The beginning of the week you kind of had false hope because stocks went up, and then Wednesday it just all crashed again. Load of useless rubbish. How come Bitcoin gets to $64K all-time highs and then all the Bitcoin mining stocks crash. Doesn't make any sense.

That's why I like Japan. I could have lived like that in Japan for only a couple thousand.

Some words in Japanese are weird as well, like the word for foot and leg is the same. So how do you know if they're talking about your leg or your foot? You just have to guess.

They have— they use the same word for 2 different things.

But it makes sense in the sentence

that if the word leg meant your leg and it also meant your foot, and I said my leg hurts, then how are you going to know if I'm talking about my leg or my foot?

How would you know? You could say, hello, I got shot in my leg. You would instantly think, oh, I got shot in my leg here, not my foot. But if you said that in Japanese, you'd be like, did they get shot in the foot or the leg? I don't know, because the word is the same.

And then the grammar, the sentence structure is all back to front. So when you're trying to think how to construct a Japanese sentence you have to go back to front

to how you would form it in English.
