HelloTalk banned me

Oh hey, I didn't realize you were there.

So recently I got this beeswax lip balm.

I think it's working. Do my lips look

better? They're not as cracked as they

used to be. So this is what I started

doing after I finished having a shower. I

start using this, I put it on straight

away, and it seems to be working. I think

it's because after you've had a shower,

all the water kind of washes off your

natural oils and it causes everything to

moisturize moisturize after you've

finished having a shower. I guess that's

kind of obvious, but for some reason I

didn't realize that until recently,

and I don't seem to be having any problems

with my lips. I fixed it. I'm a genius.

peppermint, so when you put it onto your

lips, it feels strange. It's like— it's

all tingly. It feels like you've got

toothpaste on your lips, which is

interesting. It's a new experience.

That's what life is all about. Anyway,

we're not talking about my lips. As much

as I would love to talk about my lips all

day, I actually want to talk about

HelloTalk. And I got banned from HelloTalk

a few days, and I want to tell you how I

got banned.

Okay, so this is how I got banned. I

decided to ask weird question on HelloTalk

in Japanese, and this was the question I

asked: what would you do if you woke up

one day and suddenly your girlfriend had a

penis instead of a vagina? And I didn't

word it exactly like that. I didn't use

vulgar words like penis or vagina or pussy

or cock. I, I worded it in a very mature

way. I used words like male genitals and

female genitals. I don't think that

there's anything wrong with using those

words. I don't think it's against the

rules, but apparently some uptight serious

idiot Japanese person didn't like my weird

question, and I'm pretty sure someone

reported me. Now, I didn't actually get

banned for asking that specific question,

although that question got removed, and I

got a warning message from HelloTalk

saying, this is a— this is an application

for language learning. Please stick to the

rules and don't, don't ask inappropriate

things. So I said okay, and I just ignored

it and I moved on. And I wanted to— I

started posting more things to Moments. I

started posting more photos and writing

more things. But I realized that I was

getting 0 likes and 0 comments, which is

pretty unbelievable because I had over 270

followers on that HelloTalk account. So

there's no way I would have 270 followers

and be getting 0 likes and 0 comments. It

doesn't really matter that I had over 270

followers. Even if you made a new account

and then you started posting things, you

would get at least 20 to 30 likes and

loads of comments. Just from random

people. It doesn't matter if you have

followers or not. So I went on to my

moments history and I had a look at my

past moments, and I realized that every

single one of my moments had loads of

likes and comments until I asked

that strange question. After that, after I

asked that strange question, all of my

following moments, my posts and photos,

got zero feedback, zero comments, zero

likes. And I thought to myself, something

fishy is going on. This is suspicious.

There's no way that I would be getting

zero likes. At first I thought maybe

people just don't care about what I'm

saying anymore. Maybe I'm asking— I'm

writing things, onto-the-moment things,

at the wrong time when Japanese people are

sleeping and none of them actually

realizing that I'm writing stuff. But that

was kind of unbelievable because even if

that was the case, there would at least be

one or two likes and comments, but there

was absolutely nothing. So I suspected

that HelloTalk silenced me. They muted

me. They made it so even though I was

writing things onto the moment section,

no one could actually see what I was

writing. To be honest, I didn't really

care. I don't really use HelloTalk

anymore. The only reason I signed up to

HelloTalk in the first place wasn't to

practice Japanese or to learn Japanese.

It was to find a Japanese girlfriend. And

since I've accomplished that goal, I found

a Japanese girlfriend, or she found me, I

kind of lost interest in using HelloTalk,

but I still like to post photos onto

HelloTalk's Moments and, and get likes and

comments just for fun, just to see the

response of Japanese people. And I felt so

irritated and annoyed that HelloTalk would

just sneakily silence me and mute me and

stop people from being able to see my

comments and photos. And,

and that kind of irritated me. So I did a

test To see how far— what I could do,

what line I have to cross until I get

banned from HelloTalk. It was all thanks

to Moments in the first place that Tomoko

found me. It was because I was posting

strange stuff to Moments and I was linking

my YouTube videos, and she just randomly

found what I was linking and sharing, and

she liked what she saw, and she decided to

private message me, and then you all know

what happened next. So if it wasn't for

Moments, then I would still be single. So

I started to think to myself, what can I

do to get myself banned? Now, the obvious

thing would be to post pictures of

penises, but that's too easy. I wanted to

try something else first. So I wrote some

messages onto Moments saying how much I

hate HelloTalk, saying how dare they ban

me, how dare they silence me like that.

