INSANE DAMAGE - Sorcerer Lightning AOE grinding build - Diablo 4

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So

today I want to show you my new Sorcerer

lightning build. I was messing around most

of today with a new build using fire and

Firewall, and it was okay for AoE damage,

but for single target damage it was so bad

it took me like 20 minutes to defeat a

boss. I end up going back to my good old

ball lightning build, which has been

really great so far. So I'll show you the

main parts of the build. Okay, so for the

skills, I don't really need to show you

much. I think you can guess what it's

going to be about. You got Arc Clash, you

got Ice Armor, Frost Nova, Teleport, and

you got a bunch of defensive stuff like

this stuff. Can't be bothered to read it

out. And then you got 10— I got 10 ranks

in Ball Lightning. Jesus Christ, look, I

do 32,000 damage with my Ball Lightning.

And then I've also got Unstable Currents

and also Veer's Mastery. Pretty boring

stuff. And then for the gear, now I got

some really nice gear which is very

important for this build actually. So the

most important part of the build is going

to be teleport. And with this unique

chest, I've got this ancestral unique

chest called the Raiment of the Infinite.

So basically what it means is when you do

a teleport, it's going to pull your

enemies towards you and stun them for 2.8

seconds. That is so good because you can

just teleport into a group of enemies,

round them all up, freeze them with a

Frost Nova and then bash them with balls

of lightning. And then whilst they're

stunned and frozen, they'll be vulnerable

and you'll get all the damage multipliers.

And then my other stuff, I got ball

lightning orbits around you, so it does

that. You really need this. Without this,

they just end up shooting off forwards in

a line, which is completely useless. And

then we got some random aspects like you

got 6,700 barrier, you got skills deal up

to 10% increased damage, Frost Nova extra

charge, so you've got 2 charges of Frost

Nova. We got casting Ice Armor makes you

unstoppable, grants you 30% increased

armor. We got 25% more damage to

immobilized, stunned, and frozen, and 30%

increased damage to vulnerable enemies

whilst you have a barrier. And we will

have a lot of barriers because the

vampiric power here is Rampart. We're

gonna have this, and it's called Rampart.

When you don't move for 3 seconds, you get

a barrier for 40% of your life, which is

like 5,000 because I've got 13,000 life.

And then we've got deal 16% increased

damage to vulnerable enemies. We've got

24% increased damage to stunned,

immobilized, frozen enemies. Ultimate

skill, 20% cooldown reduction, 12%

increased ultimate skill damage. And this

one is my favorite, Accursed Touch. So

when you attack enemies, it builds up

these souls and they will get released. I

think it's a maximum of 8. They will get

released and do like explosive damage when

you do a defensive skill. So you attack

the enemy with a basic skill And then it

shoots off all these little soul ghost

things, which is really cool, and it's

gonna make some— make for some explosive

gameplay. So the most important thing and

interesting thing is the Paragon boards.

Now I've leveled up all my nodes— not my

glyphs— up to level 15, so they've got the

maximum radius size of 4, which allows us

not to have to get the Conjuration boards

like I did last time. And now I can

actually get some boards that are very

useful. So for the first glyph socket,

we're gonna get this one called Adept.

Really good. So Balls of Lightning is a

mastery skill damage. This one's giving us

110% mastery skill damage bonus. And what

else does it give? Mastery skill have 20%

increased area. So what basically every

intelligence you have— see, 7.9% mastery

skill damage— it give you a bonus. So you

take one off, it'll go down. You put one

on, it'll go up. So that's the first one,

Adept. Really good. And then the second

one I've gone for the Frigid Fate board

because it gives you really good bonus

damage to vulnerable enemies. So this one

here, 39% vulnerable damage, and that's

because I got this socket here which is

giving the rare nodes within range a 95%

bonus. So this one gives you 19%

vulnerable damage and also reduces the

damage you take the less mana you have,

up to 25%. So it's great defensive.

You're gonna have low mana all the time

because you're gonna be spamming Ball

Lightning, so you always have that 25%

damage reduction which is really useful.

And then I grab the other nodes like 20%

vulnerable damage, grab everything around

it so you've got all this vulnerable

damage, damage reduction from vulnerable

enemies, very good. I didn't get this

because it's only a bonus of 7%, not

really worth wasting the points to get all

the way up into there. And then for the

next board I got Ceaseless Conduit,

really good for lightning damage and

lightning damage and damage to elites,

32% damage to elites, 14% movement speed

after killing an elite. And then for the

glyph socket, I got Reinforced. This one's

really good. It gives you 95% bonus to

rare nodes within, within range. So this

+10% or 20% lightning damage went up to

39% lightning damage bonus thanks to that

socket. And this socket gives you 15%

damage reduction whilst you have an active

barrier. And obviously we have barriers.

