just January.

Yeah, the beginning of January is about $4

or $5 for one share. Now it's about $11.

So I really regret not finding out about

this stock earlier, but I don't think it's

too late. People are saying that BNGO is

going to double, it's going to triple,

it's going to be like an $80 stock by the

end of this year, maybe even a $40 stock

by the end of March or April. Who knows?

In the short term, BNGO is just going to

go higher and higher and higher because

it's getting more exposure. People finding

out about it, they're realizing that,

yeah, gene editing therapy is going to be

huge. What is gene editing therapy

and treatment, stuff like that? Well,

basically they use genomic technology to

edit genes and get rid of diseases like

cancer. So if someone is likely to get

cancer, they can scan their genome and

then if the genes say that they're going

to get some kind of disease, they can just

splice it out, you know, get rid of it.

And then that person will be fine.

They've already successfully treated

things like leukemia, and so it's a tested

and proven technology, and it's just

getting started really. It's just

beginning. It's not really a mainstream

huge thing yet that's adopted by hospitals

worldwide, but the technology and the

research is growing and it's developing,

and it feels good to be investing money

into something that's helping literally

helping cure cancer. You know, you could

go and invest in cigarette companies or

oil companies, and if you don't really

care about damaging the world or damaging

people's health, then sure, just go ahead

and get those stocks. But there's

something nice about investing in

companies that are trying to save the

world and help the planet and cut down on

carbon emissions and cure cancer. So I

feel pretty good about having 850 shares

of BioNano Genomics, Genomics, makes me

feel good inside. Plus, it's also very

nice that this stock could 10x within a

few years, and then my lovely £6,000— how

much money I put into it? Yeah, my lovely

£6,000 investment is just gonna 10x and

it'll be £60,000. All I

have to do is just not sell, you know,

just buy and hold. That's how Warren

Buffett got rich. He didn't get rich by

swing trading or day trading. He just

found good companies that haven't blown up

yet. So back in his day would have been

stuff like Coca-Cola or McDonald's or I

don't know what else he has, but he got in

early and he just bought loads of shares

and he just held and he's still holding

them. He still has 100 million shares of

Coca-Cola. He didn't just sell them. So

that's really the best plan when it comes

to investing. You know, you buy small

companies that have a good future and then

you just hold and then you just get the

dividends and then you become rich.

There's a few really great reasons why you

should invest in BNGO. Now, one of the

reasons is they have groundbreaking

advanced gene editing technology, which is

supposed to be better than some of the

other bigger genome editing companies out

there. So they have this Sapphire system,

which is supposed to be really good at

editing genes, and it does a really

efficient job at gene splicing and

that kind of stuff. I'm not really a

scientist, so I don't really know the

technicalities off by memory. So you want

to do your own research and just Google

it. The second reason why people think

BNGO is going to be massive is because

there's been some hints here and there

that Cathie Wood is going to add it to her

ARK Invest ETFs. And you know what happens

every time Cathie Wood adds a stock to her

ETFs, they blow up big time.

Every single stock she's chosen to add to

the ETFs just blow up because number one,

she buys like 100 million shares, or maybe

not 100 million, but she'll buy a couple

hundred thousand shares which are worth

millions. I remember when she got 700,000

shares of Palantir and that was like worth

$12.5 million. And what

do you think that does to the stock? It

drives up the price and everyone sees it

and they start thinking, oh my God, it's

going up, I need to get some too. And then

everyone starts buying, driving the price

up massively. I'm talking massively.

As soon as Cathie Wood decides to add BNGO

to the ARK Invest ETFs, it's gonna blow up

like Mars blowing up. So one of the

main reasons that everyone's buying BNGO

right now, and the reason why the value of

the shares are just blowing up right now,

is because not only because they have

groundbreaking advanced genomic

technology, it's also because people are

anticipating Cathie Wood to add it to the

ARK Invest ETFs. Everyone wants to get in

before Cathie Wood does because they know

what's going to happen. It's going to 2x,

it might even 5x after she adds it to the

ARK ETFs. Look what happened when she

added DraftKings Kings. DraftKings was

like $58, $59 stock, and then Cathie Wood

buys like half a million shares of

DraftKings. And then as soon as that

happens, it shot straight up over $60,

and now it's like trying to reach for $64

a share. That is the power of Cathie Wood.

And people have found lots of hints

hinting that she may buy it, and I think

she would buy it. She bought CRISPR, and

she's really into genome editing

technology and stocks like that. She had

loads of CRISPR, but she started selling

off, um, so she might be looking for a new

genome editing stock to add to the ARK

Invest ETFs, and BNGO could be a great one

to have. So that's why I

feel comfortable buying 850 shares of

BNGO. If it dips, I might buy some more,

but I, I feel like I have quite a lot of

shares already. Maybe 1,000 shares would

be nice to have. We'll see what happens on
