Uber Eats today. So I've done Uber Eats

4 days in a row now. I think I have the

data to come to my conclusion.

insurance, it's probably like £9 an hour

really. Insurance is costing me £6 a day,

So then if I make about £70 in a day, you

got minus about £6 or £7.

It's still better than nothing. It's still

better than YouTube as well.

I don't really know if it's that much

worse than Amazon.

Because if you do it every day and you

make about £60-70 a day, you'd make over

£2,000, which is around the same as you'd

make on Amazon doing it every day. I did

Amazon every day for 4 months.

Most I would make usually in a month would

be about $1,600-ish.

You'd make about $300 to $400 a week.

So yeah, about $1,400.

But on Uber Eats, if you make about $65 a

day, You would actually make more than

that.

Is it stagnant pay? Yeah, pretty much.

Someone who's been doing it for 1 day will

make the same as someone who's been doing

it for 10 years.

I don't know if I'll do it tomorrow. I

So what I did was I go there around 12 so

I can catch lunchtime. And then I just sit

outside McDonald's and I reject pretty

much anything else that isn't McDonald's

or Subway because they got a McDonald's

and a Subway in the same area. So if it's

Subway, I might take it. I did about 4

Subways today and I did a Waitrose.

The Waitrose one was quite good because it

was on the way home. The guy just ordered

one bottle of Listerine to his hotel. So I

picked it up in Maidstone and then I drove

all the way to this hotel, which is on the

way back home anyway, and they paid me £12

and he was waiting at the reception.

So that's pretty good for

about half an hour drive. Yeah, you got

to grind. It's all about grind.

Grind McDonald's. I went into the

McDonald's so many times. I wonder if

they're getting fed up of me.

McDonald's was pretty quiet today. I guess

not many people ordering McDonald's on

Sunday.

Um, but yesterday was pretty good. It was

really busy and the traffic was really

good. Hardly any traffic, so I was able to

whiz up and down pretty quickly, get back

to McDonald's, get the next one. It's

back-to-back McDonald's. Yesterday was

good. I made nearly £90. Today it was

okay. I made £66,

although I made a mistake. I took a fish

and chips and it took me 40 minutes to

deliver and get back again. That probably

wasted a lot of time just for £9. I could

have done 2 McDonald's in 15 minutes.

So many people in the comments of my last

video keep whining about how I wash my

car. People always got to find something

to whine about. I don't know what they're

saying about scratches.

I don't see any scratches on my car.

I don't rub the sponge on the car that

hard. I just do a light swashing to remove

the mud. I'm not like pushing

all my strength into the sponge. That's

what you'd have to do to get the little

bits of grit to scratch the car. I'm just

like gently sponging it.

People always got to whine about

something. Use the garden hose. I already

explained the garden hose is on the other

side of the house. And it's barely long

enough. I would have to park my car in

front of the shed and then pull the hose

all the way around. It's too much

work.

have to complain about something?

I gotta drag it all the way from the back

with sponging, using soap and a sponge to

it out of you. God, I feel so dizzy from

all the driving. It's probably like 6

hours of driving and then about— no, more

combined total of maybe 1 hour sitting in

the car park. I had to sit in the car park

this morning before I got my first order.

No, I don't take my mum. She doesn't like

doing Uber Eats.

It is a bit boring, but that's what I

like. I want it to be boring and

predictable. I don't want it to be

unpredictable. That's the problem with

Amazon Flex was that it was very

unpredictable. You wouldn't know where

you're being sent. You don't know what

kind of routes. You don't know how many

parcels you're going to be delivering. It

could be 10, it could be 20. Sometimes it

could even be 40. You just don't have any

control over the situation and then it

just makes you really anxious. That's why

I didn't like doing Amazon Flex. Uber Eats

is way better because you've got control

over everything. You can choose exactly

how many deliveries you want to do,

exactly where you go, exactly when

you go home. You've got complete freedom

doing Uber Eats.

The problem is it's just If

you have periods like dead time where you

can't pick up any orders, the clock's

ticking and you're paying by the hour for

insurance. You've already paid £1.40 for

the hour. You want to make the most of the

hour. You end up just sitting in the car

park for like 20 minutes sometimes. I

think Saturday was really good. Sundays,

maybe people just don't eat out much on

probably £6 insurance, so £59-ish.

