What I Plan To Do Now My Channel Is Dead

welcome back to my dead channel.

Wow, it's been such a long time since I

streamed.

So this new game I'm playing, it's like

Skyrim but without all the monsters and

dragons, and it's set in Czech

Republic, and it's based off a real

story set in the 1400s.

It's actually quite fun.

Maybe I'll go to Czech Republic. Maybe

Sayaka lives there in the place the game's

set in. But I looked for hotels. So the

game is set in the Czech

Republic, but it's, it's like in the

middle of nowhere countryside. It's an

actual place in real life as well. You can

go into Google Maps and all of the towns

and the villages in the game are there in

real life, and you can go there and

there's like castles from the game. It's

pretty cool actually,

but there's no hotels around that area.

It's kind of out of the way, I guess.

It's not really near anything big.

What's it called? Uh, the place.

Well, in the game, um, the place is— you

start off in a place called Skalitz, and

then you run away to some place called

Townburg, and then nearby there's a place

called Lebetschko, and there's another

place called Ratte, and it's all there in

real life as well. It's pretty cool. Oh,

That's why I kind of haven't been

bothering making videos. You'll see,

you'll notice a pattern where I'm doing

really well in stocks and then I kind of

just disappear from YouTube. It's probably

because I'm making better money on the

stocks. And then when my

stocks crash Then I'm back on YouTube

making videos and streaming and stuff.

Streaming the game? I don't think my

internet could handle it.

you, you kept sending me messages that

were not good for my mental health,

and you, you did it several times, so

unfortunately I had to block a lot of

people who kept trying to bring drama into

my life, and it's just not good for my

mental health.

It's just my mental health right now is

pretty fragile, and I'm just trying to

stay positive. I'm trying to look on the

bright side of things, and when people

message me stuff Like that, it just

it doesn't make me feel good.

Actually, after you sent me that message,

I just felt terrible for like a week, so I

had to block you.

Yeah, it's really hard. You have to

protect. You have to think of your mental

health as a stock. It can go up and it can

go down. You have to minimize things

that can make it go down. You have to do

risk management on your mental health.

And, um, streaming has just been bad for

my mental health because I get triggered.

Trolls come and donate and say annoying

things. I start ranting, I get angry.

And I thought it felt good. I thought this

was good for me, but I just ended up just

really getting angry And annoyed every

time I streamed, and then I had to take a

break from streaming because I was getting

so angry every time I streamed. It was

just a really bad look, I guess.

Just needed a bit of a break from it.

Just had to block a lot of people who keep

annoying me.

Oh, I made so much money last week

from stocks.

I made like $600 off of one trade.

That's, that's almost as much as I make

from YouTube now. I only make like $1,000

Yeah, it's just I don't know how to feel

about it really. Sometimes you can have a

really good trade where you timed it

really well, and then your stock gets

pumped on Wall Street Bets, and you get

got like a 40% gain, and then boom!

just makes me feel like I made $800 just

like that when that would have taken me—

how many videos would it take me? It

would— I have to make like 40 videos to

make that much money.

And then Bitcoin, crypto is all going back

up, so my main portfolio is going back up

too because it's pretty much 50% into

crypto. Everything's going well. The

markets are coming back up, coming back

up, coming back up.

Crypto is coming back up. Um, I had some

pretty good trades. My copy trades are

going well. Yeah, everything I think is

going well.

No need to panic.

I'm only about £6,000 away from breaking

even, and then I've made my money back.

I haven't lost anything apart

from some sleep and a lot of stress.

Why did I disappear so many days? I just

had to have a break, and to be honest,

the channel is just not really getting

many views, so it didn't really feel worth

Slaving away making tons of videos just

for what, $50? I can make $50 like that

on the stock market. I made, I made

$200 off AMC just from

a couple hundred dollars invested, and I

got like a 70% gain.

But that's the thing with the stock

market. You can make so much money easily,

but then you can lose it the next day if

you're not careful. So I need to be

careful, do risk management.

