Oh, why does everything go wrong?

So my computer is busted and I've been trying to get it to work all day and I still can't get it to work. I think I know what's wrong with it,

so I got a screwdriver.

Hopefully this is the right size screwdriver. Going to take it apart.

Well, I have been talking about getting a new computer. I guess this is a good opportunity.

I'm gonna take it apart.

I'm not sure if I should turn it on and show you what's wrong with it.

Basically, um,

it turns on fine and I can use it fine when I'm just browsing the internet, but as soon as I turn on Rainbow Six and I start playing it for a few minutes, um, the screen goes black and then the graphic card fans start going into turbo mode.

And, um, yeah, you have to turn off the whole computer.

Same thing keeps happening. I think the graphics card is overheating and then it's shutting itself off, which is cutting off anything being sent to the display, and then the fans are being sent into turbo mode to cool it down. That must be it.

So I think maybe the thermal paste on the graphics card has dried up or it's not pasting properly. That's the only thing I could think of.

I vacuumed the whole thing, there's no dust. I cleaned it, I took out the graphics card, I put it back in, still doesn't work.

Without Rainbow Six, I feel so empty. It was like Rainbow Six was my way of killing time. It was the only thing I enjoyed doing all day.

When did we build it? I think it was around 2016. My dad helped me put this together. So my dad did the water cooling. So you see these pipes? My dad put that in. I put in this new graphics card.

it lasted quite a long time, so I got my value. But got the money's value out of it. It's really hard getting it out because this is a very small computer case

and this graphics card is huge. Look at the size of that triple fan GTX 1060, 6GB graphic card.

Been using it for about 4 years on and off. Wasn't using it when I was in Japan.

Hopefully this screwdriver— I don't have any thermal paste, so even if I can get it off—

So I could get a new graphics card,

which would be a lot cheaper than just buying a gaming laptop. But then I could just get a cheap gaming laptop

that costs about £1,000, so that'd be good enough to play Rainbow Six. I don't need a really good one. Rainbow Six is the only game I'd be playing anyway, unless I feel like playing a newer game, which I don't think I would. What new games are out now that I would want to play? I don't think there

are any.

Or you can forget about Rainbow Six. I don't know if I can. Rainbow Six is not only a really fun game, it, it makes me feel less depressed. It's hard to explain. It's just the way the game looks and feels, the way you can chat to people on your team. There's like a social thing to it, and

there's also like an ASMR feeling to it. Like, some of the maps are really cozy. There's one map where it's like a Russian library or something, and there's all books and red carpet, and it's all posh looking. It just feels nice.

Yeah, Rainbow Six is my way of coping with sadness and depression.

So if I can open this, and then if the thermal paste is all dried up That's probably why it's not working.

I've never done this before. I've never taken apart a graphics card. This could go terribly wrong,

but we have to try because every time I turn Rainbow Six on, it lasts for about 2 minutes, and then it goes whoosh, all the fans go into turbo mode, and then the screen is black but the computer's still on.

So it just means the graphics card has shut itself down and it's gone into turbo mode to cool down, because this top part, the metal bit, gets really hot. I can't even keep my finger on it.

How do I get this off?

This is not good.

Hmm, did I update my GPU driver?

Pretty sure I updated it. About a month ago, but having an out-of-date driver shouldn't cause the whole thing to overheat and shut down. It would just say you have to update your driver.

When I was in Rostam, I just played Vainglory and Darkest Dungeon, and I didn't really feel like I wanted to play Rainbow Six.

And then I got home and I just turned Rainbow Six on and I got addicted to it again.

In Japan, I was just non-stop playing Rainbow Six all day, every day.

I don't know why I like it so much. It's a pretty simple game. It's not really complex or anything.

It just feels satisfying. It's easy to get into a game. You don't have to put loads of effort into playing the game. There's no story you have to pay attention to. It's just a really easy-to-play game,

but there's still skill and challenge to it because you have to fight other people.

I just don't really feel like spending money, so much money, to get a new laptop or a new computer just to play it. If I can fix this graphics card, that'd be great, just by spending £10 on some thermal paste. I think that is the reason. There's, there's barely any paste covering where the chip is.

well most of the time. Sometimes they don't go anywhere, but usually after a while they pick up views.

But on the second channel, you don't really get many views in the first few days, but then you check back after a couple months and then it's got like

Hard day at work with my new computer repair— computer repairs

business.

I used to watch this guy on YouTube called Casey something. And he ran a computer repair business, and then he would make videos teaching you how to fix stuff. People would just send him parts and then he would repair it and then send it back to them. Seemed pretty nice.

Why can't I get this off?

I forgot his last name. It's not like a really popular YouTuber. It's just like some American guy showing you how to build gaming computers and stuff like that.

Before I got big on YouTube, I used to think that'd be nice to do for a living. You have a website and then people order your gaming setups, and then you build it and you put it together and you ship it to them.

Seems like it would be a bit of a headache though if things went wrong or things broke during shipping.

It's kind of annoying when you have a business and you have to ship physical things. When I was running my eBay shop, I had a lot of problems, like the products would break in, in shipment, during shipment, and then you'd have to refund them or send them a replacement, or the package would be damaged, or the package

would get lost.

Too much effort. I prefer to have an online business where my products are digital, so you would be purchasing

He died so young, 34, I think.

