I want to say. So I'm moving to Malaysia

because I got a government job as the

assistant to the Prime Minister.

people say they don't like it when I play

music because it's too loud.

I won't play it then if you just want to

hear my voice. People complain every time

I make a loud noise or I start whistling

or I eat because it sounds gross, or I

play my banjo. Maybe I'll play it later

after I run out of things to talk about

because I'm getting pretty good at it.

I can play E minor and a C chord and

I think a D. I'm getting blisters on my

fingers. I practiced it for like 5 hours

straight yesterday. I just couldn't stop

playing it, and then I got blisters on my

fingers, and now I couldn't practice

yesterday and today. Maybe I can practice

today, but it still feels a bit fuzzy.

I learned a new song on it, and I started

to learn Monkey Island, but I can only

play the first bit.

My recent videos didn't do very well. The

illustrated ones.

I got into a bit of trouble actually,

because guess who started messaging me

after one of my illustrated videos? She's

not very happy because I told everyone we

had you know what. Although technically I

didn't really say that. I said, on the

first night we had beep. So I didn't

technically say that we did it,

but she messaged me a load saying, don't

tell people we did you know what.

I think she's mad.

Too many rehashes. No, the Manchester girl

was a new story, and the Essex girl one is

kind of half new. And what

was the other ones?

I forgot now.

My memory is so bad, I can't even remember

what videos I made. That's why I keep

rehashing my stories, because I keep

forgetting. Oh yeah, my ex-wife betrayed

me. Yeah, I guess that's a rehash. I've

told that story loads now. I just

thought the title was funny.

How could she betray me with my best

I don't have any new stories that

are interesting because I've been meeting

people. It's just It's not really that

interesting to make a whole video about.

Met them, went to London, hung out, went

for dinner.

Oh yeah, I went to the optician yesterday.

video about it. Guess how much it cost me

to get new glasses? I'm not wearing them

now, but I got new glasses yesterday. It

cost me £550. That's like $700.

So I got new— I got a new frame that looks

pretty much the same as my current frames,

and I got prescription sunglasses with

the same frame. So I got 2 of the same

frames. One is just clear The second one

sunglasses with the lens power,

and then I asked them if they could put

the new lens into these frames because I

really like these frames, and they said

yes they can. So I have to when when they

contact me again, I have to go in to pick

up the new glasses, and then I'll give

them these to send them off so they can

put the new lenses into them, and then

they'll send these back to me. So I have

two normal frames and a 3rd one for

sunglasses. I finally decided to get my

eyes tested because last time I went to

Malaysia in 2018, I couldn't see

anything. I could— well, everything was

just like blurry. All of the beautiful

scenery and the mountains were all kind of

fuzzy, and I really felt a bit upset that

I couldn't see the beauty very clearly.

And I had to wear those sunglasses

over my glasses and it was so

uncomfortable. But Malaysia is so bright,

you really need sunglasses or a hat, and I

don't like wearing hats, so I really

wanted sunglasses. Then I found out on

Amazon you can get these clip-on shaded

lenses that just clip onto your glasses

over the top, and then they just kind of

go over it. I could have gotten that, but

they look kind of silly.

And then I had to pay extra because I need

thinning as well. So I had to pay an extra

something to get 35% thinning. I guess

I could have gotten the 50% thinning, but

that was even more expensive. I don't know

if there's a big difference, but I really

need thinning because my lenses are so

thick. And they were so shocked when I

told them the last time I got my eyes

tested. It was 2006.

It was pretty funny. They just stared

at me and they were like, you haven't had

your eyes tested in 17 years?

Actually, technically I got them tested in

2010 because I was interested in laser eye

surgery, but I just got them tested and

then I never did the surgery or bought

glasses because it was like £1,500 per

eye. Back then I was poor, so there's no

way I was going to spend 3K just to get

laser surgery. I wonder if it would have

covered in grease and they were like

gross because all the skin and oil gets

stuck in them after wearing them for such

Christmas before my dad died. I don't

remember why, but Chihiro grabbed me from

behind and she squeezed me really hard and

she pressed her arm into my glasses and it

broke one of the nose pads off and I was

really upset. And then my dad fixed it for

me. He put— he transferred some other nose

pad from another pair of glasses.

So I feel a bit sad that I lost those now,

but I got new nose pads for these bits.

But the good thing about my new glasses,

they don't have nose pads. They've just

got like a ridge, plastic ridge that rests

on your nose. So hopefully it won't

get full of skin flakes and oil.

and you get guided off to some hotel and

enter Japan as a guided tour, are they

to the other teachers? They should

introduce themselves to us. I'm the

student. Treating me like I'm some servant

or slave. I'm paying you. You're the

slave, bitch. You're the teacher.

You work for me. I'm paying your salary,

So I quit that stupid class and I went

back home. I mean, I was at home anyway.

I went back to looking for Japanese

England You do sixth form when you're

17, I think, for 1 year, and then you go

on to A-levels, which is 17 and 18 for 2

years. And then you need to get good

grades in A-levels to be able to get into

university, and I just failed all my

A-levels. I got okay GCSEs,

just Bs and Cs.

I hate being told what to do. I hate being

treated like a kid. I hate being bossed

around. So I don't want to go to school

ever again.

