All 8 DLC Crystal Tears Ranked! (INSANE DAMAGE) Elden Ring： Shadow of the Erdtree

Today we're going to be looking at the 8

new cracked tears in the Shadow of the

Erdtree DLC. So there's 8 new ones and

we're going to be testing them out to see

which one's the best one and combining

them with the old cracked tears in the

base game. So to get these new 8 new

cracked tears, you have to go around the

map, find the big giant wicker men fire

golem things, defeat those, and then you

get the new cracked tear. Took me nearly 2

hours to get all 8 of them. It's quite a

lengthy process, I can't really explain it

in this video. Today we're just going to

be testing out the different combinations

of Cracked Tears. So I think the number

one most powerful combination of Cracked

Tears using the new ones has to be the

Oil-Soaked Tear combined with the

Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear. So

Oil-Soaked Tear coats nearby enemies with

oil, and when you touch them, you coat

them in the oil, and then they receive an

extra 20% in fire damage. And with the

other talismans and buffs, I managed to

get around 15,899

damage with a critical strike. So what you

want to do is go up to them, touch them so

they get coated, and then charge up a

heavy attack. Hot! 15,899 damage.

So I'll quickly show you how to do that

insane damage with this new Cracked Tear.

So for the Ashes of War, I put Blood

Fiend's Arm, I put Royal Knight's Resolve

onto Blood Fiend's Arm, and I put fire

affinity so we do fire damage. And then

for the talismans, obviously we have Fire

Scorpion Charm increases fire attack,

Two-Handed Sword Talisman increases

attacks with two-handed weapons, Axe

Talisman increases charge attacks, and I

also get Crusader Crusade Insignia which

increases your attack power after you

defeat an enemy. And I've got the Rakshasa

Armor which increases damage by, I think

it's 8%. And we have a few incantations.

I have the Golden Vow Flame, Grant Me

Strength as well, and Golden Vow.

So we pop those 2, and then we pop the

flask, and now we're ready to

go. Go double-handed and then do Royal

Knight's Resolve. So this one won't do as

much damage because we haven't killed

anything yet, but what you do is you go up

to him, you coat him, he'll start going

kind of brownish, which means he's coated.

And then you take these out,

and then you got this guy here. And

re-equip Royal Knight's Resolve, go and

touch him to coat him. Now he's coated.

For some reason it did less damage, I

don't know why, it's kind of random. I

think it wasn't a critical strike, maybe

that's why. So even without the flame— I

mean the oil-coated tier, you can still do

some crazy damage just with

Royal Knight's Resolve. I also

tested it out using Fire Knight's

Greatsword, which also does fire damage by

default, and I've got some pretty good

damage on it too. So again, I put Royal

Knight's Resolve with fire works best,

and we go and sneak up to him, charge up

a heavy attack, and 13,000 damage.

That's just crazy. I think the oil tier

buffs it by like 20% fire damage.

Now we can go up to this guy, see if we

can do 15k. Coat him,

heavy attack, 12k. Nearly. So the Blood

Fiend Arm does slightly more damage, but

12-15k is enough damage really to take

these guys out. So yes, one of the best

new cracked tears in the game. I'd give it

like an S rank. The only drawback is it

doesn't last very long. I can get up to

that guy and by the time I've killed him,

I've already used it all up and it's run

out. Only lasts like 10 seconds, so it

would be nice if it lasted a bit longer.

See, it's not working anymore now. So the

next one I want to show you is the

Bloodsucking Cracked Tear. This one's

really good as well. Enhances attacks at

the cost of HP in mixed Physick. So it

increases your attacks by like 20%, but

your life starts draining. So I combine

this with the Strength Knot crystal tear

for more attack power and strength, and we

can do some pretty good damage. So I get

the Blood Fiend's Arm once again. I put

Royal Knight's Resolve, this time with

Occult affinity, because you do more

damage if you have arcane builds. And then

we go to talismans and we switch it out

for— basically we just want to get rid of

the fire damage now. We don't really care

about fire damage anymore. So as soon as

we equip the flask, our life will start

draining, and that means it's working. So

I've buffed up, double-handed, Royal

Knight's Resolve, sneak up on the guy, do

a heavy attack. Should do quite a lot of

damage.

12,877, pretty good. And then

take these guys out and then get that last

guy.

Should do like 15,000 maybe.

Oh, 12— 1, 2, 3, 4 damage. That's pretty

good though. But I found if you use the

Prelate's Fire Inferno Crozier, you can do

even more damage. So again, put Royal

Knight's Resolve with Occult Affinity,

and now we should be able to do even more

damage. Watch this. So we drink the flask

And then Royal Knights resolve, and then

sneak up on him.

Oh, 14,239! And then do this guy too.

16,375!

Okay, that's my new record for highest

damage I've ever done. I don't think I've

ever done more damage than 16k. That is

crazy. Watch this. I think

I've still got the flask. Yeah, my life's

still draining. Watch this. Oh, it did

less damage. What?

Yeah, this weapon does way more damage

than the Bloodfiend Arm. Watch, watch,

watch.

Oh, 13,000.

Oh, we— I think my flask killed me.

Yeah, so I'll probably give that one like

an A tier. It's not as— I mean, actually

we did more damage with it than the oil

type tear. What's it called? I forgot what

it's called now. Yeah, the oil soaked tear

combo, I did about 15,899 damage,

but with the bloodsucking cracked tear I

did like 16,200 something. So maybe this

is S tier. So then you got 2 healing

tears. The Crimson Burst Dry Tear steadily

restores HP of nearby allies for a time,

and the Crimson Sapping Cracks Tear grants

HP restoring effect when you attack

people. So I'm wondering if it cancels out

the Bloodsucking Tear. So if I equip it,

I'm losing health. I don't think it heals

me, I think it just heals my allies.

