Testing. I just got back from work. Now

it's time to stream.

What's not going well? Everything.

Well, I had some good shifts today, so at

least that went well. I had 2 blocks,

1 PM and then 6 PM. So the 1 PM,

very easy, just around residential

houses. But someone tried to steal the

parcel. I went up to the door about to

ring the doorbell, and then this

shady-looking kid, probably in his 20s,

who was driving a white van. He had a

mullet, like a '70s mullet, white guy,

and he was like, oh yeah, that's for me,

mate. And so I stupidly give him the

parcel. I rang the doorbell and then he

came up to me and he was like, that's for

me, mate. And then he took the parcel, so

I gave it to him. I'm so dumb. But then

the person who it was supposed to be for

opens the door Comes out,

and then I yell at the guy, "Could I have

it back?" And then he he came back and

gave it back to me, and I said, "Nice

try," and I gave it to the woman who

answered the door. I am so dumb. Why did I

give it to him? Did you really get it? If

they would like a cuppa too.

and multivitamins. Yeah, the absolute gall

of some people to just go up to an Amazon

delivery driver and say, oh yeah, mate,

that's mine. Surprised he gave it back.

Well, we caught him. The owner of the

house came out and we were looking at him,

so got his license plate too if he

tried to run off. This is like a £5

package. What does he think he's gonna get

out of an Amazon package? Like an iPhone

or something? As if I just hand over a

parcel that's expensive without asking for

the password. If it's like a— it was a big

squishy parcel, like a plastic-wrapped

squishy parcel, probably had a jumper or

some socks in it. Is it really worth

stealing that? God, people have such

nerve.

I gotta be careful. I was just kind of

shocked. I couldn't believe people

actually do that. I thought they looked

shady. 2 like pikey looking guys in a

white van were following. I felt like they

were following me, and then they overtook

me, went around the corner. I pulled up,

and then I walked to the door, and then

they— one of them comes up to me, says

it's his parcel.

That was close. Too close.

Luckily I gave it directly to— that's why

you gotta ring the doorbell, I guess. Now

I'm very nervous about leaving it on the

doorstep. That area, although the houses

were big and the roads were wide, it is

kind of a crap area. Very shady

weed-smelling people everywhere. Yeah,

that area, not good for leaving parcels on

the doorstep.

He must be 4th generation Irish gypsy. He

doesn't have the accent because he grew up

in Maidstone probably, but I bet you

anything his parents are probably Irish or

his grandparents were gypsies. You can

just kind of tell the type I really need

to be more aware.

And then the evening block, I actually

cancelled it. Trying to gamble here. I

cancelled my evening block, seeing if I

can get an afternoon block for tomorrow.

So I cancelled it, and then 5 minutes

later it popped up again, but this time

paying slightly more for less hours. So I

took it back, and then I went and did it.

I got a 2.5-hour block. Paid £60.

Can you believe that? That's insane.

Never seen such a good rate. That's like

60 divided by 2.5, £24 an hour.

And it took me about 2 hours to finish

because it was partly in Rochester and

partly in Cuxton, which was a very lovely

place. It was a really nice shift apart

from one woman. I had to deliver an Xbox.

It needed a password. She was the wife.

The husband ordered it. The husband was

out, probably cheating. The husband wasn't

answering the phone, couldn't get the

password. She didn't know his email, so I

said, sorry, I can't give it to you. I got

it in my car now, my Xbox now. Gotta take

it back tomorrow. It's really annoying

because I don't have any shifts tomorrow,

so I wouldn't have had to go, but now I

have to go because I've got to take back

this stupid Xbox. And then yesterday

happened as well. It sent me back to the

place, you know, the place I got locked in

the car park. It sent me back there. This

time I didn't park in there. Should have

vandalized the stupid padlock. Should have

brought my super glue. I should have

filled the keyhole full of super glue so

they can't lock their stupid padlock. As

if anyone wants to steal your banger trash

cars. Everyone in there is driving shit

cars like 2001 rusty Ford Focus banger.

As if anyone wants to steal your crap car.

Why do you need to have a padlocked

apartment as if it's Fort Knox or

something? Stupid idiot locked me in the

car park. Shouldn't have delivered his

different box for the house outside on the

no one came. Oh well, not getting your

parcel. I took it back to the warehouse.

I still get paid the same.

So yeah, work-wise things are great. I

made £123 today. Look,

earnings. Look how much money I made in

one day. £123 for

about 4 hours worth of work, a couple

hours driving. And then on the

way home on the motorway, there was like a

massive light show, massive light beams

flailing everywhere. It was kind of

don't get it because last time I did a

stream, which was literally 2 days ago,

she was in the chat and she was fine.

Everything was fine. I didn't sense

anything wrong. When was that? Monday.

