Is $1.4K enough to live in Japan? Yeah, easily. Just go and get a guesthouse room about $400, $300 a month, maybe $150 on food, $100 for transport and other things. Maybe $500 or $600 a month would be easy in Japan. You can do it for cheaper if you're willing to sacrifice more privacy.

The more, the more luxury you're willing to sacrifice, the cheaper you can get life down to.

Guest house life would be pretty depressing.

I would like my privacy,

but it's either guest house life or live in a hotel.

Hotels are pretty expensive to live in. You'd be spending probably £700 to £900 a month on mid-tier hotels, and it's just going to be like a small box room,

not really anything in there apart from a bed, shower, toilet.

And if you don't have a kitchen, you're going to be going to convenience stores and eating out all the time, which gets expensive.

Yeah, I'm still banned on Airbnb, but Airbnb is not cheap. Airbnb prices are similar to hotel prices to stay competitive.

So, the choices would be go going to live in a guest house or get, get an apartment for maybe £800 to £1,000 a month and hope that I can use the space in the apartment to make some videos that will hopefully go viral. I hear Hogwarts Legacy is coming out next month. That could be my new Elden

It's a shame I don't like Thai food. They've got this one dish, it's minced pork with chili, coriander, and they put a fried egg on top of it and served with rice. I think it's called pad kapow. It tastes okay, but they make it's so damn spicy, gives me diarrhea.

I recently discovered Honshu. It's like a Japanese sauce

and it's, um, bonito extract with some some kind of fish oil plus soy sauce. It's really good. We had soup last night or 2 nights ago, and we didn't have any kimchi nabe sauce or anything else. We just had ponzu. So I just mixed that with a bit of water and then put in pork, cabbage, mushrooms. It

tastes so good. I think just put anything into it. Just make some ramen noodles and dip it into it, or just boil some meat in it. I think it's kind of like the shabu-shabu sauce, very savory. Japan's really good at making sauces. They got sukiyaki, honshu, mensu, miso soup. They're really good at making broths, tonkotsu. It's funny,
