i have a HUGE TAX problem... [9-YRyvUL7b8]

So as some of you may know, I have a

massive tax problem right now. Basically,

I owe a lot of tax because over the last

few years I made quite a lot of money and

I didn't pay as much tax as I was supposed

to, and I didn't declare all of my income

properly, which I was supposed to do. And

before any Americans say, oh, you didn't

make much money, um, I was making between

£20,000 and £30,000 a year over the last

few years. And in the UK and in most

countries across the world That is quite a

lot of money. I'm so sick and tired of

Americans saying, oh, £20,000-£30,000 a

year is like McDonald's wage. Okay, maybe

in America it's not very good money

because in America you gotta make like

$100,000-$150,000 a year to be able to

say you can live comfortably. Maybe it's

like that in America, but it's not like

that in the rest of the world. My dad,

for example, was a technical engineer

project manager and he only made about

£36,000 a year, which is good money in the

UK, he was able to have a big house,

multiple cars, raise a family, go on

holidays. So yeah, I was making pretty

good money over the last few years, back

when over 2% of my subscribers actually

used to watch my content. Remember those

days? And for some of the years like 2020,

2021, I made nearly £30,000. And in the

UK, you've got to pay like 15%, nearly 20%

tax if you're in that kind of earnings

bracket. And I think I owe about £5,000 or

£6,000 in tax just for 2020 alone. I also

owe a lot of tax for basically all of the

other years that I didn't do my

self-assessment accurately. 2019, I owe

£2K. 2020, I owe about £5K or £6K.

2021, I think I'm going to owe about £4K

or £5K. 2022, I owe about £4K.

So I think in total, I'm going to owe

maybe £16,000 to £18,000 in

tax for all of those years put together.

And that's before they even apply the

penalties. So because I didn't declare all

of my income properly and I didn't pay

enough tax and there were inaccuracies, I

am gonna get a massive penalty that could

be between 50 to 100% penalty slapped

onto what I owe already. I don't think

it's going to be the maximum penalty

because I didn't forge documents or

Photoshop stuff, so I think I'm just going

to get the 50 to 70% penalty, which is

still quite a lot. Imagine I get like 70%

penalty slapped onto £18,000. I think I'm

gonna owe nearly £30,000 in taxes

plus penalties. And obviously I don't have

£30,000. Where am I going to get £30,000

now that my YouTube channel is dead? I'm

not making the same kind of money that I

used to be making back then. So I have to

pay this massive tax bill based on

earnings I was making a couple of years

ago or nearly 4 years ago when my channel

was actually booming. And now I don't make

that money anymore. Having to pay that

massive tax bill when I'm making the money

I make now is basically impossible. I'm

currently only making about £10,000 a

year, and I have to spend over half of

that on my rent and food and expenses and

stuff like that. So at the end of the

year, after I've paid all my expenses, I

probably only have about £4,000 left over.

So it would take like nearly 8 or 7 years

before I could save up £30,000. So I don't

know how I'm gonna get this money.

Currently have about £17,000 in my stock

portfolio, and I would have to sell all of

my stocks, and even then it won't even

come close to being able to pay nearly

£30,000. I don't know if I can do some

kind of payment plan spread over a few

years, then maybe that would be okay for

me. But they're saying that I need to pay

the money by the end of September.

There's basically no way I can just

magically summon nearly £30,000

within a month. I've only got £17,000 or

£18,000. How am I gonna get the rest of

the money? I have no idea. So you might be

wondering if I made so much money in the

past few years. Where is the money now?

That's a, that's a very good question,

and I would like to know too. Um,

basically, I lost a lot of it in the stock

market, and I spent a lot of it traveling

the world and meeting girls. And I

actually blame a lot of it on Mila. So you

remember Mila, the girl that I was

obsessed with and couldn't stop obsessing

over? And I wasted a lot of money to go to

Rotterdam and live in that crappy little

apartment in Rotterdam where I was being

ripped off. I was spending like £1,200 a

month for that stupid apartment. And then

I paid nearly £3,000 for 2 months deposit,

which they never gave back to me. They

said that I broke the sofa and I made a

mess in the kitchen or something like

that, and they just ghosted me and blocked

me and didn't pay me back any of the

deposit money just because I broke a sofa,

as if it cost £3,000 just to get a new

sofa. I'm really annoyed with Mila because

she basically destroyed my YouTube

channel. I fell in love with her so badly

that I was willing to destroy my YouTube

channel and sacrifice my credibility and

destroy the trust between me and my

viewers by making fake content. I had to

make this fake content whilst I was with

Mila because she didn't let me talk about

our relationship or vlog together, and she

didn't even want me to tell my viewers

that I was in Rotterdam because she was

scared of being judged by my viewers. So

in order to make her happy and make her

not dump me again, I had to obey her

rules, and I made all this fake stuff

like, oh, I'm working in a sandwich

factory in Germany, and I'm doing this,

I'm like living on a boat, which was an

Airbnb boat. And I spent a lot of money on

Airbnbs and rent and stuff like that in

Rotterdam and Germany traveling with Mila,

and she wouldn't even let me vlog us

together and tell my viewers what we were

actually up to. And I destroyed a lot of

my reputation, and a lot of my viewers

turned against me and stopped watching my

channel because they found out that I

faked a lot of stuff. And I felt like it

was either fake stuff or lose my

relationship with this girl that I was

crazy for. And as you know, I chose Mila

over the channel. And decided to go and

live in Rotterdam so I could be with her.