What did I do on my— again, and I got

really far and I got really into it.

Um, yeah, it's pretty good. Wait, people

saying lag. Is it lagging?

Trading is less reliable than YouTube.

If you have patience, then stocks are

pretty good because all

of the stocks I had that crashed, they're

all back up now. And the only reason I'm

not back up to how much I was up before it

crashed was because I panic sold and I

didn't have the courage to carry on

but I haven't gone for it yet,

I've got no plans to travel. Yeah, I

cleaned my room as well,

Warren Buffett is so good at making money

on stocks, because he's just really,

really patient. He'll happily wait 10, 20

years, and he's not sitting there checking

it every second.

You just have to invest in good companies

and then be patient and not buy all-time

highs. But, or if you buy all-time highs,

you've got to be patient because you'll

probably get a correction.

No entry to Japan. Japan's not even open

anyway. So I don't see any point rushing

to get vaccinated when the countries I

want to go to are still not even open

And then I'm a bit worried about my own

health because I've heard people get weird

side effects from the vaccine.

Uh, right now I'm kind of interested in

going to Manchester. If you saw my

community post about the apartment

I probably won't get an apartment,

probably just go there for a few days,

people don't think I can afford £1,500 a

month on rent.

am I currently holding right now? My main

holdings are in Bitcoin mining

stocks, BNGO and Etsy,

and then I've got a bunch of other stuff.

I've got so many different portfolios now.

I've got a copy trade portfolio, I've got

high-risk portfolio, and then I've got my

new portfolio, which is my new plan. So my

new plan is I'm gonna have £6,000 in

one account, and then I'm gonna do

short-term trading, and then at the end of

the month, hopefully I'll have more than

£6,000, and then I'll just take out the

gains and then put it into my bank

account, but keep £6,000 in as like my

default amount. So far

I'm up £800.

So already if I just stop now, I'm good

for June. For June. So it's already— it's

only 15th of June and yeah,

I'm already up £800. I could just put it

all out now, put that £800 away somewhere

safer, and then keep the £6K in for

the next month or for next time

opportunities. And my new, my new rule for

buying stocks is only buy when there's a

good buying opportunity, not when it's at

all-time highs, not when it's going up.

I'm only going to buy when there's been

some kind of news that brings it down, or

it's just in a downtrend, that's when I'm

gonna buy. So no more buying when things

are going to the moon, that's just dumb.

I'm not really doing day trading, I'm

buying the dip and then waiting a couple

days, or waiting a week or 2, and then

selling when it comes back up. And it's

been going pretty well so far.

And then I'm just gonna siphon those gains

into my safe portfolios.

The safe portfolios are the more stable

ones. Yeah, basically swing trading is

what I'm doing. So my main bet right now

is Etsy. Etsy has been down in the

$160-$170 range for months, so I bought

a lot of Etsy at the low $160s, and it's

bouncing in between. So I'm just going to

wait for it to bounce back up to

$170-something and then sell 70% of it.

Also, Cathie Wood bought like $32 million

of Etsy today, so I think Etsy's quite a

honest. It's not just me who seems to be

have 20K views. But to be fair, he is

making these true crime murder videos,

which I don't think YouTube likes very

much, doesn't like to promote it.

And then I saw a couple of other people's

channels where they've got like 150K subs

and they only get 2K views, and they're

kind of fresh channels, they're not old

channels, they blew up like last

year. So I don't know why the channels are

just dying randomly.

I don't know why YouTube does this. I

still feel very strongly about this point

I want to make. Why,

why does YouTube have an algorithm that

kills people's channels and kills people's

motivation? It just means creators are

going to feel less motivated to make

videos if they think, oh, my channel's

dead, what's the point? I'm gonna quit.

They're just gonna get YouTubers to quit.

Why can't they help our channels out?

This stupid algorithm just wrecks it

randomly. Don't they want to motivate

people to make videos and not get the

creators to give up because they feel

like, uh, what's the point?

