Elden Ring Hand-to-Hand combat - How to Build a BLEED Monk Build (Shadow of the Erdtree Build)

Today we're going to be making a Dry Leaf

Arts Monk build focusing on blood attacks.

So we're going to get the Ash of War Palm

Blast and put blood affinity. And then for

the talismans, we're going to focus on

blood again by using,

uh, using— what's that one? Blood loss in

vicinity increases attack power. Lord of

Blood's Exaltation. And we're going to

increase our Palm Blast damage by using

Godfrey Icon. Ritual Sword Talisman and

Shard of Alexander. So Palm Blast is

probably one of the best new skills in the

game now, does this massive shock wave

from your palm as the name implies.

So we're going to do some buffs like

Golden Vow, buff our attack power, flask

up to increase our attack power because I

put the strength buff onto the flask,

and I'll show you some insane damage.

Watch this. Also, for the armor, I'm gonna

get rid of this current armor and you want

to replace it with Rakshasa Helm because

this gives you increased damage to foes

when you have the armor set equipped. So

just put it on quickly. If you don't know

how to get it, just Google it. I don't

know, it's just like a boss in a

mausoleum. It's not hard to find. So I put

on the Rakshasa armor. We got all these

buffs. All my buffs got like three buffs,

and then watch this. It's gonna do some

insane damage. Watch.

Oh my god! Four thousand one shot and blew

his friend off the edge. Watch this.

Three thousand. Pretty good damn damage

right there. So I'll show you some blood.

So the good reason why we get blood on

this because you get blood buildup like

that. Oh, look at the blood explosion! So

you also want to go double-handed, so you—

not that. So if you can block— no, that's

not blocking. So if you can block, it

means you've got double-handed equipped.

So double-handed means you're just gonna

do palm strikes much faster, which means

you can build up the blood effect much

quicker. So you're going up against

enemies that don't die in 4 shots like

these guys, you can build up the blood

thing much faster. So this guy on the

right, he's quite tough, so we're gonna

blow off his friend first like this.

Watch this. Boom! And we've already nearly

one-shot this guy, and then finish him off

with some Blood Orb. Oh my god,

he just blew up in blood. 3,000 damage.

Look at all the blood everywhere. I'm

covered in blood as well. Jesus, like I'm

on my period. So this build is really good

against bosses when your boss is tanking

the Mimic. I mean, when your Mimic is

tanking the boss, you can just smash him

from behind using Palm Strikes. Fast kung

fu moves, building up the blood attacks,

and then do that massive blood explosion.

Watch this. He just kicks them both off

the edge. What's that guy doing?

And yeah, it's really good building up the

blood attacks. This guy here is really

tough, but a little trick here is you can

actually palm blast him through the wall.

Watch. Look, look, I did damage and I'm

blasting him through the wall. That is so

stupid. But— oh, he can hit me as well.

He just hit me with his hammer.

I can't seem to get him. Hold on,

it's weird, it's not working now.

Oh, I got him again! And then just finish

him off by running in there.

Oh, how did he survive that? And then

finish this guy off. Palm Blast.

And then do another Palm Blast. This is

such a cheesy way to play the game, but

you can literally beat the really tough

enemies by just spamming Palm Blast, and

they keep getting knocked over. Look at

that, I defeated all the Mausoleum bosses,

including the one that drops this armor

set, just by spamming Palm Blast over and

over again. I need more FP points. It's

such a cheese way of playing the game,

but every time I get stuck, I just switch

to either a blood build or cold build.

With the Dry Leaf Arts. The Dry Leaf

Farts, I mean the Dry Leaf Arts. And yeah,

I just managed to beat and cheese

everything. It's kind of annoying because,

you know, sometimes you want to play

different builds, but then this is the

easiest one and you end up having to

switch back to it. I want to show you this

red guy over here. Not this one. No, I'm

just smashing these people in the face,

little midgets. There's a red guy. I ran

out of Palm Blast because I ran out of FP.

So it's gonna be kind of hard. So I'm not

sure if I can actually defeat this red

guy, but there's a red guy there. These

guys are creepy when you first see them.

You just want to run up to him and smash

him in the face and just start smashing

him like this until you get Palm Blast— I

mean, a Blood Explosion. Oh, I nearly

got him. The problem is I didn't have Palm

Blast. So the challenge I like to do is I

like to spawn at the Shadowkeep and and I

turn left and I go through here and I see

how far I can get before dying. And if I

die too quickly, it means my build's not

very good. But if I don't die, it means my

build's pretty good. So I think this

build's pretty good. I just need more

focus points really, cuz Palm Blaster uses

a lot of focus points. You could use a

talisman that reduces the focus points,

or you could not waste it on these guys

who are supposed to be pretty easy. Look,

you can't even move. You don't really have

to go this way, but I like to try and

clear everything.

You can also grind a lot of Smithing

Stones from this. Look at that! And then

heal up here. Now this bit you definitely

want Palm Blast and a flask,

because sometimes these guys can catch you

off guard if you don't deal with them

quickly. 2 Palm Blasts should— yeah,

easy. Easy,

didn't even touch me. And get the smithing

stone. Smithing stone 4 and 3 drops

here. Then you go up here and you got 2

guys on the right, palm blast them. And

you got 2 guys sitting over here, you can

just kick them off the edge like that. Oh

crap, that didn't work. Okay, palm blast.

What? How did he block it? Didn't even

know you could.

Why is his friend just standing there?

Didn't even help him. It's kind of like a

Force push from Star Wars.

Okay, go this way, get the Blessed Bone.

No, there's a guy down there too. We could

fight him.

Mm, nah, let's just go this way.

This way. The castles in this game always

look so cool, but why do they build these

massive walls like this? What is the

point? What are they trying to keep out?

Why are they so— what kind of giant is

gonna be this big that requires a massive

wall this size to keep them out? Is it

Attack on Titan? There's a drawbridge that

goes nowhere. What is that building here?

I'm pretty sure there's nothing in that

building. You can't get to it because you

die. I don't know if there's anything in

there. They make these massive castles—

nearly said marbles— and it just feels

like there's nothing in them. Shoot him

through the wall. Oh, he's gone now.

Where's he gone? The AI is so dumb

in this game. I think I got him again. I

can't see him. Where's he

gone? Whoa,

where is he? He's gone! Oh, he's there. I

didn't know there's a door here. Or did I?

What's down here? Oh, oh my God. Oh,

oh, I didn't know.

Palm blast! Oh my God, he's got friends.

What? Where did he come from?