All my favorite YouTubers either died or they got banned or they just became irrelevant.

I took it apart and look,

there's a big patch where the chip is. So the chip is having almost direct contact with the, the hot metal.

No, wait, that's not how it works.

It's supposed to have contact because the heat goes onto the hot metal and then the fans blow off the hot metal, but because the paste has dried up, it doesn't have good contact.

I can't think what else could be the problem because the graphics card is shutting itself down when it gets really hot

and the fans go into overdrive mode.

If I can't fix it, what would I do? Hmm.

Either I'd get a replacement graphics card or I'd just buy a laptop,

get a cheap laptop. My laptop from 2019 I left in Japan. It had a GTX 1060 and it played Rainbow Six pretty well, ultra settings. I think GTX 1060 is fine for what I want to do. I don't need a fancy RTX 3,000.

You could take your laptop to London. I don't think I would, because if I was in London, I'd be with her doing more exciting things.

I left my laptop in Japan because I thought I was going to go traveling the world and I thought the laptop would be too heavy to carry around. But then COVID happened and all my plans were ruined.

Turns out the shower pump was just broken, so we got a new pump and now it works. That was it. Easy peasy.

And we got a new shower head, which is very nice.

So now I can wash my foreskin again. I was using that antifungal cream instead of washing my foreskin. I was just putting the cream on. The cream just kills everything under there. And there's no smell. You can put the cream on and then days later you smell my foreskin,

it still smells like nothing. The bacteria just can't breed in that environment with all the eucalyptus oils and alcohol.

Why I hate my graphics card.

I can't play Rainbow Six, I'm so bored. That would be the real video if I was gonna make real stuff, and then no one would care.

I don't know what to do anymore.

Might make my video game review soon. I have to put something on the second channel.

I think it was the Nordgreen promotional video. I was trying to make that and she was there and I really wanted to make it and just get it out of the way.

I tried really hard to make it in front of her. I— it was too difficult. I felt so stupid.

So I told her to go into the bedroom and close the door, and then I made it really quickly.

Quickly. Should check out Monster Hunter Rise. That's what I'm going to do. I downloaded it today.

This game is so rubbish. The loading screen takes 10 seconds. That's too long.

And the character design is just terrible.

I give this game 2 out of 10. The funny thing is most of the people that watch my video game reviews are stupid dumb 10-year-old kids and they don't even know I'm trolling. They think I'm being serious. You look at the comments and it's just full of 10-year-old kids going, this guy doesn't know what he's talking about.

This guy is so stupid, he doesn't know how to play Monster Hunter. And maybe there's one or two that realize it's a troll. It's just a bunch of dumb kids

raging on me.

Trolled them good. The video game troll reviews are a pretty good way of getting easy views. Look at my Mortal Kombat review. I got 51,000 views.

When was the last time hiding in my room got 51,000 views? Exactly.

I haven't gotten 51,000 views on hiding in my room since—

The highest view video I got recently was— well, not recently, but the last time I got a lot of views was the I Got a New Girlfriend. 40K views. 40,000. And it was just Mina.

And Truth Behind Chinese Massage Parlor, for some reason, got 50K views. I don't know how that got so many views. Look at this. It's just me

talking nonsense. My friend Bilbo went to a Chinese massage parlor.

Somehow that got 50k views.

Yeah, the weirdest stuff gets views. Maybe I need to do that again. I need the toilet.

So my plan is thermal paste will come tomorrow. I'll try applying it. Gonna have to Google how to do it. I've never done it before.

And then hopefully that fixes the problem. If it doesn't, then I will stream again moaning.

Maybe look into buying, uh, maybe a laptop.

I don't want to buy a desktop because I don't know if I'm going to travel Or not.

How hard is it to buy a new graphics card? People keep saying it's hard to get a graphics card now. Let's just get the same one, GTX 1060.

GTX 1060, £1,000. Wow, people weren't joking when they were saying that. £1,000 for a GTX 1080, might as well just buy a laptop.

Why are they so expensive now?

Might as well just get a laptop. Now which laptop do I get? If only I wasn't addicted to Rainbow Six, then I wouldn't even care. I wouldn't even care about having a computer if I didn't want to play Rainbow Six.

The computer works for non-gaming. I can browse the web and watch YouTube fine,

but as soon as I start up Rainbow Six, the whole thing just blows up.

I want to get the MacBook.

But people keep saying MacBook's not good for gaming, but I've seen some videos where they play Rainbow Six and Fortnite on the MacBook and it runs fine.

I just want Rainbow Six. Rainbow Six is the only game that cures my depression.

I remember when I was in Rotterdam with Mila, we went to the electronics shop and I was looking at the laptops, the really expensive ones, and I really, really wanted one. They have these crazy gaming laptops for like £4,000. There was one called the Titan Predator or something, and it had a swivel display, and it was like

this massive huge thing,

huge screen on this big pivoting swivel thing, massive fans. It looked so cool,

but the problem with these gaming laptops, the fan is so noisy, it's like a vacuum cleaner.

Good thing about my desktop is it's, it's really quiet. It's got a water cooling system.

I hate the noise. Why is it so windy today?

Well, I think I'm gonna go. Kind of bored now.

I think it's better to use my time to make some videos instead of streaming.