Why don't they give us a hand? I swear

it's the algorithm. Yeah, it's also a

combination of people getting bored, I

guess. But I swear if the algorithm gave

us a fair chance, we would get way more

views than we're getting now.

The algorithm, it just— it screws you

over. It can give you an audience and then

it can take it away as well.

It's really tough.

My last 3 videos, um, I really tried to

make different kind of topics,

and they have gotten a couple thousand

views from search results. I made a crypto

one that got some search result views.

Uh, I made a one about Japan that

got some results from Japan, life in Japan

search results. But yeah, it's still not

and I don't even feel like going back to

Japan would make much difference. Last

year I went to Germany and And I was

scrolling back looking at the views I got

from last year's Germany trip. It didn't

get very good views. It got like 20K views

on average. I don't know if just being in

The Discord server was also really bad for

my mental health. It's just so many

trolls. I want a Discord where I can just

chat to people about stocks and games and

fun stuff, and but then these trolls keep

coming, they keep trying to annoy me,

and I keep trying to ban them, they keep

coming back, and then they keep messaging

members trying to freak people out. It's

just a headache.

But I guess one good thing about my

channel dying is most of the hate watchers

have disappeared. I guess most my

viewers were hate watchers and I was just

making content that provokes them and

clickbaited them. Now I don't really do

that kind of stuff anymore. I don't really

make— I don't make the provocative videos

I used to make, like why women suck or Why

my ex-girlfriend was fat and ugly. I guess

I have to go back to doing that to get

them to watch again, but I don't want to

do it anymore. It makes me look so bad.

It's just— I don't know how many girls

I've scared off just because I keep making

these videos that make me look like a

terrible person. I just

don't feel like it's worth it anymore.

And the money is not even good. So let's

say I get 30K views from like a video

trashing my ex-girlfriend. It only makes

like $50, $100. It's not worth it for

$100. It's just so

stupid that I just trashed my reputation

and my public image just for like $50

here, $80 there.

When I could make videos about different

topics that, yeah, gets less views, but it

doesn't make a lot less money.

But some of my, my best videos were stuff

like ex-girlfriend tier list, why my

ex-girlfriend was ugly, stuff like that.

But people get so angry about it.

It's just content, bro. Calm down. And

then they were like, Daniel, why did you

make that video? That's so mean. You treat

women so bad. It's just content. I can't

do that now because people get so

triggered by it, and I guess it makes me

look pretty bad.

So now I don't feel like it's worth doing.

Yeah, it got 80k views, but it got rubbish

CPM. Only made like $150. It's pants.

I make $150 like that swing trading AMC

in 5 minutes. I got an 80% gain

on AMC today. I put like £300

on AMC at 44, rode it up to 64, sold.

That content's the only reason your

channel is relevant. Yeah, I know, but you

have to think of it this way. Is that

People take it too seriously. I tell them

my content is just like trolling, it's for

comedic effect, but I match girls on

Tinder, they somehow find my channel, and

then they change their mind. They,

they're like, I saw your channel, it's so

weird. They get freaked out.

I was supposed to have a Tinder date in

London, and then she showed my picture to

her friend, and her friend recognized me

from my channel, and then she just ghosted

me. I guess she scrolled

through the videos and she thought, oh no,

I'm just going to become his next content.

No, I have met girls before and

I didn't make content out of them.

There's tons of girls I met, but— and I

didn't even talk about— well, maybe I

mentioned them, but I didn't go into

detail and I didn't make a whole video

about it. And then if I did make a video

about it, uh, I got their permission

first. Every girl I made a video about—

or nearly every girl— every girlfriend I

made a video about, I asked her if it was

okay. Even the Turkish girl,

she said it was fine when I filmed us

together. It's not like I secretly filmed

her and then just put it onto YouTube. I

said, is it okay if I vlogged it?

So if they're okay with me filming it,

then what's the problem?

These other girls think I'm just gonna

force them into being on my channel

against their will when that's

not true. If you ask me, don't talk about

me, don't film me, don't make a video

about me, I'll say sure, okay,

no problem. I guess they don't trust

me.

