Helldivers 2 – Everything You Need To Know About the New Exo-49 Emancipator Mech

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So

today we're going to be looking at one of

the new exosuits, and you can find it all

the way at the bottom of the Stratagem

support page. It's called the Emancipator

Exosuit, the EXO-49, and it can be

purchased for about 20,000 requisition

points. Um, yeah, it's a pretty cool

looking mech. It's all yellow, it's got

twin autocannons, so no rockets or machine

guns like the other Patriot exosuits. Has

twin autocannons and it's got a 600-second

cooldown. Let's give it a try and find

out, see if it's any good. Okay, so I'm

calling in the Emancipator. It's dropping

in now. Looks pretty cool. I like the

yellow paint. See if it's any good.

It looks like it's got quad autocannons,

not dual autocannons. So get in, uh,

right mouse button does That, that

one-shot. And then second left mouse

button does this. Hold them down together

and you get some pretty rapid-firing

autocannons. Oh my God, it just destroys

everything. Look at this, it just

one-shots almost any of these little guys.

Really, I want to find a charge or

something big. So you got quad

autocannons, is pretty cool, and obviously

explosive damage. Green Bile Titan— I

mean, not Bile Titan, what are they

called? Bile Spewer. Armored walkers,

everything just gets shredded. Look at

this. Hold down both the mouse buttons and

you get pretty rapid firing autocannon

damage. I want to go up against

something a bit stronger though, see how

good the damage actually is, but it's

completely wrecking these small guys and

the spewers. Can do melee, yeah, can do

the stomp. It's not

very accurate though, but— oh my God, I'm

getting ganged up on, turn around! So

these things just get destroyed. Oh, Bile

Titan, I'm going to shoot this thing in

It's taking a lot of damage,

but okay, it went down finally. Oh,

what's over there? I'm nearly out of ammo,

and I'm out of ammo. There you go. So

yeah, the ammo doesn't really last that

long. It's got a 10-minute cooldown. So

yeah, it is kind of like a stratagem where

you can't really use it for very— oh,

there's a Charger. I really wanted to

shoot a Charger with it. Maybe next time I

go up to the Charger and I'll kick it in

the face. Oh. That didn't work, and I got

one-shot by the Charger's Crushing Blow.

And we have a 7-minute cooldown. Wow,

that's a pretty lengthy cooldown, so you

can't really use this a lot of times.

Basically, you want to use it when you

really need to use it. I can see a giant

mushroom over there. I want to see if the

Emancipator can actually shoot it down

from here. Oh, you can! So you could

do long-range objective destruction with

it, with those autocannons.

Quad autocannons, by the way. Oh, look at

these guys. Wow,

the firepower on these autocannons is

actually really good. Look at that.

Oh, a Charger. How many shots does it

take? Oh my God, no! I don't even know

what blew me up. I think I blew myself up.

I was about to nearly kill that Charger.

I got about 3 shots on it. See how much

damage I did to it. Where is it? I think

it died. Oh no, it's over there. I don't

know how much damage I did to it before my

suit blew up. The annoying thing is it is

kind of vulnerable, so it takes a few hits

or an explosive shot and then it blows up,

and then you gotta wait another 7 minutes

or 10 minutes. I think it's like 7 minutes

until you can get another one. So there's

a big bunch of enemies over there. Quick,

get into it before I get blown up.

I think if you shoot things that are too

close to you, you might accidentally blow

yourself up with the autocannons. Whoa,

it didn't take too long to kill the

Charger. Oh, I just head stomped his head.

Oh, he's still alive. Jesus, it takes so

many. It's still alive. How is it still

It seems to take a lot of shots to kill

the Chargers, and it still doesn't kill

it. I'm scared if I shoot it when it's too

close to me, the explosion is going to

kill my suit as well.

It doesn't seem very effective for

Chargers. Look how many shots they take.

It's good for clearing out masses. Oh my

God, and it's down again. Yeah, it wasn't

too great at shooting the Chargers. I did

like 10 or 15 shots on one Charger and it

was still moving. That's just kind of not

very good. Look, they're still alive!

Look at these, the Chargers are still

alive even after all of that. Finish them

off with a 500 kg. That got

them. Oh, that one's still alive. Jesus

Christ, I can't believe it. Okay,

next we're gonna see if the Emancipator is

any good against automatons. We're gonna

do this mission, see if it's any good.

Okay, so first of all, I want to see if I

can blow up that building there.

Oh, maybe I'll see if I can blow up

dropship because he just flared one in.

Obviously these guys just take one hit.

Can I shoot this thing from here?

No. Oh, can I shoot this dropship? Oh,

get out my face! Oh, there's loads here.

Look at the Hulk. Emancipator versus the

Hulk, which one is the better mech

warrior? It's still alive.

I guess you gotta aim for the red eye.

That turret thing's shredding me.

So yeah, you aim for the eye, the Hulks go

But I think even if you don't aim for the

eye, it's doing pretty good damage against

the Hulk. Ran out of ammo on the right

arm. Yeah, it seems pretty good against

your automatons. Am I— I'm not even

hitting it. Oh, 2 hits in the eye for the

Hulk, just like the regular autocannon.

Yeah, the main problem is it just runs out

of ammo really quickly. At least with the

Patriot Exosuit, you've got like 1,000

rounds in the machine gun, and then you've

got the rockets for heavy enemies. The

autocannon is Weaker than the rockets but

more powerful than the machine gun, but

then it has a lot less ammo. Well, more

ammo than the rockets. Just 2-shot that.

I don't know what that is, like a turret.

I've only got 2 shots left.

I want to see if I can destroy its

fabricator from long range.

Can't do first-person mode.

No, I don't think it did enough shots.

Anyway, it was pretty good. Uh, I thought

I was doing an Automaton mission, but it's

given me a bug mission for some reason.

Oh my God, and I just got blown up.

Please don't steal my Emancipator.

Such a long cooldown. I mean, 10 minutes

is ages. Let's cool down

another one. Give it to me, give it,

give it, give it mine. Okay,

try out these charges again. If you shoot

for the legs, I guess that is the weak

spot no matter what weapon you're using,

which makes no sense

why the head is not the weak spot.

Oh, I want to try out the Bile Titan.

Come on, I'm doing quad 4 autocannons on

it and it's— can I blow its head off or

something? There you go, I think I blew

its head off. Yeah, its head's gone

straight off. Took, took like

a quarter of my magazine on both

autocannons. So you probably kill 3 at

most if you're more accurate on the

headshots. Yeah, it's a pretty good

weapon. I do like it. I just wish I had

more ammo.

Wait for something bigger to come out

these holes. Does it shoot all 4 at

the same time? I don't know,