So Tuesday we talked a bit and

it was fine. I thought, you know, had a

nice conversation. But then she— but

then I didn't reply to her last message

because I thought, well, that's the end of

today's conversation. But then she got

upset because I didn't reply and I don't

talk much. And now she's

not talking to me.

It's really, really hard to keep up with

this. One minute I feel like everything's

fine and great with us, and then it just

suddenly flips,

like 180-degree flip.

So she said that I don't

enjoy talking to her, which is not true.

I really like talking to her. I just

didn't say a lot on that date.

I didn't know I was supposed to message

every day. She said she didn't mind if I

didn't message every day a month ago.

So I'm— I don't know, she says one thing,

but then I do what she says and then she

gets upset. So I don't know what to do,

like don't listen to her or do listen to

And then she said my excuse of not knowing

what to talk about is BS because I stream

for hours and hours and hours talking.

back, my mum said the ticket man told me

that I shouldn't be parked here, but he

didn't give us a ticket. So if they know

that we're delivering, he wouldn't give us

a ticket. It's just that my car doesn't

look like a delivery vehicle. And then I

went to Amazon today, they were giving out

Christmas presents. Look, I got another

Christmas present. This one a lot better

than the other black bags.

They gave me a blue bag and the gifts are

the video and then post it back up again

it at the door. I hate these apartments

Why do they lock the door? No one's trying

to get in. Just have like a lobby that

anyone can get into so I can leave my

parcel. So I just left it outside the door

on the street. Hopefully no one stole it.

I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

The problem is if I refused to deliver it,

I would have gotten a penalty and it would

say one item undelivered. So at least this

way it's a risk, but it's not 100% chance

of getting a penalty. I hate these people

ordering off Amazon. They're not home to

receive the delivery. They don't have a

post box or anything.

Just don't order off Amazon then. Just

making my life difficult. You literally

live in the town. Just buy it from a shop,

whatever you're buying. Lazy idiot.

And these people ordering expensive things

that need a password and then they're not

at home to receive the parcel and give me

the password. You could at least give your

wife the password. If you're going out, I

mean, who goes out at 7 PM to

do— just stay at home, have dinner with

your wife, for fuck's sake. She said he's

out doing rugby or something. He's

probably doing next-door neighbor. That's

why his phone's off. At least give

the passcode to your wife so she can take

the delivery. Jesus. She tried phoning

him, but he didn't pick up.

So irritating. Now we'll go back to the

warehouse and take it back.

It says return the parcel today. No

thanks, I'm not going all the way back to

the warehouse today. Going home. Or return

it next day before 10 AM, but I've

actually returned it at 1 PM. Twice and

I didn't get in trouble, so I'm not waking

up in the morning to go and rush back to

return the stupid parcel. I'll go when I

want to go. I haven't gotten any

complaints about late returns.

And then this Indian man stops next to me,

to check my maps and to figure out what to

doing this for 4 months. As if I don't

know there's numbers, but the numbers are

useless. I don't need the numbers.

I mean, it doesn't take me that

long to look for the parcels in the car

for me to need the numbers.

So the way they bunched up the routes for

the evening shift was it was like a

cluster in Cuxton. I still find that

place name really funny. And then another

cluster outside of Rochester, and then a

third cluster also around Rochester.

So I decided to go to Rochester first

because that's furthest away, and then

work my way back to Maidstone. 'Cause I'm

gonna be coming back to Maidstone anyway,

and also I hate Rochester, so I thought

I'd get that over and done with first.

But luckily it sent me to not the

Rochester town centre, which is horrible.

It sent me to nice little quiet

residential areas with lots of street

parking, so I was very happy with that.

Right, I just stay home if I have food in

my fridge. Oh, thanks Jenkins. Yeah,

that's the best way. Don't go to a

restaurant and spend like £20 on dinner.

Just get food from a supermarket.

Yeah, I was really happy with today's

shift apart from the woman not having the

code, and also I had to drive into a flood

and deliver to some weird shady house.

But apart from that, it was a pretty good

route. And then I came back, came back to

Maidstone on the A-road, took a left at

the roundabout, onto the M20 back home.

I'm really getting used to the roads here,

really starting to feel like I know the,

the area well. Like the M20, the

roundabouts— there's like 3 roundabouts

that are pretty big that can get you into

different parts of Maidstone.

And then all the lanes, starting to

remember all these pretty well.

I just really don't like Rochester and

Chatham. Not nice places.

And also some parts of Maidstone, really

not nice places, like Penenden Heath,

Boxley Road, not nice. Upper Stone Street,

ugh, horrible. It's right outside of the

Maidstone Prison and it's just full of

traffic all the time. There's nowhere to

park. You gotta park around the corner or

risk it on a double yellow line.

They should just lock up half of Maidstone
