I'm going to try and be very careful what

I say today cuz all my streams are getting

demonetized recently. I don't know why.

It's like they, they're monetized whilst

I'm streaming, but then when I end the

stream it gets demonetized, and then I

request a review, and 4 times out of 5 it

gets reviewed and set back to green. But

the fish stream for some reason got

reviewed and they said, um,

we have determined it's not suitable for

ads. And I watched back the stream and I

just— I can't figure out why. What did I

say that was so bad that means the stream

was not suitable for ads? Some people were

saying the fish tank was cruel or

something, or something like— because I

was saying one donation equals one treat,

it seems like I'm saying if

I don't get a donation, then I don't feed

my fish, which is not what I was saying.

But maybe the reviewer saw it as

I was only gonna feed my fish if I get

donations. I don't know. They don't tell—

it's so annoying because they don't tell

you. They don't tell you why it got

demonetized. If you tell me, then I won't

do it in the future. Is it hard? Why can't

they leave a little note saying

demonetized because X, Y, and Z?

No, it's not because of malpractice for

carrying fish. I had fish in Japan. I

streamed my fish all the time. But again,

like I said before, that was 4 years ago,

so maybe they got stricter since then. I

don't know. Also, I remember I streamed in

the market and I showed all of the animals

in the cages. So if the last stream— and

that, that stream also got demonetized and

then reviewed and set back to green. So

obviously animals in a cage is not,

not bad for monetization. It's not going

to get you demonetized. So no, it's not

because of the fish in a small tank or

whatever. I literally went to the market

and showed all of the, like, the big

parrots chained up and the big dogs in a

tiny cage, and that stream got reviewed

and set back to green. So it must have

been fine.

The risk is if I try and repeat what I

think I said in the last stream, then

won't this stream also get demonetized

because I'm repeating the same thing? I

don't know what I said that was bad

because last stream, the first hour, I was

mostly just talking about the fish and

then I was talking about my Thai lessons.

Had a bit of a rant about skin

color. Maybe that was why things got a

little bit, little bit racial.

So I'm gonna try to be really careful not

to say anything weird today. So I'm

just getting so fed up.

Everything has failed. I at least want to

be able to get some ad revenue for

my livestream, even if it's just $15.

and 4 of the shrimp have eggs, so they

might make babies. That'd be interesting.

And the betta fish doesn't seem to mind.

I don't know, actually, it seems the betta

fish is kind of weird now.

It keeps swimming up and down against the

glass in the same spot all day long,

and I can't get it to stop, and I don't

know why. Either the water quality

is not good, which I don't know why

because I've— I changed the water

yesterday, did a 25% water change. I've

got living plants, the water's oxygenated,

I've got a pump. There's some idiot in the

comments last time Accused me of claiming—

he claimed that I said I only use that

tiny sponge to clean the tank when I never

said that. And then he was like, oh, you

need a proper filtration system. I have a

filter, it's hanging off the back. That's

why you couldn't see it. Obviously I

bought a filter. I mean, I bought it live

on stream, remember? Remember I bought the

filter pump? Stupid idiots saying I don't

know how to look after fish. I know what

to buy. I know you need a pump and you

gotta get like a scraper to scrape the

algae off, which I haven't bought yet

because I haven't got any algae yet. I

need to buy one of those siphon vacuum

things. I also got gravel and plants

to put at the bottom.

I'll be interested in hearing Dan speak

Thai, must be funny. It doesn't really

sound that weird. Unless— I don't know,

it's like, I know what you're saying,

that Thai sounds kind of funny, but it

only sounds kind of funny when it's like a

woman screeching, like a middle-aged woman

sound normal, and women sound normal when

So six is hot mong chao, jet mong chao,

p.m., I forgot now. It's like one p.m.

until four p.m. Is bai mong.

So 1 o'clock is bai mong, and then 2 PM

frustrating me is I still don't know what

the teacher looks like because of the face

mask. Doesn't it really— does it really

annoy you guys that you can't see

what people look like because of the face

mask. It's like really bugging me. I

really feel curious about knowing what she

looks like. On the first lesson, she wore

this mask with a transparent plastic bit

around her mouth so you could see her

pronounce words, but then she went back to

wearing a normal mask, so I could kind of

see what she looked like. But I still

don't really know what she looks like,

and it's bugging me.

I hate how everyone wears face masks still

here. You get on the train, everyone has a

face mask even though you don't have to

wear one. You don't have to wear it,

but they still want to wear it. I don't

get it. Why would you voluntarily wear

a mask when you don't have to wear it?

Even in Japan, not everyone was wearing a

mask. Yeah, I guess it could protect you

from the air pollution and obviously the

sun. I guess I got sunburned on my nose

last time I did a stream outside.

I don't like wearing them because it fogs

up my glasses and you can smell your

breath in the mask even though I brush my

teeth. After a few hours, the bacteria

starts festering again.

I think people are

getting scared of not wearing a mask in

the same way you wouldn't walk around

without underwear. I feel

like people are going to start getting

scared of people being able to see their

face because they're so used to hiding it.

She's kind of weird. Looking at someone's

face used to be the number one way of

identifying someone. Now we have to use

other ways, like the shape of their body.

audience. When those views are only from

my channel and the people who are

interested in the marriage drama.

These, I don't know. I mean,

Nintendo World video could get views,

but it didn't for her.

I don't know why her videos don't get like

a million views, because I have seen very

simple travel videos— just go to USJ or

get on the train to Kyoto— and it gets

like a million views. But it needs to be

titled and the SEO and tags need to be

done properly. I don't think she's done

But that's kind of like what tech channels

are like. Gaming channels are the same.

They'll have like a million subs and just

get 40K views, but when there's

a trending new game out, they'll get a

couple hundred thousand views.

It's cuz they're not really

personality-based channels, they just get

views from whatever's trending, which is

what I want to do. I want to do like a

channel where I don't have to rely on my

personality or my life to be interesting,

just rely on whatever's trending. The

problem is when there's nothing trending,

you're kind of screwed.
