Selling my stuff on Facebook Marketplace

has been so annoying. They keep asking for

discounts. So, you know, I sold my

wireless mics recently. The guy is really

annoying. The guy who bought it off me.

So the DJI wireless

mics cost 12,000 baht brand new. It's like

$280. And I

wanted to sell it for 8,000 baht.

I think that's fair. 12,000 baht brand

new, 8,000 baht secondhand, only used for

about a year, good condition, great

condition. So I list it for 8,000

baht. No one messages me until this one

guy messages me and he offers me— he says,

can you discount because you got no box

and no warranty? They always ask about

warranty for some reason in Thailand.

They, they have this obsession with

secondhand goods having a warranty. I

don't even know what warranty is because

in the UK no one cares about it.

Apparently warranty is you get a year's

warranty, so if the device breaks or has a

problem, you can get a replacement or free

repair. What is it though? Is it a number

or a piece of paper or I don't know what,

what is it? Because I didn't get like

special warranty thing when I bought the

thing. And what's he gonna do, send it

back to the UK to get it fixed if it

breaks? Why are you asking about warranty?

Shut up and buy it. It's secondhand

products, what do you expect? And why do

you care about the stupid box? The box

costs like 50 cents to make in a Chinese

factory. It's made out of cardboard. It

doesn't— why does this stupid box add or

take away any value? So he's like, oh, no

warranty, no box, can you discount it? I

already discounted from 9,000 baht, which

is what I wanted initially, but no one was

messaging me. I already took it down from

9,000 to 8,000, so I said, okay,

what about 6,500? And then he says,

okay, deal. So I'm thinking,

not a big problem, 1,500 baht is like

$20. I'll just send it to him for 6,500

baht, which is about $180. So then

He says, where can we meet up? I tell him

the location in Bangkok where we meet up,

and then he says, it's going to take me,

uh, 40 minutes to ride there on my

motorbike. Can I have 500 baht discount

for the fuel? Are you kidding me?

So I say, it takes 500— it costs 500 baht

to ride 40 minutes. And then he changed

it down to 200 baht. So he's trying to

scam me. He already knows 500— it does not

cost 500 baht for fuel. To ride 40 minutes

on a motorbike.

And if you remember earlier to our jobs

discussion, 1 hour at minimum wage

is 50 baht. 500 baht

would be 10 hours working for minimum

wage. You're telling me to ride a

motorbike for 40 minutes, it cost 10 hours

of minimum wage work? You think

That would be like saying, oh, I work at

the petrol station for £11,

£10 an hour, and it's gonna cost me 10

hours of work to ride my motorbike for 40

original asking price was 8,000. I took it

down to 6,500 already, and now you're

asking me for another 200 just because

it's going to cost you to ride your

motorbike. It's going to cost me too, you

know. Well, it's going to cost my

girlfriend petrol, but the same thing.

But it would not cost 200 baht of petrol

to ride 40 minutes on a motorbike. 40

minutes is what, 10 miles? To ride

10 miles on a moped or motorbike, I don't

know how much it costs in fuel, but it's

not going to cost 10 hours of work. So I

took the price down again to like 200

because I just want to sell this damn mic

already. So we meet up and

he sees the mic and he, he tests it on

his phone and he's happy with it. He gives

me the money, I'm happy, he's happy. I go

home and he starts messaging me again

asking me where this clip thing is because

it was missing one of the attachments. It

was missing a hot shoe, cold shoe mount

for cameras. I remember it was lying

around on my desk and I didn't know what

it was for and I chucked it in the bin

because I don't use the camera, do I? I

don't have a DSLR for my attachment for

the— I don't attach my mic to a DSLR, so I

just chucked it in the bin and he asked me

if I still had it. I said no, I put it in

the bin. And then I quickly Googled where

you could buy one and the American DJI

store have it on sale for $4.

And then I look up on Lazada or whatever

the website is called, and it was like 300

baht to buy one of those new little

things, little attachments. It's like 300

baht to, to buy this,

which is— it's like $8.

And guess what he says? He asked me to pay

for it. He said, can you pay me 300 baht

for my little attachment? Yeah, I just

blocked him at that point. I just got

pissed off. Stupid moron.

Honestly, these people have no tact. I

already gave you a 1,500 baht discount. I

already gave you 200 baht for your stupid

fuel, and now you want me to pay another

300 baht for this stupid attachment that I

didn't even say was included with it. In

my listing, I took pictures of everything

that was included. I wrote in the

description everything that's included. I

did not write that the hot shoe mount was

included. Okay, fair play, I didn't say it

was not included because I forgot about

it. I put no box, no warranty. I should

have put no hot shoe mount, but also he

should have checked carefully the

pictures, what was included and not

included. I'm not paying for your stupid

hot shoe mount, idiot. Just pay it

yourself. You already got a good price for

the mics. That would cost you 12,000 baht

brand new. You got it for 6,300.

it yourself, the little attachment. Why

does he even want the attachment? You only

need the attachment to attach it to a DSLR

camera. What's he gonna do? Well, is he

gonna start making YouTube videos and get

a cameraman and do wireless mic

just use it on your phone. It works on

your phone, it works on a computer, it

works not even attached to anything. You

can just record audio on it when it's not

attached to anything. I think he's

autistic because he was kind of weird when

I met him. Don't know, like the way he

spoke, his facial expressions was kind of

off, and he kept messaging me even though

I didn't reply to him, which is another

Sign of autism. People, they just don't

seem to get the hint when I don't reply to

them. They keep messaging you. He said,

can you pay 300 baht? I ignored him. He

messaged me again saying, hello? Hello

yourself. I ignored you because I'm not

going to pay for this stupid 300 baht.

Don't you get it? Are these people stupid?

What is wrong with them? I'm ignoring you

for a reason because I'm not interested in

talking to you. Stupid idiots like Hong

Kong guy couldn't get the hint. So I had

to block them. Then they started crying

about it to my ex-wife. The Hong Kong guy

definitely has autism. He kept messaging

me for weeks even though I didn't reply to

him, asking if I wanted to go for dinner.

I don't want to go for fucking dinner.

enough money to pay for electricity to

charge up the mics I bought from you. Can

you pay my electricity bill? Oh my god.