You can have Ice Armour and the Vampiric

Barrier. When we stand still, and also the

6,700 barrier when we attack an elite. So

we got 3 barriers going on. So we have a

lot of barriers, 15% damage reduction.

Also that aspect on the amulet gives us—

was it ring— gives us bonus vulnerable

damage whilst we have a barrier up. And

again, I skipped the legendary node

because I don't really care about

Crackling Energy. This is not a Crackling

Energy build. And we also have Crackling

Energy damage. It's funny I just said

that. I got this not because it has

Crackling Energy damage. I got it because

it's got 10% lightning damage and a bunch

of good stuff around it like lightning

damage. And then I went down here to get

the Static Surge board, and this one's

good for damage— I mean, damage to stunned

enemies. So we got the Territorial Glyph

socket. It's also really good because it

gives you 15% damage against reduction

damage reduction against close enemies,

and we also get 62% damage increase to

close enemies. So that's really good. For

every dexterity we have, we can increase

that multiplier. I think I got all the

dexterity here. Yeah,

I got all of it. And then I got the 30%

damage to stunned enemies and a bit of

lightning resistance there. And then we go

down here to get the 30% damage to stunned

enemies. So we stun the enemy quite a lot

using Arc Clash, and that's going to give

us like 30% and then 60%,

and then another 30%, and another 30%.

It's like 120% damage to stunned enemies

already right there. And I also skipped

the legendary node because I don't care

about Chain Lightning or Charged Bolts.

So basically super buffing the mastery

skill with that one. And we've got some

defensive damage reduction glyph sockets

which are boosting the rare nodes, which

giving us Bonus to vulnerable damage,

bonus to bonus damage to stunned enemies,

and finally close enemy damage and

stunned enemy damage multiplier. So we've

got a lot of damage multipliers to

vulnerable and stunned enemies, frozen

enemies. So that's going to be really good

for our playstyle. Now I'll show you the

playstyle. It's very cool. I actually

managed to clear a Tier 67 dungeon earlier

today, but I'm kind of tired now, so I

might not be that great at it this time,

but I'll give it a try again. Tier 67,

died already once. So what we're going to

do is you want to find a group of enemies

and you want to zap into them with

Teleport and then freeze them and make

sure you've got some Balls of Light.

Watch this, watch, watch. Oh my God, it

just pulls them all into the same spot so

you can blast them with a Frost Nova. And

then anyone surviving, just use your Ice

Armor to keep yourself alive. Be careful.

Oh, that one got me nearly. The problem

with this build is it's very glass

cannon-y. Those bone thingamajigs can

sometimes one-shot you. Now the playstyle,

you're going to be spamming both buttons

on your mouse all the time because you

need to be constantly spamming Balls of

Lightning because you'll get quite a lot

of mana regen. You'll make sure they're

all spinning around you all the time and

also pressing the left mouse button down

for Arc Clash spam. Okay, what we got

here? Silent Monolith. It's quite an

intense playstyle because you do go down.

I got quite a lot of health, but I'm not

super tanky even though I got those

defensive nodes. Without them, I would be

like a wet tissue and get one-shot

probably. I don't think you'd survive

without those defense— oh my god, the bone

archer ballista thing. Was it not even a

ballista, was it? I can't remember. Oh my

god. They got a purple glowing guy.

I hate these ones. And then you got your

special Unstable Currents for those really

tricky— watch me blow them up. Now the

tricky thing is once you've blown all your

cooldowns— oh, by the way, we get cooldown

reset on lucky hit. Oh, that nearly got

me. Oh, that blood thing's gonna blow,

and there's an archer up there. See,

it shoots out those ghost things. They do

quite a lot of damage to trash mobs.

Really helpful to get more AoE damage.

What was I saying? Yeah, we've got

defensive abilities have a chance to reset

on lucky hit, so that's quite helpful to

reset. You might get a random reset of Ice

Armor or Frost Nova. Oh, I love it when

they all get pulled in like a magnet. Oh,

my teleport reset. Did you see that? I

used teleport twice in a row because my

thing triggered. Your fingers really

do start to ache.
