She lied to me this whole time...

I knew it. I knew she was lying about her

age. The moment I met her,

I suspected that she wasn't 28. There's no

way she could have been 28. She looked at

least 40. So, um, I had an interesting

conversation with my ex-girlfriend Tomoko.

I think you know who I'm talking about.

And I learned a few things about her that

she's been hiding from me. So we had a

conversation today and it was basically

her just apologizing to me and telling me

how much she loved me. And then I said,

that's okay, don't worry about it, it's

fine. And then I said, I have one thing

that I want to ask you though. Are you

really 28? And as soon as I asked that,

it all came out. She, she's not 28,

surprisingly. Well, I guess not that

surprisingly. Turns out she's— she's

41. I guessed it right. At first she

wouldn't tell me her exact age because she

was scared that I was going to make a

video about it. I would have made a video

about it anyway, even if she didn't tell

me her exact age. And I said,

I'm gonna guess that you're around 40.

And she said, I'm 41.

41?! Just from looking at her

photos, I couldn't tell that she was 41.

I actually— I actually believed that she

was 28, but I felt like something was a

bit strange, especially with the way that

she spoke. She didn't sound— she didn't

speak like how a 28-year-old or a girl

who's in her 20s would speak. She sounded

like a middle-aged woman, the way she

spoke. And I thought that was kind of

strange, but— but I also thought that that

was like her dialect because she lived in

this countryside part of Japan. I thought

that was how people spoke in that area of

Japan, and I didn't suspect that she was

older than she was saying that she was.

I'm— I guess I'm just really shocked that

she lied to me this whole time. Since

June, or was it May? No, it was June.

Ever since June, she's been lying to me.

She's been saying that she's 28 and she's

41.

So the first time I started talking to

her, she showed me a picture of herself

and I asked her, how old are you? And she

said to me, guess, how old do you think I

am? And I guessed 35 because the photo she

showed me looks like an older woman, and I

guessed 35. And I also told her that I

actually like older women. I don't have

any problems with dating older women or

having sex with older women. And she said

something like, do you prefer older women?

And then I said, it's not that I prefer

older women, it's just that I don't have

anything against older women. So I guess

that was when she decided to lie to me

about her age because she thought that if

she was the same age as me, I would like

her more. But that, that was kind of a

stupid thing for her to do because even if

she told me that she was 41, even if I

knew that she was 41 from the beginning,

I still would have met her and slept with

her because I like sex and I've had

sex with much older women. The oldest

woman I've had sex with was 43, and that

was the ex-Korean girlfriend. So just

because she's 41 wouldn't have put me off.

The thing that I'm most shocked about and

angry about is that she lied to me about

it, and I believed her, and I just

feel really stupid for actually believing

her. The moment I met her for the first

time in real life, I knew there was

something strange. There's no way she

could have been 28. The skin on her face

looks really aged, really wrinkled.

There's no way a 28-year-old can have skin

that looks that aged. Also, the way she

moved, the way she walked, made me think

of an old woman. And the most telling

thing was the way she smelt. She had this

smell which was kind of like an old

person's smell. And the smell kind of made

me gag sometimes, and I had to hold my

breath when she came close to my face. It

reminded me of a kind of like a— an old

woman's smell, basically. In her photos,

she looks really cute. You can't see any

of the wrinkles, you can't see any of the,

the aging. But when you meet her in real

life, you can see all of it. You guys

think I'm a dick that I'm a horrible

person because I said stuff like I didn't

feel attracted to her. And all you guys

think she's cute just like I did because

you guys have only seen her photos. You

guys haven't met her in real life. You

haven't seen what I've seen. So you

don't know what she actually looks like.

You can't just— you can't tell

just from her photos because she is very

good at taking good photos of herself.

It's like she's been practicing it, or she

knows what angle and what to do to make

herself look young and pretty. And I fell

for it. I completely fell for it. I didn't

ask her to do Skype or do FaceTime

or do a video call because I did all that

with my ex-girlfriend. We did video calls

for hours and hours, and it was such a

waste of time. And even though I did a

video call— even though I did video calls

with that girlfriend, When I met her in

real life, I was still disappointed even

though I saw her on FaceTime. FaceTime

still hides a lot because the cameras on

these phones and laptops and tablets, the

quality is shit. I mean, look at me now.

