Elden Ring DLC - How To Build an INSANE DAMAGE ARCANE Build (Shadow of the Erdtree)

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So

today I'm going to be showing you probably

one of the most overpowered arcane-focused

builds in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

DLC using this big two-handed hammer.

It's called the Blood Fiend's Arm and you

can pick it up somewhere here. Uh, you go

to this side of the map and you go to No,

not that. You go to Prospect Town and

there's a bunch of these big giants and

they all carry this weapon, and you have

to do a bit of grinding and eventually

they drop. So for the talismans, for the

talismans, we have the Two-Handed Sword

Talisman, but it works with anything

that's two-handed, increases attacks with

two-handed weapons. We have the Axe

Talisman, increases attack power when you

have charged attacks, like a heavy attack

will work well with this. And the Ritual

Sword Talisman boosts your attack power

when you've got max health, and the

Crusade Insignia increases your attack

power after you defeat an enemy. So for

the affinity, because we're going for

Arcane, it does some interesting things

when you put Royal Knight's Resolve with

the Occult affinity. So as you can

see, when we put the Occult affinity onto

it, we have an S scaling rank on Arcane,

and we're doing a massive 319 damage plus

568 of base physical damage. That's huge,

that's almost 900. And then for the

Wondrous Physick, we're gonna put on—

where is it— um, Boost Strength, and also

maybe Stone-Barbed Cracked Tear to knock

down enemies a bit quicker. And also, if

you want some extra Arcane, you can switch

maybe one of these talismans, like maybe

that one. You can put this onto the Outer

God Heirloom, get a bit more, a bit more

Arcane, and that will increase your damage

output on the base damage for your weapon

by a little bit. So yeah, more Arcane you

have, the more damage you're going to do

with this Arcane build. So this weapon is

good because it actually scales with

Arcane. There's not many weapons in the

game that scale with Arcane. So look at

these daggers— no Arcane, no Arcane,

and none of these have any Arcane stats on

it, so they're not really going to scale

well with Arcane. The only other weapon

that scales really well with Arcane has to

be the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword,

but that's not a very good weapon in my

opinion. Prefer this big club. So what you

want to do to buff up, you want to do

Golden Vow and then pop your flask,

and you want to go two-handed and

you want to pop Royal Knight's Resolve.

And now we're going to do some massive

damage. Watch me one-shot this guy.

7,200 damage pretty good.

Now we can do more damage like this.

Wait, these guys, they've got such a long

wind-up. Even if you dodge it, it's like

they just home in on you. So there's a

special armor set where if you equip it,

you get bonus damage. The armor set I'm

talking about is the Rakshasa Helm and the

Rakshasa Armor. I think you only need 2

pieces equipped for it to actually work,

so we should do a bit more damage.

And the highest damage I've done was like

9,000. I did over 9,000. I'm not sure why

I'm doing less damage. I might have the

wrong talismans or something. Charge

attacks, attack power, 2-handed weapons.

Uh, I don't see why. 7,000 is pretty good,

but it's not amazing. Okay, flow Flask

and Golden Vow,

and then 2-handed, and then Royal Knight's

Resolve, and sneak up on the guy and then

charge up a heavy attack. There,

that's more like it.

9,274. Get rid of his friend. One-shot him

now. See, we do so much more damage now we

got that armor set equipped. It's actually

crazy how much more damage you do just

because of the armor set. And the good

thing is when you loot the enemies, you

get quite a lot of loot because look how

much discovery— we've got 183 discovery.

Discovery increases the odds of you

getting more loot or better loot. So when

you loot these guys, watch, look, I just

got the Soldier's Axe, Soldier's Greave,

and the Smithing Stone all from one guy.

So if you want to do some looting It's

pretty good. So again, just get rid of

these guys. You can one-shot basically

anything that's not a boss, and against

bosses does loads of damage as well.

Watch this, I'm gonna one-shot this guy.

It's not a boss, but it's a tough armored

guy. Watch, one-shot kill!

Can you believe that? Those ones used to

be really tough when you start this area.

And they're kind of scary to go up

against. You've got a big shielded guy

with a mace here, and these guys are

really tough as well. But using all these

buffs, look, basically one-shot

him. Pillager's corpse. Look, I got all

those smith— I've got 2 level 6 smithing

stones and a level 7, and Black Knight

armor. The discovery makes looting so much

better. Watch this guy coming. Also Even

if you're not fully buffed, you keep

staggering them. They can't even move.

It's so easy. I thought this game was

supposed to be difficult. You get the

right build and it's just a piece of cake.

So there's 2 tough guys up here.

As long as you get the element of surprise

and you ambush them so you can charge up a

heavy attack, it's pretty easy, pretty

guaranteed you're going to kill them. I

missed that. Oh, one shot nearly.

Didn't even get to do anything. And then

take out his friend shooting arrows. Just

run side to side, zigzag,

zigzag, and then you just stun

lock him basically until he's

incapacitated. Takes 3 hits,

3 hits incapacitate and stagger them down.

So as long as they're not fast attacking

enemies, you should be pretty safe. So

this little midget guy's here, one shot,

one, nearly one shot.

Why is he on fire? And then over here

there's a red guy. This build's so good,

the damage you do on the first hit is

insane. Watch this. Royal Knight's Resolve

buffs your damage by like 80% for the next

It's like half his health already. Oh,

did he block that? Oh, he nearly got me.

Nice try. Got some— 3

smithing stones.

I forgot what's down that little elevator.

I think if you go this way,

there's a little ladder. Oh,

oh, what? I didn't know you could go down

here. How did I not know that? It's so

obvious. I always go left. How did I not

know you can go down here? I swear I never

saw this staircase before.

Maybe there's like a little hidden boss.

Did not know that. Okay,

drawstring golden grease.

Oh, don't stand

a chance. Oh, what's here?

Maybe a little boss.

I thought I finished this area. Oh, what?

It just goes back to the Site of Grace.

What's the point of that? I thought it

would go somewhere interesting. This is

where we start off and then I go up there.

Huh, well, that was a bit disappointing.

I don't know why they make this massive

moat. Inside of the castle walls.

The moat is supposed to go outside the

castle wall. Seems kind of pointless to

put it inside the castle wall.

I get this feeling Japanese people don't

understand how a castle is supposed to

work. They just think, oh wow, European

castles, so cool.

Because the castles in the

game look cool, but they don't seem like

they'd be very effective. Of an actual

siege. Maybe that's why all the

castles are wrecked in this game, because

they didn't really last very long because

they're badly designed. Is that guy alive

or what? I thought you could go down—

there's like steps down there, but I don't

think you can go down there. Oh, there's

ladder here. I think I have been here

before. Yeah. Oh yeah, I did go here

before. There's like a dragon portrait in

an invisible wall. Can you roll here?

No. This water looks so clean,

so blue and clear. So you go in here and

you roll down there. Oh crap. Oh,

next time just climb down the ladder.
