BEST DLC Ashes of War Ranked! (INSANE DAMAGE) Elden Ring： Shadow of the Erdtree

be looking at some of the most powerful

new Ashes of War in the Elden Ring Shadow

of the Erdtree DLC, starting with Palm

Blast. So Palm Blast is a really good Ash

of War that comes with the Dry Leaf Arts,

and there's a way to make it do some

insane damage using this setup.

So if you use these talismans, you can do

some crazy damage. Fire Scorpion Charm

increases fire damage, Shard of Alexander,

Godfrey Icon, and Ritual Sword Talisman.

And for the Wondrous Physick, we've got

Oil-Soaked Tear, which is one of the new

Cracked Tears in the DLC. It basically

soaks the enemies in oil, makes them take

an extra 20% fire damage. Flame Shrouding

Cracked Tear increases fire attacks. So as

you can see, we're going for fire-based

attack power with the Palm Blast. So we're

going for the fire affinity on Palm Blast

basically because this is going to boost

all of our fire attacks. And there's

actually 2 types of Dry Leaf weapons, so

you've got You're the first one that

you unlock, the Dry Leaf Arts. And then

you also have the Dain's Fire— I mean,

Dain's Footwork. So it's basically the

same as Dry Leaf Arts, but it's more

focused on kicking. So instead of punching

and palm striking, you've got more kicks

in there. So you got this kind of double

kick, kick jabs. So it's basically the

same but just different kind of flair,

different kind of style. So I'll show you

how to buff up We also want to do Flame

Grant Me Strength. So with everything

buffed up, we can do some insane damage.

So creep up to this guy and we're gonna

soak him with oil. Watch this. So he soaks

with oil, charge up a Palm Blast.

10,327 damage. The great thing

about Palm Blast is it does like an AoE

attack and it's kind of short range, but

the good thing is you can actually hit

enemies with it and Even if they are not

really close to you. So do oil soak this

guy. I ran out of

oil soaking, but you can still do good

damage. Look, 7,000. And with the

mausoleum bosses, they gave me quite a lot

of trouble, so I just spammed them with

Palm Blast and they couldn't even get back

up. Every time they nearly got up, I was

ready with another Palm Blast. Watch this,

the AoE effect on Palm Blast is so cool.

Just blows them away. This guy nearly got

one-shotted. Elbow in the stomach. Don't

know how elbow in the stomach kills

someone who's fully armored, but yeah,

Palm Blast, really good Ash of War with

the new DLC, and it also gives you hyper

armor. So you see that armor buff under my

stamina bar? That means you can charge

this up and you won't get interrupted.

But I ran out of, uh, I ran out of focus

points, so I did get interrupted. Now if

you have an arcane build, maybe you could

go for Occult and then just change all

your build to go more for strength instead

of fire damage. So you could do this one,

get rid of the Oil Soaked Tear, replace it

with Bloodsucking Cracked Tear, go for

more strength instead of fire, get rid of

that and go for I think

there's a strength talisman. Where is it?

Or maybe arcane to buff your arcane

ability even more. So I'm going to try

that again, see if I can beat 10,000

damage with the fire build. The fire build

did about 10k. Now we're going to go for

the arcane occult build. Pop your flask.

Oh wait, because I got the Bloodsucking

Cracks here, that's not going to be any

use now because we're never going to be

max HP. So I might just raise my strength.

And then charge up a Palm Blast.

That's not as good, 7,000, and he pokes me

off the edge. What? So basically, if you

want max damage with Palm Blast, I would

definitely go for a fire build. Next, we

have to talk about Flame Spear. This is a

really good fire attack, and it basically

does— it basically charges up this spear

of fire that shoots out a beam. It's

pretty cool, and it sets your sword on

fire. So if you use the Fire Knight's

Greatsword. This has fire already in it by

default, and if you use the Winged Serpent

Helm, you get bonus damage to certain

abilities for some reason. So again, you

want to go for a fire build with this,

and we're gonna go for the fire talismans

and Wondrous Physick Flask again. So get

fire. I don't know if Oil-Soaked Tear is

gonna be really useful because we're gonna

be trying to shoot them at range and then

switch back the talismans. Okay, so we're

fully buffed. Soak him with oil and

then charge up. It's gonna do about 6k

damage. It's pretty good. It's not as high

damage as the other ones like Palm Blast,

but the good thing about it is the range.

If you need to shoot enemies at a range

like this, look at that, one-shot him.

It's such a cool ability. And you get this

massive fire boost on your melee attacks

as well. So you can like snipe this guy

and his friend won't even notice where the

snipe came from, and then we can snipe him

too. See, look at the damage it does on

that. And if you get,

get to shoot it off at point-blank range,

it does even more damage because you not

only get the beam of fire, but you also

get the the sword strike as well included

in the damage. I'll show you quickly, but

it does way more damage if you do it

point-blank distance. Watch.

See that? It does way more damage.