But I didn't really get any response. So I

started replying to other people's

messages. I started being really rude and

saying sexually inappropriate things to,

to people on their moments. For example,

there was this Japanese girl who was

saying that she really likes Germany. She

really enjoyed going to Germany. I said,

why don't you try German sausage in your

vagina? Hahaha. She was kind of shocked by

that. I know it's kind of an immature

thing to do, but I was trying to get

banned, so you kind of have to understand

what my goal was in the first place. And

then after that, I decided to up the game

a little bit, and I started sending

pictures of penises to the people that I

used to talk to in private messages, and I

used to talk to these people quite

regularly. They were kind of like friends,

I guess, at the time, but I haven't

talked— I haven't spoken to them for weeks

and weeks, months and months, ever since I

got a girlfriend. So I felt like they

don't really exist to me anymore. Who

cares if I completely embarrass myself to

them or if they hate me? So I started

sending them pictures of penises. I won't

tell you if they were mine or if If I just

Google them, you can use your imagination.

No one actually responded. A few of them

read the message because there's a little

R letter under the message when they've

read it, but they didn't say anything.

There was this one Japanese woman who

actually replied. She was, she was a bit

surprised. She wasn't really angry. She

just laughed. She said, you better stop

doing that, otherwise you're gonna get

banned on HelloTalk. That was kind of the

whole point. But anyway, I said, sorry, I

made a mistake. I wasn't supposed to send

you that. And then she just laughed, and

then we talked a bit more. And then I got

banned the next day. So, mission

accomplished. So since I achieved my goal

of getting banned, I wanted to make a new

account because I still wanted to post

things to Moments, but I wanted to get

likes and comments. Otherwise, what's the

point? If no one's gonna see it, then

there's no point in uploading it, is

there? So I tried making a new account

after my old account got banned, and it

said this device can't be used to make

accounts on HelloTalk anymore. It was like

they tried to ban my phone from making

accounts on HelloTalk, but I found a way

to get around this. All you have to do is

you just need to delete the application

and then reinstall it, and then it lets

you make a new account. So it's pretty

easy to get around that. I made a new

account with the same name. I even used

the same photo, and so far it's going

well. Whenever I upload things to Moments,

I get loads of likes and comments, even

though I just started the account a few

days ago. And I haven't been banned again

yet, so I'm pretty sure HelloTalk haven't

realized that I made a new account after

my old one got banned.

I need to get a life. I was just kind of

irritated. How dare they silence me? How

dare they mute me from making comments,

from posting moments? How dare they stop

people from being able to see my moments?

That's just so rude. If you're gonna do

something like that, at least Send me a

message or warning message or just ban my

account. There's no point in having an

account on HelloTalk when you can't get

any likes and comments on moments. I just

feel kind of betrayed. I feel like I've

been stabbed in the back because I made a

video for HelloTalk when they contacted me

asking me if I could make a video for

them, and I made a video for them

promoting their service, promoting their

application, saying how great it is for

finding Japanese girls. And I gained over

200 followers for making that video

because they featured one of my videos on

the application so that it will show up on

the application to people who are learning

Japanese. And I had about 1,000 likes on

that featured video, and I gained, I

gained hundreds of followers, and I had

over 270 followers on that account, and

now they're all gone. I only have 7

followers on my new account. But I'm

building my way back up. We're gonna get

back to 270, and I'm gonna try— I'm

gonna try not to get banned again. I don't

really care though. The thing that

irritates me about HelloTalk is how

anti-dating they are. They keep going on

about how it's not a dating app, that you

shouldn't use it to hook up with people.

But who are they? Who do they think they

are telling people not to do something

that people instinctively designed to

do. So if you want a Japanese girlfriend,

I, I really recommend HelloTalk. It's a

great application not only for learning

Japanese but also for finding the Japanese

ladies, and you'll get so many

opportunities to talk to a lot of Japanese

girls. And I think it's a really good app,

maybe second best to Tinder. And, um,

yeah, if I can find a girlfriend on there,

then, then you can too.