Unless— I'm not sure actually, let me test

it out. If I get rid of Bloodsucking, I

think the Bloodsucking tear is making me

drain HP faster than I'm restoring it. So

I get rid of this one. I'll just put— I

don't know. No, not that one. I just put

anything, doesn't matter. And now I need

to go take some damage. Okay, so I've

taken some damage. Let's see if the flask

heals me.

Uh, it's not doing anything. So it only

applies to allies. It's kind of rubbish

because I don't have any allies. I play

alone. The only ally I'd have would be my

mimic summon. So it's not very useful.

I'd give it like a D grade. And then next

we have the Crimson Sapping Tear. Grants

attacks health restoring effects. So I've

taken some damage. Now I'm gonna pop it,

see if my attacks restore health.

Yeah, restores a little bit but barely

anything. Look how little health it

restores, just a tiny bit.

It's not very impressive, is it? I'd give

it like a D grade maybe. And then we have

the Viridian Hidden Tear, eliminates all

stamina consumption. So as the name

implies, you take it

and then your attacks don't use any

stamina. You can just keep spamming as

much as you want. I guess it's okay if you

want to do loads of damage without having

to wait for stamina,

but I'd rather get the other one. So the

Oil-Soaked Tear, I think, is better. And

we got the Cerulean Sapping Tear.

Basically, it's the same as that one, but

you restore focus points when you attack.

It's not very interesting. And then you

got— what else? Glove Walk Crystal Tear

enhances attacks of spirits, so your

summons are going to do more damage. I

guess it affects the mimic summon as well.

And then you got the Deflecting Hard Tear

enhances spontaneous guard in mixed

physics, so your blocking and guarding

would be more effective. So the rest of

them are kind of boring. There's only 2

that I would say you really want to get,

and that's the Oil Soaks Tear, really good

for fire melee builds. And the

Bloodsucking Crack Tear, really good for

increasing your damage output. Crimson

Burst Dry Tear sucks, boring. Deflecting

Heart Tear, I never really block, to be

honest, I just dodge, so boring unless

you're doing a tank build. Give it a D. A

D. Viridian Hidden Tear, a bit boring, C

grade. Don't really care about stamina. I

never really feel like Oh, I need more

stamina. And this one, I guess if you want

to buff your summons and spirits, that's

good. But usually the summons are just

there to tank the enemy and distract them.

Yeah, but definitely Oil-Soaked Tear, one

of my favorites. Maybe you do— oh, what if

you do Oil-Soaked Tear with Bloodsucking

Tear? The 2 best ones together.

And then I put the Royal Knight's Resolve

onto Bloodfiend Arm with fire. Why didn't

I think of this before? I could probably

do like 17k now. So which way is it?

Yeah, I put the Bloodsucking Cracked Tear

and Oil-Soaked Tear, and then we're gonna

buff up Golden Vow,

Flame, Grant Me Strength.

And then for the talismans, I have Crusade

Insignia, Fire Charm, that one, and Axe

Talisman. So I need to kill one first to

get the most damage. Just quickly kill

this one. Killed both of them

now. I get the one by the

Come on. And then double-hand it.

Knight's Resolve. This should be

interesting. Coat him. Oh,

14,000. Yeah, it's pretty good. It's not

as good as the big red hammer though. See

if I can one-shot these, but I lost the

oil coat— oil-soaked tear now.

Pretty good. Try one more time just to see

if I can get the damage up more. Okay,

final run. See how much damage I can do

this time. Royal Knight's Resolve,

crouch, charge up a heavy attack, soak

him. Oh,

15,000! Now if I get the Crusader insignia

to work as well— that

was 15,000, so it should be over 16,000

if this one crits. Come on, soak him.

Soaked, and then charge. Oh,

14,429. Why does it do less damage even

though I got the Crusade Insignia buffed?

What if I replace that with— I don't know

what I was gonna do. Ritual Sword

Talisman, but I won't have max HP because

it keeps draining. Okay, I've got this new

idea. I've got the Colossal Sword this

time because I think it should do more

damage than the Bloodfiend Arm. I'm not

sure. So buff up. It takes

so damn long to buff up, so annoying.

And then potion,

Royal Knight's Resolve, sneak up,

heavy attack. I did less damage,

12,000. The Bloodfiend Arm did 15,000.

See if I can switch it. Okay, I switched

it quickly before the oil-soaked

tear runs out. And then 2-handed,

and then soak him. He's not soaked.

It ran out already. It's so stupid. Oh, I

got a better idea. What if we get the,

the red hammer? Where is it?

Maybe this does more damage. Rauru

Knight's Resolve with fire. It would do

more damage if I had more faith, but I

have an arcane build and I don't have any

Larval Tears, so this might do more

damage. So I did 15k with the Bloodfiend

Surely I can do 17k, because last time I

did 16k with this, but that was not with a

fire build. Okay, pop the flask.

Double hand, Royal Knight Resolve,

crouch, lock on, touch him,

soaked. Oh,

nearly. Let's see what else I can do.

I want to hit the window guy.

Come on, this should be good damage.

14k. I did more, did 16k

without the oil soaks here. I don't

understand why.