I look, I look not too bad, but if you met

me in real life, my skin isn't this nice

looking. I have freckles, I have scars

from pimples. You, you can't tell how

a person looks like just from a

low-quality webcam. I just can't believe

that she lied to me this whole time. I

trusted her. And she

kept saying that the reason why she lied

to me was because she loved me so much.

She said that she was scared that if she

told me that she was actually 41, that I

would leave her and that I wouldn't love

her anymore.

Which is— which doesn't make sense because

I still would have been interested in her

even if I knew that she was 41.

She said that she was hopeful. She was

hoping that when we did meet, so that

there was a slight chance, even if there

was a slight possibility, that I would

actually love her and want to be in a

relationship even after I've seen her in

real life. Then she wanted to take that

chance, and she said that she was scared

that if she told me her real age that I

would end it and I wouldn't meet her.

I still would have met her though. I still

would have had sex with her. The only

difference would be I wouldn't call her my

girlfriend, or I wouldn't be interested in

having a relationship with her because I

don't want to be in a relationship with

someone who's that old. I want someone

who's closer to my age. Okay, so here's

the part where I started to get a bit

worried: pregnancy. Now,

before we met, she told me that she had

just finished her period and it was okay

for me to finish inside of her because

that was kind of like a safe time, or

it's, it's a period in the cycle

where it's— where she's less likely to get

pregnant. I don't really know know much

about periods or menstrual cycles, so I

just believed what she was saying. And we

did have sex 3 times, and I finished

inside of her without using a condom.

And I asked her if she was lying about

her, her period,

and, um, and she said that she wasn't

lying about her period finishing a few

days before we met, so hopefully she's not

pregnant. I don't think it's very likely

because we only had sex a few times,

she's fairly old, and I'm pretty sure I'm

infertile because I've had a lot of

unprotected sex with previous

ex-girlfriends. For example, the single

mother girlfriend, we had sex for 2 weeks

at least twice a day and she didn't get

pregnant. I had sex, unprotected sex,

with the 2014 girlfriend, and she didn't

get pregnant even after 3 months of

unprotected sex. So I think there's

something wrong with my sperm.

If that's the case, that's great because I

don't really want to have kids. It'll be—

I wouldn't be happy if she told me that

she was pregnant. So I asked her, what

would you do if if you were pregnant? And

she said— she said she would keep the

baby. I know, it's crazy, right? She said

she would keep it because she loves me and

she wants a little baby boy that looks

just like me. And she said that she

wouldn't bother me about it. She wouldn't

want me to take responsibility or help her

to raise the child. She would raise it by

herself, and she would take photos and

videos and of him and send it to me.

She's, she's completely mental. She's

completely crazy. She, she has to be the

craziest woman I've ever met.

From my experience, Japanese women are

completely nuts when they get over the age

of 35 and they're still single and they're

still unmarried. They become so desperate,

they would, they would do anything.

They have no standards. They would

basically sleep with anyone that gives

them attention, like I did.

So I think that the chances of her

actually being pregnant are pretty low,

but there's always a slight possibility.

Even if it's a small possibility,

you never know, it could happen. And yeah,

I am a bit worried that she's gonna

message me one day and say, hey Daniel,

I'm pregnant.

You know, I'm actually kind of happy

about this because before I knew about

this, before I found out about her age, I

was actually feeling guilty about breaking

her heart and not being attracted to her,

not being in a relationship with her, and

I felt bad. But now now I found out

that she's been lying to me this whole

time, I don't feel guilty at all.

All— any traces of guilt have just

completely gone, and I don't

feel sad at all about what happened.

I just feel kind of shocked,

basically. I just— I can't

believe that I came all the way to Japan

for for a 41-year-old woman who

wants to have my babies. I think this

is the 3rd Japanese middle-aged woman

that, that's wanted to have my babies now.

2 of them wanted to marry me. I'm pretty

sure she also would want to marry me.

Why? Why, why does this keep happening to

me? Why can't I get a normal girlfriend

that's around my age who isn't ugly, who

isn't fat, who isn't insane. Is it so

much to ask for? Is it?

Why am I being punished? Why?

I don't know.