Oh, it's so windy out there. Another storm

Uber Eats and YouTube isn't enough to get

on Uber Eats. It's just December has been

really great on Amazon Flex because it's

Christmas, but they say that after

Christmas it's not like that anymore. And

it really dies down in January. And then

you struggle to make over £300 a week on

Amazon Flex.

If Amazon Flex is so great, why are there

so many Uber Eats and Deliveroo drivers?

Maybe they all got banned from Amazon Flex

too. Maybe they can't get on Amazon Flex.

We're like the rejects. Now when I drive

past Amazon warehouse, I stare at it. I'm

for a couple hours of work.

I feel like even if they unbanned me, I

don't really want to do it anymore. I'd

rather actually rather do Uber Eats. Uber

Eats pays less money, but it's so much

easier. I just pull up at the McDonald's,

park the car, wait for a few minutes,

go in, get my bags, drive,

2 miles to drop it off, then back to

McDonald's. Do that 15 times, made about

£80, £70.

It's so much easier and less stressful. I

do like it more.

It's just annoying how I got banned

because it is such a dumb reason to get

banned. I would have liked to have the

option to do it if I wanted to. Like,

Morrison's were quite good. They weren't

very stressful.

Why is Amazon Flex more stressful?

Because you don't have any control. You

don't know where you're going to get sent.

Half the time you get sent to a horrible

place. You get too many parcels sometimes,

like 38 deliveries.

It takes about an hour to do 12 to 15

deliveries. So if you got nearly 40, it's

going to take you nearly 4 hours.

And then you got difficult items, like

sometimes you need a password to deliver

it, but if they're not there, you can't

deliver it. So then you got to take it

back to the warehouse. You got passwords

on Uber Eats as well, but no one's going

to order McDonald's and not be there

waiting. Everyone is always waiting

outside the door. As soon as I approach

the door, they open it and they're ready

to take their food because people are

hungry. They order food and they're

waiting. They're not going anywhere.

Well, on Amazon, they just buy expensive

stuff and then they forget about it and

they're not waiting for the password. And

then I have to go and take it back to the

warehouse or they

order alcohol and they're not there and I

need their date of birth. There's no

alcohol on Uber Eats. You have to sign up

to deliver alcohol and medicine, which I

haven't. I don't want to deliver alcohol.

Oh, I did one fish and chips delivery. I

walked into the fish and chip shop. It was

so awkward. There was like this man,

foreign man, white, probably Eastern

European. He just seemed so grumpy, and

then he just yelled for this girl to come

in. I said, I've got an Uber Eats

delivery, and he was like, ahhhh! I don't

know what he said. He probably yelled the

name of the girl. The girl comes out. She

looks like she's been abused or something.

She looks scared or depressed. She didn't

even say anything or make eye contact. So

I'm standing there waiting for her to pack

the stuff in the bag, and then the other

guy's like slamming doors, and he just

looks miserable. Felt really weird.

You do not want to work. If you're going

to work in the food industry, make sure

it's like McDonald's or something,

because then at least you're kind of

protected. Do not get a food job in like

a little mom-and-pop shop where it's

probably some guy who's put all his life

savings into the business and he's really

stressed out, and then he gets really mad

because his entire business and life is on

the line, literally. So if you work in a

pub or like a small cafe or something like

that, it's always run by like some

middle-aged white man who's really fat and

looks like he wants to neck himself and

looks like he's miserable, and then he

just takes it out on his staff. That's the

feeling I felt. I felt sorry for that

girl. She should work for Uber Eats.

God, I'd be scared working there. You make

one mistake and then he yells at you and

slams doors. Probably. I'm not going to

accept orders from there anymore. It felt

so weird. Just felt like

a toxic environment.

Yeah, with Amazon Flex, they will pay

you how much they agreed to pay you before

you start work. So you accept the block

and you guarantee that money as long as

you turn up and finish the job. So if you

finish really quickly, you'll make the

money in half the time. But if you finish

really slowly, then yeah, you don't have a

choice. You can't back out of it. If you

refuse it, you'll get in trouble.

So it is very harsh. It can be very easy,

but it can also be very harsh. Whereas

Uber Eats is just easy. There's never been

a time when I thought, damn, this is so