30% gain now, but I was scared because

people kept saying Bitcoin's crashing down

to $20K first, so I didn't want to buy

any more buying until there's

another pullback. I just

have to be more disciplined. The thing

with stocks is you need to be buying at

good prices, not when things are

overvalued, and then you need to be buying

good companies.

My main mistake in the beginning of this

year when I got overconfident was that,

uh, I didn't take profits and

put them somewhere safe. I just put them

back into more dangerous stuff. That was

really dumb. I should have diversified.

But now I understand the importance of

diversification and sector rotation and

risk management. I think I've learned a

lot in the past couple months.

Yeah, it's been a really big learning

experience with the stocks.

main passion in life right now is stocks,

anymore, to be honest. I lost my passion

for YouTube probably in 2019

because I lost my passion, or did I lose

my passion because my channel died?

I just really don't know how I'd feel if I

My main goal is to carry on funneling

money into safe stocks so I

can get passive income. Mainly I want

dividends, to be honest. If I was really

rich, I would just invest in dividends,

but I don't have enough money for that.

But I made some dividends recently. Look,

I got, I got £14.50.

£50 from Walgreens Boots, and I got £12

from ExxonMobil, and I got £42 from

Altria Tobacco.

So it's quite nice, they just randomly

send you money. Well, not randomly, they

send you money every few months just for

having— just for owning their stock. It's

pretty cool actually, but you need to own

a lot of stock to get any meaningful

slum video blew up. My Japanese net cafe

All you have to do is just go to some

Japanese place, strap on the GoPro, walk

around. I also looked at crypto mining

rigs. They're pretty cool. You get— you

have to get like 10 graphics cards, rig

them up, and then people just leave them

running all day mining and they make a

couple thousand dollars a month. But then

the mining rig is so expensive. The mining

rig can cost $5,000 or $6,000. It's like

an investment in itself. You might as well

just invest in Bitcoin. Why, why invest in

a mining rig?

I watched Abroad in Japan's new videos.

I don't know why, but I feel like

something changed. Like there's something

silly about his videos now. Like they're

trying too hard to make it funny.

And Natsuki is just really annoying all

I swear he has autism. Natsuki is

like in the onsen blowing into the

hosepipe singing Bon Jovi. I was like,

Jesus, he's a grown man and he's like a

10-year-old kid. People think I'm

autistic. Jesus. It was

so cringy. Oh, every time Natsuki appears,

it's just cringe.

He's like the Hong Kong guy but 10 times

worse. I mean, I guess he's got the

adorable factor, but come on, it's so

cringe every time Natsuki appears.

And then Chris Broad. His kind of humor is

someone says something funny and then

Chris just repeats it but in a sarcastic

tone. So every time you see the pattern—

wholesome cringe. Yeah, I guess it's

wholesome and no one's hating him, but my

God, he's a cringe machine, that Natsuki.

And they keep doing these weird challenges

that have nothing to do with Japan, like

making a rap song, catching their own

bunch. Just, I don't know

how I feel about it.

Am I vaccinated? No, I have no reason to

get vaccinated. Got no girls, I've got no

travel plans. Just staying at home. I've

been self-isolating for 6 months now.

It just— it seems like they put a lot of

I nearly injured my knee though today. I

Yeah, this is the longest I've done

working out for without giving up. I've

been doing it since January. I do Uh,

dumbbell bicep curls 2 times,

sometimes 3 times a day. And then I do 2

sets of push-ups as well.

And then I play football for about an

hour, 2 hours sometimes. I'm getting

really good at it. I can juggle the ball

for ages. Sometimes I can do 40 juggles.

And keep it up in the air.

It's nice having a garden,

but I don't think I'm going to get, you

know, ripped. I'm still going to be

skinny. It's like I still look skinny.

It's going to take a long time,

but I definitely feel like my biceps are a

I still don't get technical analysis.

Reading chart patterns and stuff just

seems a bit silly.