Yeah, pretty good combined with the Fire

Knight Greatsword. Flame Spear, it's a

very nice Ash of War. Watch this.

Oh, he's got double hit.

Very cool ability. Okay, next we have the

Perfume Bottle with Rolling Sparks. This

is a really cool Ash of War, and combined

with the fire build, it does some pretty

cool damage. So I had to put on this

stupid helmet because actually you need—

you need 12 INT to use it, and I only had

10 INT, so I was just short on intellect.

But if you buff up It does basically this:

you throw out a bunch of sparks and it

just blows up with fire. So we'll test it

out quickly. Put all the buffs back on,

and then we go soak the guy with oil.

You don't have to soak him, but it just

does more damage. Like that, he's soaked.

And now watch this. Oh, he was taking

damage already. Just one-shot both of

them. Watch this. Look at that.

Oh my god, the damage is insane on this

perfume thing.

Watch this. It only hit

once for some reason. It uses a lot of

FP too, so you gotta watch your FP.

And watch this, watch.

Oh my god, it also staggers them

backwards. This thing is so powerful. I

found it really good against certain

bosses. So you can summon your mimic, and

the mimic will tank the boss whilst you

just spam Rolling Sparks at them.

Very nice Ash of War.

I don't know if it staggers enemies.

Everything dies so quickly,

they never get a chance to get staggered.

Look, just one-shots everything.

It's so easy. Yeah, it's a pretty good Ash

of War. Probably rank it like S-rank,

A-rank, one of my favorites. And then

the next Ash of War is the Aspect of the

Crucible Wings. Now this works really good

with a nice big chunky colossal sword. As

much damage as you can do is usually the

best weapon to go for. And for the

talismans, I went for Holy Attack Sacred

Scorpion Charm, Two-Handed Sword Talisman,

Alexander's Shard, and Godfrey Icon with

the Racked Chassis armor increases damage

done. And for the ones with Physick,

you've got a Holy Shrouding Cracked Tear

which boosts holy attacks with the

Bloodsucking Cracked Tear. So this is a

really cool charging flying attack. It

looks like this. It's basically those

attacks that those Crucible Knights do.

And if you buff everything— Golden Vow,

Wondrous Physick— and

then go 2-handed, you can do some pretty

good damage. Watch this. Oh, 7,000 damage!

I wasn't expecting it to do that much

damage, actually. I don't usually use

this, but— whoa, why did that do

only 2k? The other one did 7k.

If you can get a weapon that has holy

damage— I can't find any weapons with 7k.

Can't find any weapons that have holy

damage that let you put an Ash of War onto

it. 7k, Jesus, uses a lot of

FP though.

Watch this. The range on it is crazy.

Yeah, it's pretty good. I quite like it.

It might be good at bosses because you

know how the bosses are very hard to hit

because you get close, you get whacked,

and they keep jumping around. This might

be good against bosses. I kind of ran out

of bosses to kill. I think I killed them

all now, so I've only got these guys to

kill, which gets kind of boring.

Yeah, Crucible Wings, pretty good damn

weapon. And I chose the heavy

affinity, I think, for the Sacred

Greatsword. Well, it's Greatsword, but now

it's Sacred, I guess. I don't know if

Godfrey Icon actually affects it. Spells

and skills. I don't know if it's a skill.

It might not be a skill. Maybe switch it

out. Maybe if you put Crusade Insignia

after you've killed something, you could

do even more damage than 7k. Let's test it

out. Okay, so first I'm gonna kill

something to get the Crusade Insignia buff

and then do the winged thing. It won't do

that much damage on this guy because he

keeps blocking. I want to get This guy by

the window should crit. Watch this,

watch. It should do more than 7k now.

Oh, 8,400! That's what I wanted,

8,400. The Crusade Insignia gives you like

an extra 1,000 damage and you can one-shot

that guy now. Yeah, Crusade Insignia,

definitely much better. And jump out

the window, FP pot.

I can one-shot everything now. Jesus.

Another new Ash of War in the DLC is the

Divine Beast Frost Stamp, and you could

put cold, or maybe heavy would scale

better with strength. Yeah, I'll probably

put heavy. And basically you just stamp

the ground, shoots out icicles, does a lot

of damage. Now for the talismans, there's

actually a stomp talisman that's new with

the DLC. It's called Shattered Stone

Talisman, and I think we'll keep that.

Keep that. Don't know, I guess it is a

skill. I'm not sure. You want to boost

magic attack as well because cold damage

is magic damage. So you want to go to

Wondrous Physick, switch out holy damage

for magic damage. And keep that.

Should be able to do some pretty good

damage with this. Okay, so we're fully

buffed. Watch the range on this too, it's

pretty good range. Oh, 3,500. It's okay,

it's not great. I give it like a D rank

probably. That guy's stomping too, but my

stomp's better. And watch this, watch.

4k. It's kind of weak. I don't really see

myself using it.

I guess you could spam it.

Oh, he jumped over it somehow. Yeah,

it's not great. I give it like 6 out of
