My girlfriend took a pregnancy test

So sometime last week when I was talking

to my girlfriend, she suddenly said to me

that she wasn't feeling very well. She's

feeling a bit sick, as in the kind of, I

feel like I want to throw up kind of sick.

And the first thing that entered my mind

is— was, is she pregnant? And I asked her,

are you pregnant? And she said that she

wasn't really thinking about pregnancy.

So I asked her if she was on the pill

whilst we were having sex, and she

actually said no. I wasn't really that

surprised to hear that she wasn't on the

pill because We were talking about babies

before, and she made it very clear that

she did want my babies. And I was getting

kind of worried because we had a lot of

unprotected sex. We didn't use a condom

even once, and I finished inside of her

every single time. So I don't really see

how she could not be pregnant. So I said

to her, maybe you should try taking a

pregnancy test and then we can find out.

And she said that she thinks it's too soon

to be taking a pregnancy test, which I

didn't really understand because it's been

3 weeks. Since we first had sex. There was

this giant housefly just now and I

squashed it with my passport and all this

yellow and white cream came out the back

of it. Bloody houseflies trying to

interrupt my videos. What was I talking

about? Yeah, so I said to my girlfriend,

you should take a pregnancy test, and she

said that it might be too soon to tell if

she's pregnant or not, which I didn't

really understand because it's been like 3

weeks now since we first had sex. So, so I

thought that if she was pregnant, if she

took a pregnancy test now, it It should be

able to tell us if she's pregnant or not.

Anyway, I asked her, what do you want to

do if you were pregnant? And she repeated

the question to me. Don't you just hate it

when you ask someone a question and then

they just ask you back the question

instead of answering the question? So I

said to her, no, I asked you first, so you

have to answer. And she said that if she

was pregnant, that she would want to have

the baby. She would want to give birth to

it. Which I guess made me feel happy,

but I was also a bit worried because I

don't really feel like I'm ready to have a

baby right now. I don't mind having one.

It's just that I'd rather get things

sorted out first, like the visa sorted out

first and getting a job sorted out first

before we make the babies. It's like we've

got the whole order back to front.

Usually people get married and then they

get a job and they get like the money

stuff sorted out first and then they start

making babies. But we haven't even gotten

anything sorted out. We're not even living

in the same country and She, she wants to

give birth to my baby. Yeah, sometimes it

does kind of shock me and surprise me how

eager she is to get married to me and have

my babies, even though we've only

technically been dating for 2 weeks.

We've known each other since January, but

I've only been in Japan— we've only been

like physically together for 2 weeks. For

some reason, she seems to think that I

would be a good provider, that I could get

a decent job and earn decent money, when

she knows that I'm just working in a

petrol station and I don't have any

qualifications. Maybe it's because I

talked to her about making money doing

translating and illustrating and doing

YouTube, that she thinks that I could make

that into like a full-time career. But

honestly speaking, I'm making peanuts from

doing those things. I'm making like $300

to $400 a month from YouTube,

illustrating, and translation. It's not

going to be able to— I'm not going to be

able to raise a family, or I can't even

live by myself on that kind of money. But

for some reason, she seems to believe in

me. She seems to think that I would be a

good provider, a good supporter, and I

don't know, maybe she just has really poor

judgment, or she's not— she doesn't really

know me very well. I don't even believe in

myself sometimes. I don't know how she has

so much faith in me already. She said that

she was a bit worried that if she was

pregnant and she told me, that I might do

a runner and leave her. But I said no, I

wouldn't do that. Of course I would take

responsibility and we would have the baby

together. Besides, think of the views we

would get on YouTube. Daniel becomes a

father! Can you imagine how many views we

could get on that kind of— those kind of

videos? No, I didn't try to get my

girlfriend pregnant on purpose just for

YouTube. What kind of monster do you think

I am? Anyway, fast forward to one week

later to this week, and she actually told

me that she took a pregnancy test and it

came back negative. She's not pregnant

according to that pregnancy test. I don't

know if it's 100% accurate or if it's too

soon to be taking the test, or if she took

the test again in like a few weeks later,

would it come up as positive? I'm not

sure. But I don't know, I felt a bit

strange. Like, we had so much unprotected

sex, how could she not be pregnant? I

guess I'm— I guess I have some kind of

problem down there. My sperm is not

functioning properly. I asked her how she

felt about the test coming up as not

pregnant, and she said that she actually

felt a bit disappointed. She was a bit

upset. And I said, did you want to be

pregnant? And she said, a little. She said

she wanted— she wished she was pregnant.

And I said to her that I felt a bit

relieved that she wasn't pregnant and that

we should start planning things properly,

like getting the visa sorted out and

getting money stuff sorted out and getting

jobs sorted out before we start getting

pregnant. And she said that she was

actually a bit upset with my answer. She

said that she was a bit upset that I felt

relieved that she wasn't pregnant. I don't

know, I feel like I have mixed feelings.

On one hand, I feel relieved that she's

not pregnant because if she was pregnant

That would have been very stressful. But

then I feel kind of disappointed that

she's not pregnant. Like, how could we

have so much unprotected sex and she's not

pregnant? There must be something wrong

with me, right? Am I impotent? Have I

given myself a vasectomy from sitting

cross-legged all the time? I don't even

know if that's possible or not. I sit

cross-legged like 80% of the times. I sit

like a freaking woman when I sit down.

Um, so yeah, someone let me know in the

comments if it's actually possible. To

give yourself a vasectomy by sitting with

your legs crossed. If I went to the

hospital and had like a checkup and they

told me that I was impotent, I don't

really know how I'd feel about that. On

one hand, I'd feel like it's a big relief

that I don't have to worry about bringing

up children or raising kids. But on the

other hand, I would also feel disappointed

because what if some point in the future I

do become really successful and money

isn't a problem? Then I would like to

attract a mate and have lots of offspring

because the only thing that's holding me

back right now is money. I don't have

enough money to raise a family, but if I

had enough money, I would like to raise a

family. So I said to my girlfriend, maybe

we should start using condoms from now on.

I mean, it would be— it would make the

situation kind of complicated if you just

suddenly got pregnant and we had to rush

to get married and we had She had to rush

to get me a visa, and I had to rush and

get another job in a convenience store.

And she was a bit upset with this answer.

She said that she didn't really want to

use condoms, but if I'm— if it makes me

worried that she might get pregnant, then

it would be a good idea to start using

condoms. I think it would be a great

tragedy to the world if my genes didn't

get passed on. I mean, look at this face.