And look how it turned out. I ended up

losing thousands of pounds in rent and

staying there, and she destroyed my

channel, and my content was just kind of

rubbish after the whole meter thing

happened. And then she dumped me anyway.

And the annoying thing is, if she dumped

me 4 days later, I could have claimed that

I was non-UK tax resident, because in the

UK, if you're outside of the UK for over

182 days, then you can claim to be non-UK

tax resident, and you wouldn't have to pay

tax on the money you made. Whilst outside

of the UK. Unfortunately, I was outside of

the UK for only 179 days, so if I

literally just stayed in Rotterdam for

another 3 or 4 days, I would have been

over that number and I would have been

able to say I was living in Rotterdam.

But no, I spent all this money trying to

make her happy and traveling here and

there, and she never paid anything because

she was broke and she had no money. So

obviously I had to pay for everything,

and some of the Airbnbs in Rotterdam cost

me like £2,000 just for a couple weeks.

So yeah, I had a good time back then and I

enjoyed it whilst it was happening, but

now I'm having to pay the consequences of

overspending and just having a good time,

I guess, when I should have been spending

that money, using that money to pay my

tax. Sometimes I really feel like I regret

meeting Mila. Meeting Mila just set off

this chain of events that gave me the

worst depression that I ever felt my

entire life. She had this really negative

impact and effect on my channel because it

made me kind of hate making videos.

Videos because the reason she dumped me

the first time was basically because she

didn't like my content or my toxic

audience or the toxic nature of my

content. And back then I felt like I was

making good content even though it was

weird and toxic. People enjoyed it and

found it entertaining, but I lost the

willpower to make that stuff after

experiencing catastrophic heartbreak

because of the content. Sometimes I feel

like meeting Mila was like this cursed

fantasy that came true. It's kind of like

a corrupt your dream. I had this dream of

dating this young cute girl and it came

true, but then the negative consequences

and effects of that relationship, which is

so great, and I'm still feeling them

today. And people keep telling me that I

should get a tax accountant or a tax

advisor. I did pay £150 a couple months

ago, earlier this year, for a tax

accountant, and it was basically a waste

of money because I showed him my

statements and my earnings, and he

basically just came to the same number

that I came to by myself. He just added up

all the earnings, deducted the expenses,

and said I had to pay this amount of tax,

which is the exact amount that I worked

out by myself. So he didn't really help me

save any money. I think I have enough

money to be able to pay all of the tax by

myself, but I don't have enough money to

pay the penalties. So I don't know how I'm

going to get the money for the penalties.

I'm really hoping they'll let me do some

kind of monthly payment plan. I was really

stupid because I thought I was going to

keep making loads of money every year for

years to come. And if there were any

problems with tax or penalties or fines,

I would easily be able to pay it off

because I thought I'd still be making like

£30,000 a year even now. But

unfortunately, YouTube is not exactly very

reliable, and one year can be really

great. Like, last year was great. I had

videos like Elden Ring do really well,

and people were still interested in my

vlogs and my streams. And then I don't

know what happened, but like, after

halfway through of this year, people just

stopped watching, and I went from getting

like 10-15K views now down to below 5K

views. Some of my videos have as low as

only 2 or 3K views now, and there hasn't

really been much trending topics or games

I can cover that can really boost my views

up. So yeah, as you can tell, I'm pretty

scared about my future. The last few

months have been pretty bad on YouTube. I

haven't had any big videos get big views.

There hasn't really been many big video

games, and my core audience is just

getting smaller and smaller and smaller

and losing interest, and there's nothing I

can do to interest them. I've done and

tried loads of different types of content

like IRL streaming out in Bangkok, going

on massages and doing content with my

girlfriend out in the city, but nothing

seems to be able to interest my old

viewers anymore. Even going back to Japan

and streaming every day didn't bring

people back to the channel. All of my

streams in Japan only got like 5-6K views

on average, and the amount of viewers I

had on those streams were exactly the same

as I used to have when I was here in

Thailand. So there's probably nothing I

can do to bring back the old viewers

unless I just got back with Chihiro

somehow. I'm just feeling really

disappointed and defeated and upset that

after all these years of grinding hard on

YouTube and making myself look like an

idiot and sacrificing all of these

relationships and destroying relationships

and marriages and doing all this cringe

stuff, I've got basically nothing to show

for it now. I don't even have the money

anymore because all my money is about to

get completely wiped out having to pay

back all this that I made from all those

views that I don't get anymore. I've got

nothing to show for it. I got a channel

with over 100K subs where only 2% of the

subs actually watch my stuff. I basically

make no money anymore, and all the money I

did make is about to get completely

obliterated. All I can do now is hope that

the penalties are not too much and they'll

give me a monthly payment plan and they'll

work with me to find a way that I can pay

it off. And hopefully some big video game

is going to come out soon where I can make

a bunch of content about the video game

and get couple million views, which would

really help out. I'm really trying hard to

stay positive and not be completely all

gloom and doom and try and find any kind

of light at the end of the tunnel, but it

is getting very difficult and I'm losing
