why i HATE Lords of the Fallen - BROKEN GAME

Hello, welcome back to a new video. So

recently I've been trying to play Lords of

the Fallen, but this game is so incredibly

bad that I had to quit the game and give

up. This game is so broken I can't even

play this game on my RTX 3060 gaming

computer without the game being a complete

stuttery laggy mess. For some reason the

game thinks the game is not installed on

an SSD and it's saying it's installed on a

low-speed disk, which is not. I've only

got one drive, a 500GB SSD. I don't have

an HDD, so I don't know what it's talking

about saying that it's not installed on a

high-speed drive. And maybe that's the

problem, because this game is so laggy. I

don't know why the frame rate is so bad on

this. I was getting like 15-20 FPS even

with all the graphics set down to low and

with DLSS Ultra Performance turned on.

And there's just absolutely no excuse for

this. Using this same gaming computer I

was able to play Elden Ring on ultra

settings, and that was a massively open

world with loads of stuff going on all at

the same time. Whereas this, on the other

hand, is not open world. It's very linear.

It's got very small maps. It is kind of

astonishing a game can be released like

this when it's not even optimized well for

PC. Maybe they only made it with consoles

in mind and they didn't really care about

PC gamers, but as a PC gamer, I just

cannot play this game because it's just a

complete mess. And no matter how much I

fiddle with the graphics settings,

nothing seems to make any difference. I

did download the new driver for Nvidia and

that didn't really make a difference

either. It's kind of weird because I

downloaded Life of Pi, which was on Xbox

Game Pass, and I was able to play that

game on high settings and I'd have a frame

rate of like 50 to 60 and it would

maintain around a frame rate of 45 to 60

without too much problems. So it's not

really an excuse to say that I need a new

computer or I need to upgrade my computer

specs because these computer specs can

play AAA modern games at a decent level

fairly well. But even during the brief

moments when the game was running kind of

smoothly, I didn't really enjoy the game

anyway because it just feels like a

rip-off of Elden Ring or Dark Souls. It

plays almost exactly the same, but maybe a

bit faster. I would say that it doesn't

move as slowly and as clunky as a Dark

Souls game. You don't even have to explain

what this game is about because if you

played a Dark Souls game, it's basically

exactly the same with Sites of Grace,

right-clicking the right thumbstick to

lock onto enemies and rolling, heavy and

light attacks, blocking, and different

weapons and different classes. The only

difference is if you hold the left

trigger, you hold up a lamp, the Lamp of

Umbra, which allows you to peek inside the

world of the dead or the land of the dead,

which will allow you to complete different

kinds of puzzles and allow you to gain

access to areas where you can't usually

get into in the normal world of the

living. It's not really exactly an

original game mechanic. I've seen this in

plenty of other games, And it's just kind

of annoying because you have to keep

flipping between 2 different worlds just

to be able to access different bridges or

levers to open a door or get over a gap.

The game isn't exactly very original. If I

had to describe this game, it's kind of

like a cross between a smelly hot dog and

a rotting sausage roll. It either stinks

or it tastes really bland, boring, and

lacking in lustre. I wasn't really too

impressed with the graphics of the game

either. It wasn't really blowing my socks

away, and when I compare the graphics of

this game to older Dark Souls games, it

didn't really seem very good. It's kind of

baffling to me that this game was made in

2023 when it looks like it was made almost

10 years ago. So unfortunately, for those

reasons, I can't really recommend this

game because I didn't even get very far

into it. I actually just deleted it after

about 20 minutes because it was so bland

and boring, and the performance issues

just rendered it completely unplayable.

I don't know why all these random

companies are coming out with Elden Ring

clones recently. I don't think they

understand that the Elden Ring hype and

trend is long and truly dead. That game

was really popular last year, and if you

go onto Google Trends, no one really cares

about Elden Ring anymore or Dark

Souls-style games. So it's like they're

trying to catch lightning in a bottle

again. And be the next Elden Ring kind of

game that's going to blow up and catch

everyone off guard and be the next smash

hit. I don't see the point of just

creating like all these Elden Ring clones

which are not even as good as Elden Ring,

just trying to catch on to jump onto a

bandwagon or jump onto a trend that was

trending a year ago. If I really had the

itching to play a Dark Souls game or a

Soulslike game, I wouldn't even play this.

I'd rather just go back and play Elden

Ring again because it was so much better.

Than anything this game has to offer.

Just with the music and the atmosphere of

Elden Ring can easily blow this game out

of the water. Just seems like a weird

strategy to copy a popular game but then

do everything worse and more bland and

boring. If you're gonna copy a popular

game, at least do something unique, or at

least make it a better game than the game

you're copying. Otherwise, what's the

point? How many more freaking soulslike

games are we gonna have to see before they

get the message that us gamers don't want

soulslike games or Elden Ring clones. We

just want Elden Ring 2. So yeah, this is

just another one of those boring soulslike

games. Doesn't really bring anything new

to the table. I'd have to give it a 6.2

out of 10. Do not buy.
