How I deal with Social Anxiety - part 1

Hello and welcome to episode 1 of how I

deal with social anxiety. Okay, so first

of all, the main problem is when people

are in your house that you did not invite,

but they're here anyway and there's not

much you can do about it. So what do you

do? The main problem is that you're stuck

in your bedroom, and when you want to get

food and go down to the kitchen You can't.

Well, you can, but then you're at risk of

being ambushed by strangers. So here's my

solution. I've got some things to spliff

out my bedroom so it's self-sustaining and

a good environment for self-isolation,

and I've got all my basic necessities.

Okay, so this is the main box. We'll save

that for later because it's a little bit

exciting. This is the boring box.

chamber where I don't need to go

downstairs. To do what I want to do.

Wow, just what I wanted. And I

Okay, so this is my new kettle.

Very important to be able to make your own

coffee without needing to go down to the

kitchen where there may be strangers.

So I finally decided to get my own kettle.

I don't know why I didn't get one earlier.

And with this, not only can I make coffees

and teas, I can also make pot noodle,

one of my favorite snacks.

a nice kettle. Look at that, you can see

the water boiling inside.

Cable's a bit short.

Why is the cable so short?

Stupid. Okay, so that's my kettle so I can

make coffee in my bedroom. And then I got

these sweeteners so I don't have to have a

jug of sugar in my bedroom. Sugar gets so

messy. You can accidentally spill the

sugar and it gets all over the place.

Much easier to have these sweetener tablet

and you get 800 tablets. So 2 times 400—

800! And I'll probably use 2, so that's

400 cups of coffee you can make using

these. Pretty good value for money.

can of Nescafé.

It's unsweetened. That's why I had to get

the sweetener, and it's got milk included

in the powder. I don't know if it oh wow.

Is the powder just in here and there's no

sachets or anything? I don't want to spill

this. Put it on the table. I thought it

would be in like a packet, individual

packets of coffee, but it seems like they

put the whole thing. Why can't I open it?

Oh, look at this!

Wow. Oh, it smells good, like Ben

and Jerry's ice cream. Imagine if I

spilled this. So that is coffee

and creamer powder mix so I can make

coffee. I guess I need to get a spoon as

well. Can you imagine if you just got a

massive bucket and you poured it all in

and you poured in a load of water? I

better put the lid back on before I have

an accident. So this is my Nescafé coffee

emergency supply.

Cappuccino, 70 mugs, delicious blend with

naturally sourced ingredients. So I've got

my coffee gear ready here. I've got the

instant coffee, got the sweetener, and the

kettle. And then for food,

we've got this.

Astro AI portable mini refrigerator,

and this is for my sandwich preparation

times.

So the main reason why it's difficult to

store sandwich food is because the stuff

that goes into a sandwich usually needs to

be refrigerated, like ham, mayonnaise,

cucumber. You can't just have them lying

around at room temperature, so I got

this tiny fridge. It's actually for

drinks, but I can use it for sandwich.

Wow, it looks really nice.

Now according to the box, it works as a

refrigerator and a warmer. Oh look, they

gave me some stuff. A little book.

kind of plug before.

Oh, I hate this. I hate it when they tie

the cables up with this stupid little

metal thing. You've got to untie it.

What's the point?

Okay, so that's for the mains.

This— what is this? Oh, I think it's

to plug it into your car, into the car

lighter thing. So you could use it in your

car. I don't have one. Okay, so this is

the inside of the fridge. As you can see,

yeah, it's not massive. If you take this

tray out, it's a bit bigger.

Yeah, it goes back until this far.

So I think it's big enough to put some

sandwich stuff, or you can even prepare

the sandwiches in advance, cut the

sandwiches up, and then just put the

sandwiches in here.

So I'll put ham— ham can go in there— and

cucumber. And maybe I can get

some— a little packet of mayonnaise.

Interesting stuff. I never had a tiny

little fridge. It looks like a little

computer. So this plugs in the back.

Tired. Yeah, this is a bit short as well.

I might have to get an extension thing.

And there is my little kitchen.

Kitchen, kettle, Fridge,

so in case any more people come, I don't

have to starve in my bedroom again. Don't

know if I want this little shelf.
