Why i had to leave Japan [pipNZp5eO3I]

So as you can see, I'm back in my room. I

just got back to the UK about 2 days ago,

finally back home after nearly 2 years of

being away and being in Asia, Thailand,

Vietnam, Japan. I thought I would never

get back home, but I'm finally here. It's

very nice. I want to make a video just

talking about why I had to leave Japan,

why I decided to come back to the UK,

what my plans are, and, you know. So first

of all, I had the worst airport flight

experience I've ever had in my life. I

nearly missed my flight because I thought

my flight was leaving at 10 AM, but then

they suddenly changed the flight departure

time to 9:30 AM, and I didn't notice until

I got I got to the airport around 8:55

AM and I go up to the check-in counter and

I see the line for my flight is completely

empty, but there's a massive crowd of

Chinese people, I guess, crowding up,

queuing up for the other line. I thought

maybe I have to queue up behind them or

maybe I just go into the empty line.

Luckily I went into the empty line, which

was for my flight, and I say I want to

check in. And then the woman says I'm too

late to check in, check-in is already

finished and they finished boarding the

plane. And I'm like, what do you mean you

finished boarding the plane? I'm not on

the plane yet, so you can't have finished.

So there were 2 women, I think they were

Chinese or Japanese, and one of the women

was frantically typing into the computer a

bunch of stuff to try and print out my

boarding pass. And the second woman was

standing there telling me that check-in

has closed. And then she picked up a phone

and then she started phoning the plane to

ask them if there was still enough time

for me to check in and board the plane.

Luckily, they said I still have time. If I

rush now, I can still make it. So they

print off this fast lane ticket so I can

go through security really fast with all

the other cabin crew and the other pilots

instead of queuing up with everyone else.

So I go through security using my fast

lane ticket, but I forget to take out my

scissors from my bag. And they're

rummaging through my bag, pulling all this

stuff out to try and find the scissors to

take the scissors out. And then they

finally find the scissors, and then I have

to stuff everything back into my bag. I

couldn't fit my laptop back into my

backpack because I didn't have enough time

to rearrange everything. So I'm just

carrying my laptop under my arm slinging

my backpack back over my back with all my

stuff dangling out because I couldn't

shove it all back in to close the zip. It

was so scary. And then I had to sprint

through the airport to get to my gate,

and I was like a rugby player sprinting

through the airport, weaving in and out of

people, dodging kids, jumping over stuff

so I can get to my gate. I had to get onto

this shuttle bus to get to my gate, and I

just cut into the line, cut straight into

the front so I just get in front of

everyone before they could get on, before

the shuttle bus filled up. And then I

finally get to my gate at around 9:15 AM,

and my plane is supposed to depart at 9:30

AM. And I think I was the last person to

board the plane. I get onto the plane and

I sit down, and I'm just sitting there

sweating. I have all this sweat dripping

down my face. I must have looked like a

crazy person, but I managed to get on the

plane and everything was fine,

thankfully. So I flew China Eastern

Airlines because it was really cheap, and

I don't think I would ever fly China

Airlines ever again. It was just a

horrible experience. I had to go to

Shanghai Pudong airport for my layover.

And airport was nice and everything, but

the customer service was just horrible.

You get shouted at, you get yelled at,

the people talk to you really rudely. I

didn't have my boarding ticket for my

transfer for some reason. At the Japanese

airport, they only printed off my first

boarding ticket. They didn't print off my

second boarding ticket for my transfer,

so I didn't have it. And the Chinese woman

at the gate, at the door, was like,

where's your ticket? Why you don't have

ticket? Show me your ticket. And it just

felt really rude the way she spoke to me.

So I had to go to the transfer support

desk and they printed off my boarding

ticket. And then when I was going through

security, I had some coins in my back

pocket and I had to get patted down. I had

to hold my arms up like this. I was

getting patted down by this Chinese girl,

and then she turned me around and she was

like patting my bum to feel the coins.

She tells me to take the coins out. I

take— I was trying to turn around back to

face her, but she kept shoving my shoulder

like shoving me from behind to make me

continue facing that way. So I took my

coins out and I showed her and put them

back in my pocket. I just felt like it was

so rude the way she was shoving me in the

back to stop me from turning around when

she could have just said, don't turn

around, or continue facing that way. They

just yell at you and they just bark orders

at you like you're some kind of prisoner.

And it felt very rude and not very nice,

especially coming from Japan where the

customer service is so nice and they're so

friendly and they treat you so well as a

customer in the Chinese airport, they just

treat you like you're an animal, kind of.

I think they should be a little bit more

respectful to the customers and be a bit

more respectful to me, considering the

fact that I am literally paying for your

wages. The only reason that those people

at the airport make any money at all and

have any money to buy food and pay rent is

because I am buying plane tickets and I'm

flying around the world. So they should be

a bit nicer to their customers, maybe.

