Visiting a small ghost town in Japan [vUwzQhARX3U]

Hey, so this is a quick update on what's

happening. I'm in this place called Saiki

City. S-A-I-K-I.

I walked out on my wife a few nights ago

after I released the I Feel So Betrayed

video. The Hong Kong guy uploaded a 3rd

video After he uploaded the 3rd video,

I got kind of angry again, and me and my

wife argued again, and I

packed my stuff and I walked out. I was

complaining about the 3rd video on my

Discord server, ranting about it, and then

my wife also came onto the server and

started ranting, and I got fed up with all

of this ranting, so I banned her from my

Discord. And as soon as I banned her from

my Discord, she went completely mental.

She grabbed my iPad, threw it on the

ground pretty hard. Luckily it didn't

break. Turns out iPad screens are pretty

tough. And then she sat down on the bed,

and then I started packing my things and I

just walked out. I got onto the bullet

train, and now I'm here in

this hotel room in Kyushu.

I'm in this tiny little city called

Saiki. There's absolutely nothing here.

Not really sure why I came here. It was

just kind of random. Seemed interesting to

just get on a train. I was on the train

for about 6 hours. 2 hours on the bullet

train, 1 hour from Kokura to

Oita, and then 1 hour from Oita to here.

But I missed— I missed my stop, and the

next stop from this place is an hour away,

so I had to get on the train, so I had to

stay on the train for an hour to get to

the next stop and then wait for the next

train and then come all the way back here,

which took another hour. So I was on

trains for most of yesterday, and I'm

here. I walked around a bit yesterday and

there's absolutely nothing here. It's just

like a tiny town. I don't even know why

it's called a city. Surrounded by

mountains, there's no shopping area or

entertainment area, absolutely no

nightlife. There's a karaoke over

there and there's a few restaurants and

there's pachinko and there's a net cafe

and a convenience store. That, that is it.

I might go outside later to show you

around, but I'm not staying here for much

longer. I've got one night more booked

here for tonight, but it's so boring I

might just leave today and go to a bigger

city. I don't really know what to say

about the situation between me, the Hong

Kong guy, and my wife. It's all just kind

of complicated. I feel really bad for

saying all those horrible things about

Casey, the Hong Kong guy. I had all

these ideas in my head that he was

secretly messaging her and then seeking

her out to take advantage of our problems

to grow his channel and benefit from it.

But after talking to him hearing his side

of the story doesn't— it doesn't really

sound like that's the case. But it's just

really complicated because he says one

thing, my wife says another thing. It's

all just like a complete mess. There's all

these language communication problems,

people misunderstanding. I'm getting angry

because I don't like how she badmouthed

me for hours and hours and and then got

him to make a video about it showing

everyone. A lot of the things she said in

his video I don't even feel were very fair

to me, like the way she said I don't give

her any money or I don't buy her things,

which just isn't true. I don't really buy

her gifts, but I buy her things, you know,

to help around the house, like appliances

and food and

luxury things like nice coffee. So I

don't, I don't feel like it was fair when

she said stuff like I don't give her any

money or I don't buy her things. And now

people think I'm also some kind of

abusive, violent person. Yeah, I lost

my temper a few times and I broke things,

but I never would hurt her. I never

touched her. But I feel like people are

just over-exaggerating it now based off of

what she's been saying. Anyway, I don't

really know what to do about the whole

situation. We're supposed to go to England

in a few days together.

I still feel annoyed about the whole

thing. She apologized to me, so there's

not really anything else she could do. I

think having a few days apart from each

other will be good for us.

So I'm gonna do a bit of traveling around

I really would like to just be able to

forgive her and get back together and then

go to England together because I was

looking forward to seeing my family again

and having a nice Christmas together.

Maybe I just need to try and put this all

behind me. And try

and forget about it. It's just really

difficult.

Look, this is one of the reasons why I

feel so upset about this. This is a

comment on one of my videos,

and he says his wife admitted to being

afraid of him due to relationship being

one of domestic violence. That's just so

overexaggerated. My wife is not afraid of

me. Trust me, she's not afraid or scared

of me. The relationship is not a violent

relationship. What are you talking about?

Sometimes we have big arguments and I

smash stuff, but that only happened about

once in the last 6 months. It's not like

it's happening every day. Okay, in the

last 6 months there were 2 incidents. The

recent one where I smashed my own stuff

after finding out about the KC Hong Kong

guy thing. And then previously I, I broke

her door. Well, it wasn't even her door.

It was a door in her apartment. I kicked

the glass and it shattered, and then I

paid for it to be repaired. In the last 2

months, those were the only acts of,

of aggressiveness that I showed. I don't

agree with this being a relationship of

domestic violence. What a load of rubbish.

And then this guy says, she also spoke of

feeling used by Daniel to get more YouTube

views and how Daniel never shared any of

the money from those videos with her.

Again, load of rubbish. I pay her $400

a month for rent, half the food and

utilities. No, the $400 is just for the

rent and utilities. I also give her money

for for food in addition to the rent. And

I do buy her stuff. I buy her stuff all of

the time. Look, I've got screenshots of

all of these orders off of Amazon that I,

I paid for with the YouTube money to,

to buy things for the house, for the

apartment, and the commodities. Yeah, we

share them, but I paid for all of them.

