why I HATE Saints Row the Third Remastered on Switch Lite

Hello and welcome back to my new review

of this video game on the Switch Lite.

It's called Saints Row 3, and I

recently bought this and I wanted to make

a video about why it's a pretty bad game.

I've been playing it for about 10 hours,

I think, in total, and I've come to the

conclusion that it is not really any fun.

So first of all, let me describe the game

in a nutshell. It's basically a rip-off of

Grand Theft Auto. It's a complete blatant

rip-off of GTA. And I guess the main

difference between this and GTA is, well,

as you can see, it's, it's kind of over

the top and, um, it's wacky, trying to be

all over the top and quirky and

in your face. And, uh, it's just— it's not

really that funny, to be honest, even

though it seems like it's trying really

hard to be funny and to try and separate

itself from GTA, which is more of a

serious game, I would say. But this is,

as you can see, it's just a really

annoying game. First of all, the gameplay

does not feel good to play, and that's

just a really big shame because the game

actually looks fairly decent.

The graphics aren't too bad and the

ragdoll physics aren't too bad. So let me

show you what the world looks like.

As you can see, it is an open world game

and there's a living city full of cars and

people, and you can steal the cars, you

can do anything you want to do, it's just

like GTA. There's 2 main parts of the

game. There's the sandbox open world part

where You can just run around. Look, you

can just run about and punch people for no

reason, and they just kind of stand around

not really reacting. The AI in the game is

not the best, I have to say. If you do go

around punching people, the police will

come and chase you down like this, and you

just beat them up. The game is very

unrealistic. I think that's my main

problem with it. You can just stand there

absorbing bullets. Look at him just

shooting me, and you can take a crazy

amount of damage.

And the game is just not challenging

unless you've got like 50 people attacking

you at the same time. I guess the whole

gimmick of the game is you're some kind of

superhero. You're not just some average

Joe. You can do all these crazy stunts

like jumping into a car And,

um, drop-kicking people from a mile away

and then just, I don't know, rolling out

of vehicles like this. I guess you're

supposed to be some kind of action hero.

So there's 2 parts of the game. There's a

sandbox mode where you can do this, and

then there's the missions and the story

mode. The story mode is really boring.

Every mission is just pretty much the same

where Uh, you have to go to some location

and then there's a load of bad guys and

then you just shoot them. That's it

really. And then there's some kind of

scripted event like a helicopter chase,

uh, or you have to parachute out the sky

and then shoot enemies whilst parachuting

down. It's kind of like he's trying to be

James Bond and Tom Cruise, like this

action movie kind of theme,

but I don't know, I just don't really find

it interesting or entertaining. I just

think it's kind of dumb, which I suppose

it's supposed to be dumb. It's like a dumb

action game, isn't it? Not really much

depth to it. You can upgrade skills and

you can get new costumes and clothing.

You can get a crib— a crib, I think that's

what it's called— like a home base.

Where you can hide out and get weapons

and, I don't know, do other stuff. So

there's a lot of customization in the

game. You can also completely design your

character from the ground up. You can

design everything. You can design the

shape of his nose, shape of his eyes,

shape of his face, his chin, his skin

color. But I don't really care about that

kind of stuff. If the game's not fun to

play, then does it really matter about

what your character looks like. The only

fun thing— the only fun thing to do in the

game is driving around, running people

over, fighting the cops.

But after a while, that kind of gets old

and boring. I just shot him in the nuts.

There are some weird things you can do in

the game. He likes punching people in the

nuts a lot.

But I don't know why I don't enjoy playing

this game. I can play for about 10 or 20

minutes where I just drive around running

people over, and then I get bored.

It's a weird game where, where there's

lots of things to do, and it seems like a

very interactive open world,

but it gets boring very quickly. And I

just don't care about the story. I don't

even know what the story's about. And the

main missions are just not fun to do.

They feel like a chore to do, like they're

tedious. They don't really make me want to

finish them. And then when you die, you

have to start back at the checkpoint, the

last checkpoint. I kind of like

how there's blood See, the blood spatters

are pretty cool. I like the way it's

violent.

Um, don't really know what else to say

about it. It is a nice looking game.

Can't really complain about the graphics.

I don't know if this was a waste of money.

If you want a GTA experience on Switch, I

think this is the best you're going to

get. Until Rockstar releases GTA on the

Switch, which I don't know why they

haven't. They've released GTA on iPad and

phones,

and it's on PC. Why don't they put it on

the Switch as well? I think people would

love a GTA 4. I think Switch could run a

GTA 4 game. Don't know, graphics don't

seem too different to this game in GTA 4.

The other weird thing is the police don't

really seem to be very effective. You can

just go on like a, a rampage and the

police just don't really put up much of a

fight, and it's really easy to get away

from them. The city looks really cool.

Look at this. I have to say, the city does

look very nice.

I like the pink lights and the

skyscrapers.

Yeah, it's quite nice driving around the

city. It's funny, if you compare this to

Cyberpunk, I think this game's actually

even better than Cyberpunk. Doesn't have

any of the bugs Cyberpunk does, has better

physics and ragdoll physics than Cyberpunk

does.

Oh, one annoying thing is when you're

driving The camera is a bit low. I like

having my camera a bit higher like this,

like that, but then it keeps automatically

moving the camera back to this level.

Not sure how to stop that from happening.

Oh, I just died again.

So this is my character. I gave him white

hair. And a white beard.

Just go around punching people.

You can keep punching them as well when

they're down, which is kind of sadistic.

Or you can do this, you can do a special

move. You can do a sprint and

then a special move. He does flying

skidding dropkick, which is kind of

Unreal. There's a lot of attacks you can

do. You can do this, he does a little

pose.

Uh, you can also grab them and use them as

a human shield like this,

and then you can throw them like that.

Yeah, there's a lot of things you can do

in it.

Wow, her boobs are huge.

How did she survive that?

So I would describe this game as a GTA

ripoff, but it's just really

over the top. Not a bad

game. It's not the worst game I've played,

and I actually find it difficult to come

up with complaints about it apart from,

um, it gets kind of repetitive and boring

after about 20 minutes, and I just don't

really want to do the missions or the main

story.

So that was my review of Saints Row.

3. I might try out Saints Row 4. I don't

know how that's going to be different. I

heard it's even more over the top because

you kind of have superhero abilities and

you're more like a, a superhero, not just

a normal person. Okay, so that's 10