And then the flight was not great. It was

so long. It was like 12 hours and 30

minutes, probably one of the longest

flights I've ever had. And Chinese women,

they love to talk and chat really loudly.

It was probably one of the noisiest

flights I've ever had where there were

just groups of Chinese women all around me

non-stop chatting and chatting away. It

was a flight going to Heathrow, so, so

there were a lot of English people on the

flight as well, but I swear I didn't hear

any of the English people talk at all.

The English people just sat down, watched

a movie, listened to music, or went to

sleep. So yeah, I really don't want to

ever have to fly using China Airlines or

China Eastern Airlines ever again. I think

in the future I'm just going to spend more

money, save up a bit more money to get

more expensive plane tickets so I can

avoid flying China Eastern Airlines. It

just wasn't worth saving the extra couple

hundred pounds to be treated so rudely.

Anyway, so I had to leave Japan basically

because I ran out of money and my no visa

90-day stamp kind of ran out, and my

sister's getting married very soon, so I

had to come back to the UK. I literally

have no money left. I've got minus £1,700

on my credit card. I've got minus £400

overdraft in my main bank account, and I

owe my mum £11,000 because she helped me

pay for my unexpected tax bills and tax

penalties because I didn't do my taxes

properly back when my channel was really

popular. So even if I wanted to, I can't

really travel anymore because I am

completely broke now. It's fine. I don't

really want to travel anymore anyway. I'm

so tired of traveling and sitting in

planes and on buses and in trains and

going here and going there. I just want to

stay at home for a good amount of time and

focus on making videos and trying to make

money so I can pay off all my debts and

just relaxing at home and doing things

that I enjoy like gaming, tech, computer

stuff, cooking, and just enjoying my

garden. I walked around in my garden this

morning and I haven't been surrounded by

so much nature and so much green since 2

years ago, I've just been living in

Bangkok and Osaka and Tokyo and in these

really big, massive cities where they're

pretty nice, but it's just endless

concrete and gray and roads and traffic

and noise, and you're surrounded by

thousands of miserable people on the

streets every day. It's just really nice

to be back in the English countryside

where it's so peaceful and it's so quiet

and the nature is so green and so

luscious, and all the animals and the

birds and the rabbits, it's so So nice to

be back in the UK. I really do think the

UK has the best countryside in the whole

world. I'd say Japan has the best cities.

I would say Japanese cities and even

Bangkok is a better city than any cities

in the UK. London sucks and Manchester

sucks as well. I'd never want to go there

again. But when it comes to the

countryside, the UK definitely has the

best countryside and the best food.

Hello, welcome back to another episode of

Cooking with Daniel. Got my Tesco

delivery. Came last night. Today, we're

gonna have— look, I got sausages, I got

salmon, I got the best bacon in the world.

I don't know why they don't sell this kind

of back bacon anywhere else apart from the

UK, but I'm looking forward to having

bacon again. Okay, so I'm gonna make the

perfect bacon and egg sandwich. First of

all, we got none— I mean, unsmoked bacon.

So first of all, we have non— fucking

hell. So first of all, we have unsmoked

back bacon, 1 free-range

egg, and some thick slices

of bread. First of all, cut open your

bacon.

Put the bacon into the pan.

Mr. Pushkin, what's wrong?

What's wrong? Meow meow.

Meow meow. Mr.

Pushkin, how you doing?

And that is how you make the perfect bacon

and egg sandwich. So nice to be back

again, out of that horrible guest house

with that stupid American American guy who

was constantly making noise, talking on

the phone until 3 AM in the morning at

night. I hated him so much, and I was so

stressed out living in that guest house.

It was either live in a cheap, horrible

guest house with these stupid, annoying,

loud people who have no consideration for

other people, or spend loads of money to

get like a tiny little apartment in Tokyo,

Osaka, £100 a night. And I was just

stressed out the whole time. I couldn't

really get into the right mindset to feel

creative and make videos. And now I'm

feeling good again. It's nice and

peaceful. I've got my own space. I've got

this big house. You have no idea how nice

it is going from living in some kind of

apartment building, this shared building,

going from that to going to a completely

detached house with no neighbors,

massive garden all around the house.

You're not sharing the building with any

strangers, just your family. It feels so

nice to come back to this. And I feel

like, why did I leave in the first place?

I feel like I want to get back into

putting effort into making videos again,

try and at least try to make good videos

again instead of just these endless lazy

livestreams that just went on forever

where nothing really happened in them. I

would do maybe 1 or 2 livestreams a week,

maybe just 1 livestream a week. I just

want to cut back down a bit on the endless

livestreams of nothingness and just try

and get back into like a creative mood and

trying to make videos like how I used to

make in the past. So for now, I think I

just want to take things slowly and relax

and do a lot of thinking, try and figure

out what I want to do in life from now on.