So how she can claim that I never shared

any of the money with her, I don't know

how she can make that statement. It just

really annoyed me. And then he goes on to

say, not helping her to do things around

the home. What are you talking about? I do

the laundry, I wash the dishes, I do the

vacuuming, and what else do I do? I clean

the fish tank and I keep the fish fed. I

also take the laundry in and I fold it and

I put it away. What do you mean I don't

help to do things around the home? I help

almost every day. Doing chores and

housework. And this is why I'm so upset,

because she went to the Hong Kong guy,

complained about me, saying all this stuff

that isn't true or fair, and now people

watch it and they think that's what I'm

like when I'm not. Now thanks to all that,

people think that I don't help around the

house, I take advantage of her, and then I

don't give her any money or help

pay for things with the money. And they

also think that I'm some kind of violent

abuse— abusive person.

Thanks a lot. And people are wondering why

I'm so upset. And in the beginning of

Casey's 3rd video, he was talking about

how Chihiro was crying and how he could

see her tears and he had to turn off the

camera. But when I asked her about that,

she says— uh, where is it?

She says She wasn't crying, and she has no

recollection of crying.

She says she was drinking alcohol, so she

doesn't remember at all. And then she says

she was sniffing, and that's maybe why he

thought she was crying. In the beginning

of Casey's video, he starts it off by

telling everyone that she would— she was

crying, she burst out in tears, and he had

to turn the camera off, when that wasn't

even the case. And now everyone thinks

she's terrified of me, and I made her cry,

and she's so scared of me that she broke

down in front of him. Which, according to

my wife, if you can read Japanese,

here is what she said. Apparently all of

that's not true. If any of these things

that she said were true, then I wouldn't

be so upset. I would just hold my hands up

and say, okay, I admit I haven't been the

best husband. But I just disagree with

most of the things that she's been saying

on the Hong Kong guy's videos. And the

worst thing is people who watch it,

they're just going to watch it and then

take everything she says as, as the truth,

as facts, and they're going to think I'm

this terrible person. I'm not saying I'm a

great person, I've done bad things, but I

don't like people think I'm thinking I'm a

terrible person because of things that

aren't true. I don't mind admitting when

I've done, done things wrong and I've made

mistakes. I've made plenty of videos where

I talk about terrible things I've done and

people criticize me for it, and that's all

fair because, because it's true. But then

you get people like my wife telling people

things about me that isn't even true, and

I'm getting criticized and judged for

things that aren't even true. This is why

I'm so upset.

actually. A little bit expensive.

How exciting.

It's not very exciting. The train

station's over there. There's a Family

Mart over there. There's a road and

mountains. A lot of mountains.

I'm going to go to the sea.

See if it looks nice or not. It's a bit

overcast, so everything looks gray and

dull, just like my life.

Wow, look at this place! It's so

run-down looking. Like it's been

abandoned, but there's still a few people

living here. I don't know why you'd want

to live here. I just see absolutely no

appeal. Why live here when you can just

move to a big city? So lifeless.

Look at these rusting iron beams.

Oh wow, it looks like a train station.

Oh, I thought it was some kind of

abandoned train station.

Those are usually pretty cool. There's

quite a few abandoned train stations in

England, and they don't demolish them,

they just let, let them remain

there, and then it all overgrows with

Grass and nature.

Look at this place,

it's so quiet.

Japanese-style house.

Oh look, I found the sea. There's a marine

bus terminal. Wonder where it goes.

Hmm, I don't know if I want to get on a

boat today. I don't really feel like it.

There's a cat.

2 cats.

I think they're scared. Why are cats

always scared of me? I'm not scary.

Looks quite nice here,

very scenic.

Imagine living here. And then you have

the sea right in front of you.

I guess it's peaceful. Not everyone wants

to live in a busy city.

Can you imagine if you signed up to the

JET program as an English teacher in Japan

and they sent you here?

Jesus Christ. Imagine you have a dream of

coming to Japan. They put you in this tiny

little remote town in the

middle of nowhere.

That's why I don't like the JET program.

They usually place you someplace, some

location in the Japanese countryside

or a remote area. And you don't really get

to choose.

I bet it's pretty cheap to live here

can go up into the mountains a little bit.

Am I allowed into the tunnel? It doesn't

say no pedestrians.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I'm allowed in there.

I guess I am, otherwise it would say no

pedestrians.

I've never been in a Japanese tunnel

before. New experiences.

it's very romantic.

Look at these rocks,

the inside of a mountain. The inside of

a mountain, guys.

They carved a tunnel out

of a mountain. I can't see a thing.

I can't see a thing.

Wow, we're at the other end.

Let's see what's on the other side of the

tunnel, do some exploring. Not much else

to do.

Hmm, I can see cranes.

Looks like some kind of factory. Well,

there's not much here. It's just shipping

stuff, cranes and factories. And there's

another tunnel this way.

Wow, it's very noisy.

Very, very loud.

Well, it's starting to rain now, so I

think I'm going to get some food and then

head back to the hotel. This is

one of the main streets in this area.

Look how depressing it is. It's just

so empty. You've got a family restaurant

here, Nissan car dealership,

7-Elevens over there. It's just so

bleak.

Nice scenery though. I like mountains,

something we don't really have in England.