And then one time I was at the job center

and they forced me to go to this 2-week

course about writing CVs and how to apply

for jobs, and it was so boring. I've heard

all this stuff before, and I was just

sitting there doodling on the paper, not

listening. And the teacher saw me, and

then he took me to the other room and gave

me a lecture. He was like, Daniel, do you

think it's fair for you to sit there

doodling whilst I'm trying to teach your

class? How do you think I feel about that

when I see you just doodling? I told

him to go fuck himself. No, I said— no,

I just said, yeah, I guess you're right.

And then he said, do you want to be here

or not? I said, I don't really want to be

here. So he sent me home, and then he

snitched on me to the job center, even

though he said he wouldn't. Stupid Pauline

paying attention. I said, yeah, because I

heard all this stuff before. I know how to

write a stupid CV.

Then she tried to sanction my benefits,

treating me like an idiot.

CVs are so dumb. I hate writing a CV.

Have you ever written a CV in Japan?

That's the worst thing ever. At least in

England, you can write it up on the

computer and just print out copies. Oh my

God, in Japan you have to handwrite every

single copy of your CV and you're not

allowed to photocopy it because

the Japanese think it's lazy if

you type it up on the computer and print

out copies. I mean, that's what I was

told. I don't know if that's actually true

or if they still applies today. Who's

applied for a job in Japan recently? Is it

still like that? Because when I was at the

guest house, all the Japanese people were

telling me, Daniel, you have to handwrite

it one by one. And I kept messing up the

kanji, and you're not allowed to scribble

out the kanji you messed up and write

again. You've got to start a whole new CV

without any mistakes, otherwise it looks

bad. Can you imagine writing out your

entire address in Japanese with katakana,

hiragana, and kanji like 20 times without

making any mistakes? And if you make a

mistake, you have to redo the whole thing.

And I went to apply for this job in a

restaurant, and the stupid Japanese old

man complained that my CV wasn't very

good. And that I only had level 2 JLPT,

and that's not very good.

So, oh, only level 2? That's pretty

mediocre. Shut the fuck up,

idiot. Better than whatever you

can speak in English. He used the word

soko soko, which means like Meh,

kind of. It's not meh, it's level 2.

Level 2 is damn hard to pass. Level 2

is good. Bet he couldn't pass level 2.

A lot of Japanese people can't even pass

And then he kept saying that I needed

cooking experience, even though the advert

said you didn't need experience. And he

said, oh, that's for the hall staff. The

waiter stuff. So I said, well, can I apply

for that job then? He was like, no, no,

such a prick.

They're so dumb. He was like, you need—

why would I employ you when you have no

cooking experience and then we'd have to

train you up? But even if I had cooking

experience, you still need to train me up

so I learn your stupid recipes. Piece on

your menu. It's not like I know the menu.

Even Gordon Ramsay wouldn't know how to

make your menu. He would still have to

learn it.

Ugh, Japanese people are so rude.

Never look for a job in Japan. I swear,

just do YouTube. I mean, if I could blow

I played Hitman 3 and I was enjoying that,

but then I got bored. So it's just the

same thing over and over in different

locations, and it's really easy.

There's no challenge. You just kill

everyone really easily, and then you go

hide in a closet and then change

disguises.

It's silly how you can just— there's one

level in this Middle Eastern region,

and There's like some kind of riot going

on outside a Swedish embassy, and there's

like a US Army base full of soldiers and

stuff. I just wiped out the entire army

base by headshotting them all peeping

around a corner, and then you steal the

army uniform. You can just sneak around.

It's such an easy game.

Sekiro is okay. It's like Elden Ring, but

you can't level up. There's no huge

selection of weapons and armor. There's no

spells. There's no different playstyles or

builds. You just get a samurai sword, you

got a grappling hook, and you got some

arrows, and you got heavy attack and light

attack, and you can parry and counter,

and that's it. It's like really, really

basic Elden Ring swordplay,

but it's good if you just want to focus on

swordplay and not bother with leveling up.

And getting armor and gear and stuff.

I feel like in a way Elden Ring ruins

itself because if you get stuck, you just

go and level up and then you come back and

then you're way more overpowered than the

enemies are. But you can't do that in

Sekiro, so it's like

entirely skill-based. Elden Ring, you

could just cheese it so much. You get

stuck on one castle, you just level up

like 20 times, get some new weapons, come

back. Easy.

Where do I see myself in 5 years? Yeah,

hopefully still here. This is the weird

thing I don't get with people. Why do they

think my life seems so shit that I would

like my current life situation to be

different to what it is now? My life's

great now. I've got dates.

I live in a nice big house. I got a big

sunny garden. Look at that. I got my

electric bike. I got easy money from

YouTube and OnlyFans.

The thing I'm scared about is losing it.

I really start to crave fish and chips and

in England. I had really nice sushi

yesterday. Tuna salmon avocado roll with

little eggs sprinkled out outside of it.

Tasted as good or maybe even better than

anything I had in Japan.

Do I still trade stocks? Yeah, I haven't

checked it today. I might check it now.

Oh, nothing. I thought something went up a

lot, but it, it just crashed down a lot

and then bounced back up to where it was