I really have no interest in going back to

Japan anytime soon. I'm really burnt out

on Japan. I just got so fed up of being in

Japan after 3 months there. Livestreaming

outside nearly every single day was really

tiring and exhausting, and it just kind of

made me not like Japan anymore. I just got

so fed up of it. So I finally finished

setting up my desk and my computer setup

again because when I got back home for

some reason all the stuff was all out on

top of the desk and all these cables were

everywhere. Someone had been rummaging

through my stuff and they pulled

everything out. Don't know who it was.

But yeah, I finally sorted everything out.

It's got everything the way I like it

again. I've got my main monitor for the

game gaming stuff. I got my second monitor

on my laptop for web browsing, chatting,

that kind of stuff. And I got my third

monitor hooked up to my CCTV camera,

which is out there, so I can see what's

going on outside. So all these monitors

are connected to my laptop through this

massive USB hub. I've got like 1, 2,

3, 4, 5, 6— 6 USBs

plugged into this hub. Which is plugged

into my laptop. Got 2 HDMIs, got one

there, and I've got another HDMI going

in, going into here. So I've got 2 HDMIs

from the 2 monitors going straight into my

laptop. And I bought this new gaming mouse

mat, which is really nice. Look at this,

it's got RGBs around the edge of it. When

you press this button, change the color,

and it's got a wireless charger, so my

iPhone is You place it, you place it here

and it can do wireless charging like that.

So that's pretty nice, got a wireless

charger here as well. So when I place my

phone onto it, it will start

charging, but it's fully charged. And I

got this new plug here, I got this Anker

high output wattage mega charger, it's

really good, haven't tried it yet though.

I couldn't use the ASUS power brick that

came with my laptop because Obviously it

has a Thailand plug. Where is it? Yeah,

so it has a Thailand plug. Can't use that

in the UK, but I thought I could use this

adapter. I got this adapter which has UK

pins on it, and I thought I could plug it

into here and then use it. But this

adapter is kind of dangerous because

when I tried plugging my Japanese hair

dryer into it, it was powered on for like

2 seconds, and then the inside of the hair

dryer went all red, and it looked like it

was going to explode before it quickly

shut itself down. So yeah, that's not very

good. I had to buy a new 100-watt

high-power charger AC adapter. It's got

like 100-watt output, so it's pretty

powerful to be able to power my laptop,

which is powering 2 monitors and the game.

And for some reason, I don't know why,

but my wireless gaming mouse, when I plug

the wireless receiver in, it doesn't work

anymore. So it has to now be a wired

mouse. I'm not sure how to fix that. So

you can see it's plugged in here, the

receiver, and I've unplugged the mouse,

so it should work, but it doesn't work.

So yeah, I don't know how to fix that.

And I noticed I have so many gaming

mouses. I've got this Logitech more simple

looking mouse, which is really dirty, I

need to clean that. And I've got this more

gamer looking Logitech mouse, which looks

pretty cool, also very dirty. It's got a

spinny wheel. And this weird-looking rat

gaming mouse. Mouses get so disgusting,

don't they? I ordered some wet wipes, so

when those come, I'll clean my mouse and

all the surfaces because everything's

really dusty and everything was covered in

spider webs. I had to spend almost,

almost all day yesterday and the day

before, I was just cleaning my room,

sorting out all my desk, and then I

started cleaning the rest of the house

because the kitchen, living room— God, it

was so messy and so dirty. I had to vacuum

all the floors. But that's just how things

are when you come back from traveling for

a few years, come back to your room,

everything's just a complete mess. For

some reason, things don't stay the way you

left them. But I'm finally getting near to

how I like to have everything. Just got to

adjust a few more things, gotta throw more

stuff away. I've got so much junk, I don't

know what all this is. It just, it has to

go in the bin. There's so— oh my God,

look at all this. Got my Switch OLED dock.

I don't have the Switch OLED anymore,

I've got the Switch Lite. I've got loads

of cables everywhere, loads of cables,

cables everywhere. There's also cat hair

all over my curtains, so I need to get one

of those sticky roller things. Let's get

rid of all the cat hair. Everything is so

messy, and I bought— I ordered these

little drawers, closet drawers, to go

inside of the closet so I can take out

this mountain of clothing and then

organize it into the drawers. It should be

coming tonight. Yeah, everything is just a

huge mess. I think it will take a few more

days until I finally get everything sorted

and get everything the way I like it. But

yeah, it's kind of a fun activity, I
